We’re All in This Together (and a New Moon Webinar)

Dear friends,

What exciting times we live in!

The Sun entered Aries on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:49 PM Eastern US time, passing the Equator and heralding the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, winter in the South. And, true to the sky, we are entering into a brave new world, as well as a new season on earth.

Astrologers cast charts to describe a moment in time. “As above, so below, as without, so within.” From Genesis 1:14 — “And God said, ‘Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.'”

The signs above indicate sacred times ahead!

When the Aries Ingress chart is cast for Washington, DC (and this chart rules the whole of the US, since our nation’s capital is there) we find the Sun in the Fourth House of home and family, and Leo ruling the Ninth House of religion and higher education.

The aspects invite us to stay home, look inward, examine our unspoken (unconscious?) feelings and thoughts. It’s a time to grapple with our spiritual purpose, to study our own lives and the guides all around us.

The Ascendant degree of 24 Scorpio answers to exalted Mars in Capricorn, who is currently getting ready to activate Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn over the next few weeks. Every two years, Mars meets up with these planets; this year, he’s initiating a new two-year cycle in the Second House of value and values. The Big Guys in Cap are about to be awoken by the Lord of Action and War.

We are being asked to determine what is of value to us. The planets may push back: “Really? Is *that* what’s you value?”

In true Capricorn fashion, whatever is NOT REAL, TRUE and SOLID as a rock, falls away, like the spent husks of corn in a winter field. And we know Spring is coming . . . the Sun tells us so!

For years, astrologers have been talking about 2020 and 2021, the dramatic changes indicated by configurations in the heavens. In my own conversations with clients over the past year, I’ve kept asking folks to think back to November 1982 through spring 1983, late 1990 through early 1991, the year 2000, and December 2007 through January 2008. Now squish all those energies together, and you’ll have some sense of the big, big cycle starting now.

It begins this week!

The planetary cycles from those periods mentioned above are converging now, all in a TEENY-TINY corner of the sky, on the World Axis at 22.5 degrees Capricorn.

In my 26 years as an astrologer, I have never seen configurations precisely like these. But when I describe these transits piece-by-piece as echoing the months and years mentioned above, my clients do see them emerging in their lives. For younger folks, check in with parents and older siblings to reveal the story-themes that will be most relevant to you.

Here’s what I’m looking back on:

In November 1982, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She died on my father’s birthday in April 1983. She asked me to take care of my dad, an Aries, because “he wasn’t as tough as he looked.” Last year, in August 2019, my dad began to die on my mother’s birthday; he passed away just a few days later. I was raised in a Grand Trine in Fire house!

For me, a 37-year cycle ended last August, and I was left wondering: what is my karmic work now?

In 1990 and 1991, I was running my own computer consulting business. In 2000 and 2001, I became a full-time astrologer and used the knowledge I’d gained of my earlier business to build my astrology practice. In December of 2007, I was writing for a popular astrology website and publishing a Weekly Weather, New and Full Moon columns, which turned into a whole host of other astrology offerings.

So, here on the threshold of change as the world swirls before us engulfed in an unprecedented pandemic, I’ve figured out what I am supposed to do next! Combining items from the list above, I am going to take care of *you* by offering astrological guidance as we navigate this landscape of change and evolution together.

Some adjectives associated with the word “pandemic” are: widespread, prevalent, pervasive, rampant, universal, and global. Let’s reframe what we are going through as an evolutionary step in our universal and global collective.

We are all in this together! Welcome to the Age of Aquarius! And let’s let the Sun shine in.

On September 12, 1994, I sat in my first astrology class, during my own personal Pluto-square-Pluto and Saturn-conjunct-Moon passages, when Uranus and Neptune were placed right where Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are now.

I was so excited! I thought the entire world should learn astrology to help them navigate their lives, especially through the tough times. If we only learned astrology at age five, like reading and math! We could treat it as a life skill! What a wonderful world it would be! I am gonna do that!

And so I did. I became an astrologer.

Astrologically, we can expect that this dramatic energy of change and evolution will be running for the rest of the year. I know, that’s a long time! Think of it as an opportunity to give birth to yourself. You can’t have nine women pregnant for a month each to get a baby; you have to have one woman pregnant for nine months. We are all, each pregnant now, getting ready for our next chapter, our new life, simultaneously, together. We give birth on December 20, 2020. I know, I know. It’s a LONG time.

To help you through this pregnancy, here are a few offerings of astrology from me to you. Explore them as you wish. Share them with others. We will get through this, together.

First, the 2020 edition of my annual forecast webinar, which I offer at the beginning of each year, is now available to download for free. Click here to access the recordings and slides at no cost.

Review it. It outlines all the peaks and valleys of the year ahead of us. Take notes. Write down the significant that I mentioned. Watch the world on those days. Use astrology as a guide!

Second, my podcasts: The Weekly Weather, The Astrologer and the Alchemist and Access Astrology.

Third, my Twitter feed. I tweet out the aspects in real time as they are happening, several each day, each and every week, to help you navigate the immediate energy of the moment.

Fourth, my monthly New Moon Webinars. The New Moon in Aries on March 24, 2020 promises to be a juicy one, as it squares the Nodes of Fate and triggers the Eclipse from December 26, 2019. (UPDATE: Here’s the link to purchase and download the recordings and slides from the New Moon webinar, MP4 Video, MP3 Audio, and PDF Slides for $17.)

Fifth, Amanda Walsh of Astrology Hub has suggested that we team up to offer weekly YouTube videos about the energies in the heavens. This will be a bit less technical, good for folks who tend to get lost in the language of astrology. You’ll be able to find these videos, and lots of other resources, at www.AstrologyHub.com.

Sixth, my team and I are working on a number of new projects and offerings to be announced soon. Sign up for my mailing list (if you haven’t already!) and keep eyes on my website and Facebook.

We are going through a universal transformation. We will emerge on the other side into a life that will be different from the one we know now. When my clients have Pluto transits, they always say “I never want to go through that again, but I learned SO MUCH! I am changed forever!”

Here’s to the change!

And take extremely good care of yourself.

Big (socially distanced) hugs,
Anne
