Quite a few of you wrote and shared your PIVOT stories…. Whoosh, you suddenly found yourself in a shifted or changed reality. You saw something you had never seen before. You “got it” on a different level. You PIVOTED….
Amanda writes: I am pretty sure I am seeing what this is presenting me with. It appears to be a similar pattern with all new characters around partnership. When something like this is occurring should I make it a point to not repeat my old actions if they weren’t helpful that last time around( that’s what I am feeling intuitively) or do I try and act differently than my normal behavior/ tendencies might be, or do I not act at all and just ride it out?
Annette writes: I realized my pivot: I’m here where I feel I can be my authentic self. When I’m unhappy, I’m reverting to childhood behavior where I was authentic to an extent but always trying to protect myself and needy. OK — so the guidelines now are: whatever I do, I need to make sure I’m being my authentic self. That’s it. I feel so grounded, and it will probably disappear again, but I think I’ll be able to find it as a gold standard more easily now that I’ve named it.
We have a few more days of PIVOTS as Jupiter in Gemini finishes up his year in the sign of too many choices, too little time and too much change. The PIVOTS are designed to help you see yourself and your life in a different way.
Gemini acts like a mirror. In the same way that twins mirror each other and reflect duality but are still each individuals, a mirror shows us ourselves yet reverses the image. It reverses the image so we don’t think about it UNTIL we try to read something. We realize we have to PIVOT to actually see it clearly and be able to read it. As we PIVOT we turn our back on the old image in the mirror to see things in an entirely new way. We realize we were seeing a distorted reality that looked real because we were so used to it.

Mercury stations to go retrograde for 25 days on June 26, 2013 at 09:07:34 am EDT at 23°Cancer. He turns direct on July 20, 2013 at 13° Cancer.
Venus enters Leo on June 27, 2013 at 01:03:20 pm EDT for 25 days.
Zeus stations and turns Direct on June 28 2013 at 11:36:38 am EDT at 14°Libra. You’ll feel like a king even if no one understands what you rule! Relationship harmony returns.
Mars goes out of bounds in the sign of Mirrors, Gemini, on June 29 and slips the tethers, controls and opinions of the Sun until August 3… expect over the top actions! And maybe even some more PIVOTS.

Continue to PIVOT, baby, PIVOT. Turn that mirror into a window and then into a door!
We each have two more weeks to wrap up our old life. Our lives shift dramatically when Jupiter enters Cancer this week on June 25. When Saturn turns direct on July 8 it will be full steam ahead. Keep clearing things out.
Mars goes out of bounds on June 29 until August 4. Ceres is also out of bounds. Mars out of bounds in Gemini, with retrograde Mercury ruling him makes words and actions way over the top, emotional and at the same time very, very true. Examples already are appearing in the news such as Paula Dean fired for her racist remarks. Expect lots of the same until August. Mars is often a wild card when he goes out of bounds as the planet of war, action and sex NOT following the rules can be difficult. Answering to a retrograde Mercury ~ woo-eee~ lots of out of bounds words too. At the same time, like Superman, Mars can leap tall buildings at a single bound when he is out of bounds… he slips the mortal bounds! Depends on your Mars and whether you like or don’t like his behavior. And you can be of two minds too ~ like this but don’t much like that!
Jupiter in the last Degrees of his Detriment sign of Gemini and shifting into Exalted Cancer makes this another big departure week as lots of people will take off rather than dive into the chilly, cooling waters of exalted Cancer. Or take off right AFTER Jupiter dives into Cancer.
Jupiter enters Cancer for a year of Exalted Expansion. Jupiter LOVES being in Cancer. This placement brings about prosperity after the wisdom gained via the death and rebirth process of Jupiter in Gemini. Jupiter is the love of divine power and wisdom~ while he was in the sign of Gemini, Jupiter can distract us into a morass of petty every day details, unable to see the bigger spiritual picture. We learn where we lie and deceive ourselves. We see lies and can be deceived by others. Now as Jupiter enters Cancer, we discover the beauty of mutual nurturing, largesse in giving and receiving, hospitality, food, growth and nutrition. As Raven Kaldera says in his book, Myth Astrology, “Jupiter is royalty and royalty is noble due to their ability to be generous. Cancer understands miserliness and constriction; the negative aspect of any Cancer placement is the crab in her hard shell, nipping at anyone who gets close. Cancer also understands the solution lies in the emotions: it must be overwhelmingly, emotionally positive to be a giver or no one will be moved to do it. If you want to wear Jupiter in Cancer’s crown, you have to hold out your open hand. The applause must go to the giver, not the receiver, because that applause ~ and that feeling of having positively affected the universe ~ is what induces people to give in the first place. Without the positive stimulus of the recipient’s smile of pleased surprise, no one would bother and this would be a miserly and constrictive world.” We are about to learn where and how we can be generous, without a secret agenda of obligation. We are gracious and charitable. Note that “charis” means grace. Mutual nurturing is Jupiter in Cancer’s idea of the best kind of relationship.

Already my house phone is out again~ “System Failure” according to Verizon. I went through two months of this when Mercury was retrograde in Pisces earlier this year! Expect old ghosts to show up and take positions in the key communication sections of your life. The ghosts of nurturing will be appearing as Mercury is in Cancer. You see the ghosts for who they are. Make sure to chat them up and find out why they are stopping by. Double check all communications! Lots of family and sibling energy too!
Venus enters Leo on June 27, 2013 at 01:03:20 pm EDT for 25 days. Ah blessed Venus in Leo is all about FUN! Revisit Cyndi Laupers’ girls just want to have fun. Boys just want to have fun too! We all want to have fun with Venus in Leo! Go back to the things you did in childhood that were FUN. Indulge and play in those activities, evenings, days, feelings, events. Connect back to your inner, playful child of yore. It will help ground and focus your energy for the upcoming Star of David, Grand Sextile, in July, August and September. What else is important but love?

Moon day Monday June 24, 2013 finds Moon in Capricorn going void late at night with an opposition to Venus ~ our nurturing needs are NOT in harmony with our desires right now. Suck it up and feel sad. OR be depressed. Or do some work that needs doing so at least you feel like you accomplished something. Mercury’s square to Eris last night produced troubling dreams with difficult messages. Mercury’s at the degree of his station so this energy is part of what you are going to be working with during his retrograde journey… dissatisfaction often helps us change. Venus is challenged today ~ meeting up with Hades (yes as in hell) and wanting to separate from the group she’s called home for a while. Vesta is arguing with what is the “healthy” thing to do as she opposes Astraea ~ look at what you NORMALLY do when distressed…. Try NOT to do that activity if it is not healthful. Jupiter at his last degree of Gemini is pushing hard for the PIVOT. Or there might be remaining PIVOTS that you need for breakthrough. Think football pile…. You know how the guy tackled and lying on the ground, covering the football, has the rest of the defensive players jump on the pile, crushing him further? That is today and most of tomorrow….it will be over soon. Just hold on. Unfortunately, the folks who USUALLY help you are out of pocket or unable to show up. You’ll be okay. Just PIVOT if you can think while under the pile of opposition players.
Mars Day Tuesday June 25, 2013 finds Moon in Aquarius with a trine to Mars as the closing aspect… the pile starts to lift. Jupiter enters Cancer for a year long journey tonight so today is the last day of major Pivots while he finishes up with Gemini. On rising you might hear difficult emotional news with Mercury opposite Pluto. Or maybe later in the day with Mercury linking with Admetos. This week will have lots of physical departures from earth as Jupiter changes signs from fickle, changing Air to action oriented Water. Venus joins Vulcanus so you can get LOTS of work accomplished today… she’s all fired up and kicking butt in nurturing Cancer. Cancer, energized, is Mama Bear protecting her cub. In this case, she’s focused on creating something sustainable. Mars links up with Jupiter by declination one more time to push the PIVOT energy late afternoon. Jupiter enters Cancer at 9:39 pm EDT. Suddenly you are in a different relationship with the world!
Mercury’s day Wednesday June 26, 2013 finds Moon in Aquarius but void all day. So enjoy your time off from responsibility. Work on projects that need process but avoid starting new ones. Mercury stations retrograde today so you’ll start the backward journey of his until July 20 when he goes direct again. Lots of dynamic dreams where you are the hero or heroine! Make sure to write them down ~ Jupiter is talking to you about your responsibilities for the upcoming year. Pallas has an adjusting aspect with the Nodes of Fate asking you to make PUBLIC and FATED choices today. Give yourself permission to go for the higher version of your vision. You might not know how you are going to get there right now but at least get the idea out into the world. Venus is working out some old relationship wounds with Chiron. Remember the OTHER person has THEIR wounds too. You might have just stomped all over their issue which is why they snapped at you. Stand in your truth, but stand there gently. State your vision of what you would like rather than blame. Sun’s trine to Saturn and Neptune invites us all to ride an early version of the Grand TRINE in WATER as He stepped through the energy of Neptune and Saturn. Jupiter’s day Thursday June 27, 2013 finds Moon in Pisces with a lovely closing trine to Mercury so emotions are clear and expressing themselves…. Sometimes expression is in a backwards manner but still expressing…Look to them for clarity about the underlying issue. Venus enters Leo for 25 days and pushes the creative energy of the Sun forward to define what love is and what she desires to make her feel loved. There has been quite a bit of fickle love lately with Jupiter in Gemini… love that serves MY needs, not necessarily YOUR needs. Jupiter in Cancer knows that we need to ALL feel the love to have it be a good space to grow and thrive. Today you start to negotiate for that GOOD SPACE. It might take a while, but with the vision clear you can start to get there. There can be a drive to take action to grab what you want but it is better to acknowledge the energy for what it is… your Ego drive is clear. Stand in the clarity of what you KNOW you want, not what you FEAR you have to have. Focus on the vision.
Venus’ day Friday June 28, 2013 finds Moon in Pisces with arguing and productive aspects. Jupiter makes a fated and VERY PUBLIC choice today as he aspects the Nodes of Fate on the World Axis, from 0 of the Cardinal axis. (Or maybe yesterday?). You get it now. No turning back. Zeus stations and turns direct at 14 Libra… time to take all the lessons in relationships while Saturn was in Libra the past few years and put them to action. Saturn is going to complain to Mars that you are doing it again… there you go again… Mars lets Saturn know that he is going rogue tomorrow and that HE, MARS, will take care of it while he is out of bounds. And he will. Sun links up with Jupiter by declination inviting you to connect the profound relationship energy of Jupiter with the Sun’s purpose for being on earth. So WHY ARE YOU HERE? What do you want to accomplish in the time you have left on this beautiful ball of blue and green spinning in the great cosmic vacuum of space? How are you going to do that? Get working on the plan!
Saturn’s day Saturday June 29, 2013 Moon in Aries pushes us forward quickly. Moon has a closing aspect of a square to Mercury so the answer might be no but every plan gets revised as it develops so no worries about no. Mars goes out of bounds in the sign of Mirrors, Gemini, on June 29 and slips the tethers, controls and opinions of the Sun until August 3… expect over the top actions! Mars in Gemini is answering to retrograde Mercury in Cancer… leave your comfort zone and try new things, even if you don’t want to. There maybe even some more PIVOTS! Health matters surface yet again, so take care of them. Or make an appointment to take care of them. Venus has a number of stressed aspects so let her worry or fret a bit. She’s trying to change some mighty old ways of doing things. While it is a GREAT idea, there is resistance. Figure out the motivation of the people involved and pitch to that. Incremental rather than giant leap changes. However with Mars out of bounds, YOU are in the mood for bigger changes… make them in your personal space and life instead of asking the other to make them in their life. They will only change if they want to.
Sun’s day Sunday June 30, 2013 finds Moon in Fire Aries in the mood to pick fights and argue. I have a few friends with Moon in Aries ~ they get completely crazy and wild on Aries Moons, picking fights, arguing and ending relationships. We can look at their behavior to guide the rest of us to appreciate the fire in our bellies too! Today Aries Moon aspects Sun, Pluto and Uranus ~ great energy for clearing all sorts of things out ~ however it happens while we sleep so expect some wild dreams or crazy night action. The Nodes station asking us about our forward motion, even as retrograde Mercury brings us ghosts from our past. Hades links up with Black Moon Lillith ending, in a difficult and rather dark manner relationships that need to leave our life. Thank them and bless them for what they taught you. Then like, Lot and his family did, turn and walk away. Don’t look back or you will turn into a pillar of salt. Allow yourself to have a new kind of nurturing as Venus joins with Ceres. You don’t need that difficult energy in your life any more. Sure, it is familiar. But it is difficult. So let it go. Make a decision to partner with something or someone who supports where you want to go with your life. You can do it. Turn that mirror into a window. Then wave your hand, yet again and turn that window into a door… open the door and walk forward toward your new life… off you go. Partner with a new pattern.
