“Life goes by so fast. Know that it goes SO fast.” said a 93 year old woman when asked for advice for us youngsters seeking her wisdom. For the next few months, it will seem your life is going by so fast!! IT WILL simply FLY BY!! The planets are moving forward! Mars is in the CARDINAL sign of Cancer taking action, action, and more action, changing his focus every two and a half days as Moon zips through the zodiac. Saturn’s whistling a happy tune as he moves along in Leo, heading forward until December, basking in the sunshine of the last rays of action oriented Aries sun. Later this week, Leo ruled Saturn starts a 30-day journey in the solid reliability, building, and earthy dependability of Taurus sun. There is a delicious grand trine in water forming over the next few weeks with Uranus in Pisces, Jupiter in Scorpio as Mars moves into orb in Cancer. The water grand trine will bring oodles of emotional satisfaction, passion, wisdom, vision and creative energy to fuel the next few months.
However, before we go forward, I want to cast one last look back. Last fall, I started writing about the traffic jam we‘d be stuck in until the Spring 2006. Last fall, I suggested you get a magazine or book out, pack some work, flirt with the hottie in the car next to you, pull off into the inviting park, take another route, sing, chat with friends, stop and shop, hang out, or plan fun activities for when you were stuck in traffic. No whining, no obsessing, no complaining, and no horn honking. It was a cosmic traffic jam. A traffic jam you could do NOTHING about. I suggested figure out alternative activities while you were stuck. Waiting. Waiting. And Waiting. You KNEW you were going to be stuck in traffic. In addition, the odds were good you were not going to be riding in the rescue helicopter ~ you were going to be stuck waiting, trapped in your own life!!! So, what did you do with all that precious time?
I bet the Bullfight distracted you. On the other hand, maybe you were in battle with Medusa? You know, the cosmic repeat of the 1982/83 situation that you could do absolutely NOTHING about. How much time did you spend obsessing, fretting, dreaming, stressing, angsting or worrying? Did ANY THING CHANGE during the long months of our cosmic traffic jam? Did your obsessing help? Well, yes, on a spiritual level, it DID help, as hopefully, you figured out a VERY IMPORTANT LIFE LESSON. That lesson aside, do you LIKE how you spent your time, your precious life’s seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks and months? How much time? No, do not wince, just look. We learn by looking, living, thinking and feeling. No, No, NO. No blame! No shame! It was part of the process we call living life.
We are going to be stuck in cosmic traffic jams from time to time. There is nothing we can do about traffic jams. However, we CAN do something about HOW we spend our time WHEN stuck in a traffic jam. Just look at how you spent your time over the last few months!! What are you proud of? What did you earn a medal for? What Medusa did you face and overcome? Were you able to save your Bull from the matador‘s knives and swords? What are you a bit embarrassed about? What do you want to hoist on the flagpole of your life‘s accomplishments? Just NOTICE. Pay attention. Forward we go… many adventures await us.
Monday. Mercury makes a harsh aspect to Jupiter suggesting you hear something you have known was coming. It is not going to be “pleasant”. Nevertheless, you can handle it ~ just step up the plate and swing away. Venus is getting ready to join with Uranus tomorrow so it is going to cost you. I just love how today fits with all of us USA citizens having to mail our taxes in. Ugh. Jupiter’s trine to Vesta suggests making positive changes on the home front (like putting 2005’s tax receipts in the VERY back of your closet!)
Tuesday, Venus joins with Uranus as Mercury squares Mars. Them’s fighting words ~ expect arguments every place. Of course, you can redeploy that Mars energy into taking action on an idea. Venus and Uranus conjunct in Pisces promise that a new cycle of exalted, creative relationships start today. Plant good seeds of wishes, hopes and dreams as Mars is coming along soon enough to hear what Venus told Uranus she yearns to create. As Uranus, Mars and Scorpio are soon to be in a Grand water trine, be careful what you wish for. It will show up VERY quickly!
Wednesday, Mercury joins the north node in Aries as Sun gets a gift of brilliance and understanding from nurturing Ceres Mother Earth type people. If you knew then, what you know now….. I know, I know. It is a process. You figured it out. Moreover, because you HAVE it under your belt now, watch for Saturn to send you a message or gift as Mercury trines him today. Remember the pushes and pulls of our world, while wounding us, create our wisdom and make us stars of our life. We heal. Unless we keep picking at the scab.
Thursday features exalted Venus trining Jupiter in Scorpio as Sun enters Taurus today. Moon in Capricorn in Taurus’s decant at the moment of the Sun’s ingress asks you to proceed with wisdom, committing to working hard for what you want to create. Watch for the shift in energy in Saturn as he moves from being ruled by Sun in Aries into being ruled by Taurus. Feel it? Profound eh? Aries ruled Leo Saturn moved the situation along briskly, once Saturn FINALLY started going forward again. Now, Taurus ruled Leo Saturn asks you to be CRYSTAL CLEAR and VERY SPECIFIC in your intentions. Saturn in Leo is going to pour the creative concrete foundations and lay out the floor plan for the next part of your life over the next 30 days or so. We are talking STRUCTURAL changes not cabinet finishes. If you want an extra couple of feet on the patio, a higher roof, or extra room to meditate in, NOW is the time to say so as Mars squares that North Node of Aries. Forward we go.
Friday, so what did you dream about last night? ADD IT TO YOUR FLOOR PLANS. You are going to want or need it down the road. No, I do not know why. I can tell you that Mars and the Sun are both aspecting Neptune today. You know how Neptune is! We ignore Neptune’s advice at our own risk ~ a flooded basement, a leaky sink, a large bubble of plaster over the shower, a serious case of mold, OR a fabulous Jacuzzi with terrific water pressure in your multi-headed shower Your call. Saturn may grumble when you tell him about Neptune‘s message. However, even old Saturn will agree, perhaps down the road a piece, that it was a solid revision to the floor plans.
Saturn’s day and Sunday, finds Venus trining Vesta, so make an emotional, watery version of your new life. Perhaps we can sing a song, dance a bit in the sunshine or create a poem?
