The Jupiter Station and Upcoming Classes

Dear friends,

Last night, March 8th, at 11:46 PM Eastern US time, Jupiter stations at 23 degrees, 13 minutes Scorpio. The King of the Gods will move backward — passing over the same patch of sky that he traveled between December 11, 2017 and the present — till he gets all the way down to 13 degrees, 20 minutes Scorpio on July 10th, at which point he’ll station again and move forward.

Every choice you’ve made since mid-December is up for reassessment over these next four months. If you’re happy with where your recent choices have led you, take this time to consolidate your power. If you’re not, it’s a good time for new choices!

Jupiter is known as the Greater Benefic, the planet most associated with positive and life-affirming actions in the world. Since Jupiter entered Scorpio last fall, we have watched as significant secrets were revealed — and, especially here in the US, witnessed a great sea-change in the way our culture thinks and talks about sexual harassment and assault (because Scorpio rules sex), as well as in the way it thinks and talks about gun violence (because Scorpio rules death).

Now through July, Jupiter in his role as Law-Giver (he’s the ruler of Sagittarius, the sign of truth and justice) will ask us all just what we want to DO about these changes. How, specifically, do we ensure that things will be different, next time? What did you think was a law that was actually a norm (that can be ignored by anyone sufficiently brazen)?

And then, too, in his role as World Soul (Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces, the sign of compassion and connection) he asks us to remember that we really are all one, and to seek change in a way that’s intersectional and inclusive. It’s getting clearer and clearer.

The same applies within our individual lives. Cultivate and nurture treasured (Jupiter) projects; look for redirection in the Sagittarius, Pisces, and Scorpio houses of your chart; and expect any planets you might have between 13 and 23 degrees (of any sign) to be triggered and questioned by the Big Guy, twice.

After this retrograde “revision” concludes on July 10th, Jupiter will pass over the degrees between 13 and 23 Scorpio for the third and final time — and by October 6th, he will be completely finished with the journey; that’s when he arrives back at the spot where he’s stationing today.

Notice what you hear that surprises you right now — or within the last five days, or the next five days after the station. There’s a good chance it actually heralds upcoming changes. Uranus, the Lord of Innovation and Chaos, is unaspected in the Jupiter station chart, flying free and pulling the South Node of Fate (on the World Axis) behind him.

Look out for break-ups, too: Uranus also rules divorce, while Pluto in this chart is on the Arabic Part of Marriage. (Between the still-unfolding Stormy Daniels saga and the Donald’s own recent joke, I would not be surprised if Melania left.) With Venus and Mercury both in feisty Aries, the key is to avoid burning bridges, if you can! Unfortunately, there is no Air in the chart, no planets in Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius — which can make it hard to articulate our feelings during this cycle.

Instead of blowing up . . . just keep on moving. Jupiter in Scorpio keeps his own counsel; he knows what he wants and how to get it.

This is a tremendous moment in the history of your life. Make it count!

Big hugs,
Anne
