Weekly Weather July 1, 2013
We have one more week to wrap up our old life. Some of our lives shifted dramatically when Jupiter entered Cancer last week on June 25. This week we can expect more shifts around our relationships and connections. Or pivots if you prefer. Next week, when Saturn turns direct on July 8, we shift again. We’ll pivot towards our future with the lessons learned since Mid-November 2012 under our belt. Saturn’s station says that we are finished with the life changes for the time being. After next week it will be full steam ahead! Keep clearing things out this week… it is a releasing and clarifying week. Next week, we, riding Saturn, rocket forward until March 2, 2014…building and building our new life. So finish things up now so you are packed and ready to go.
Last week, we saw the extreme difference between Jupiter in Gemini, his detriment and watched how moving into Cancer, his exaltation, changes things. Jupiter changed signs on June 25 at 9:40 pm. Unfortunately, the law that was up for a vote in New York State on Women’s rights, including sex trafficking, failed in the legislature due to an abortion feature. It died during Jupiter in Gemini. When will old, white Republican Men keep their fingers out of Women’s uterus? On Monday and Tuesday, the Supreme Court kicked a case about race as a factor in college admissions back for a do-over. More importantly, the Supreme Court gutted the 1965 Civil Rights Voting Act. This happened as Jupiter in the last degrees of Gemini. Gemini ~ two reversals of laws designed to eliminate the separate treatment of races ~ Gemini divides things into dual layers of treatment. Cain and Able ~ brothers fighting.
Then, we watched the Texas legislature’s attempt to close every low cost family planning and abortion clinic in the state and redraw the voting districts, thwarted by Wendy Davis. Wendy Davis started a filibuster at 11 am Tuesday and talked through the shift of Jupiter into Cancer. At a few minutes before midnight, the Texas legislature attempted to push through a vote resulting in a yes we did, no we didn’t have a vote moment. The witnessing people in the balcony roared so loudly the actual vote was not taken. Ms. Davis’ filibuster was successful, for the moment. It certainly drew attention to the state. The governor of Texas, who has personally signed the death warrants that killed 281 people since taking office, held forth that every life is precious as he insulted Wendy Davis and called another special session of the legislature.
Then, on Wednesday, with Jupiter in Cancer, as Mercury stationed, and the first of the grand trines in Water formed, the Supreme Court extended the 1,000 federal civil rights offered to married citizens to ALL the citizens of the country if they were legally married in their state. It declared the Defense of Marriage Act expressly discriminatory and struck down Proposition 8 in California. Cancer supports the structure and stability of the nuclear family, regardless of sexual orientation or form. If you are of my tribe, you get to have my stuff. If you are my family, you are my family. Once you are “in” with a Cancer, you are “in their family” forever ~ no escaping it. Whether you are talking the Godfather’s family or your own family of choice, now if you are married, your spouse can inherit your stuff and not pay exorbitant taxes on it as well as 999 other benefits.
We can expect Jupiter in Cancer to continue to work his magic ALL SUMMER long as he trines Saturn and Neptune. The formation of a grand trine of these three planets is quite rare ~ the last time was September 1966 and before that January 1929 and July 1834. Jupiter just makes things bigger and juicy and better. Once Saturn turns direct and they link up with Neptune the planet of dreams, we will have an enormous whoosh forward with our energy and lives. Sun forms another Grand Trine to Chiron on July 5 2013 at 09:01:35 am EDT and then trines the Nodes of Fate on July 7 2013 at 00:04:12 am EDT offering emotional healing that moves you forward toward your future. Shed tears and whatever needs to be released. Shake it loose!
Vesta enters Leo on July 6 2013 at 05:56:55 am EDT until September 9. You find a new home for your heart! Or create the home of your heart’s desire over the next few months.
Venus breaks free as she Trines Uranus on July 7 2013 at 08:13:52 pm EDT as an enormous weight is lifted from her heart and yours.

Continue to PIVOT, baby, PIVOT. As we draw closer to Saturn’s shifting directions in the sky, we can find enormous crystalline clarity in what we are seeing and understanding. Pivot!
Mars is out of bounds until August 4. Ceres is also out of bounds. Mars out of bounds in Gemini, with retrograde Mercury ruling Mars makes words and actions way over the top, emotional and at the same time very, very true. Each time the Moon changes signs, he acts like the Moon. So on Sunday and Monday, Mars out of bounds answered to Aries Moon so people were exceptionally volatile and in the mood to “fight” as Aries like to fight. Tuesday and Wednesday, Moon is exalted in Taurus so expect stubbornness, cuddliness, sensuality and good food. Watch the Moon change signs and see Mars shift his behavior until he gets out of Cancer on August 27th. Right now, Mars is in Gemini so we have a long and emotionally reactive summer ahead of us. Mars is a wild card when he goes out of bounds as the planet of war, action and sex NOT following the rules can be difficult. He won’t be following the rules until August 4 when he comes back in bounds. Mars is answering to a retrograde Mercury ~ woo-eee~ lots of out of bounds misunderstanding around words too. At the same time, like Superman, Mars can leap tall buildings at a single bound when he is out of bounds… he slips the mortal bounds! Depends on your Mars and whether you like or don’t like his behavior. And you can be of two minds too ~ like this but don’t much like that! It is an out of bounds MONTH with Mars.
Saturn is stationing at 4:49 Scorpio: While Saturn’s station is technically NEXT week, July 7, we feel the tension buildup 5 to 7 days before ~ which means this week we are working with a stopped Saturn. He’s back to the degree of mid-November 2012, around the 14th . Saturn’s been moving backwards since February 19, 2013. Any kinds of shifts you made to the structure of your life on those dates are up for review and reassessment. Once Saturn starts to move forward next week, it is full steam ahead. He expects that you’ve made all the needed changes and adjustments in your life. This week will hold MANY major adjustments for people as we start to work on and build our new reality next week. Saturn stations often mark critical moment in health matters and tend to encourage people who are teetering on the edge of life or choices to make the transition.
Venus is taking it on the chin all week as she has difficult aspects with Saturn, Pluto, and Neptune until she finally breaks free and dances off with Uranus. Love, desire and money is NOT happy this week. Our relationships are stressed because Venus is stressed. You can’t always get what you want. So try to focus on what you CAN do or get.
Mercury is retrograde until July 20, 2013 after going retrograde last week on June 26, 2013. Double, triple and quadruple check all communications. Connect with people from earlier times in your life ~ especially between ages 13 and 23. Expect old ghosts to show up and talk about your earlier life. This is a great time for family reunions, trips with family members, connections with those who nurture you. Make sure to chat up any and all ghosts from your past. Find out why they are stopping by. Lots of family and sibling energy too!
Vesta enters Leo offering us an opportunity to change all the vessels that house us until after Labor Day~ the vessel can be your home, office, car or even your physical body. It is a great time to laugh, sing and envision what you want your life to be like. Adorn yourself. Adore yourself. Decorate the spaces that sustain and support you so they reflect who you really are about to become.

Monday Moon’s Day July 1, 2013 finds Moon in Aries, Void most of the day. Venus squares Saturn today so our needs are NOT being met. It just is NOT working the way that we want it to work. It is time to end, shift or adjust to get what you want. Sun Opposes Pluto today and moves slowly through the Uranus / Pluto square to form a t-square over the next few days when Sun squares Uranus on July 4 2013. Sun is able to see how we are being asked to evolve and where we are stuck, perhaps quite stuck, due to emotional reasons. Don’t feed the stuckness. Allow other possibilities. Triangles abound today. We are helped to see the evolution we’ve been working with clearly if a bit emotionally…these are difficult yet clarifying aspects. Stay with the energy even if it is difficult! There is a payoff for pushing through it slowly and methodically. Mercury requests your help in being gentle with yourself. Venus has an inconjunct to Neptune that makes her very sensitive to the loss of the dream or the hope. While THAT dream might not be turning out the way you wanted it to, there WILL be a new dream on the other side of next week. So hold a bit of hope. Practice releasing.
Tuesday Mars Day July 2, 2013 finds Moon in Taurus with positive closing aspects of a sextile to Mercury retrograde… renegotiate your positions. After a mighty restless night of not much sound sleep, you awaken to deep pushes of energy against nothing. Might be a good day to stay in bed or connect with folks you don’t normally see. Mercury is retrograde after all. House hold and physical space clearing is quite possible…throw it out if you don’t love it.
Wednesday Mercury’s day July 3, 2012 finds Moon in Taurus and void during the afternoon and evening. Moon has closing aspects of a sextile to Mercury offering conclusions and answers to situations that seem past solving. Mars is incredibly stimulated by his sister Eris the Goddess of Discord. He flies off into the heavens, out of bounds, creating pivots and ah ha moments and lots of discord and discontent. You see it clearly now even if you are NOT happy about it. Saturn Squares Ceres and is putting enormous stress on how we nurture and take care of ourselves. It just isn’t working the way it used to work. Health matters can suddenly take a turn for the worst. You might be invited to go but you don’t really want to go. You don’t want to do much of anything as nothing feels quite right. Saturn’s upcoming station next week starts to dig in as he’s slowed to a stop. Saturn’s forming a stressful aspect to Pallas… is it the same fight AGAIN? Maybe it will never change. Can you deal with that reality? If not, how can YOU change as the situation clearly is NOT changing.
Thursday Jupiter’s day July 4, 2013 Happy Birthday America and a birthday memorial for my Uncle Cliff. Moon in Gemini offers a day of connection, conversation and relations with siblings and family. Venus is contraparallel Pluto and aspecting Admetos putting and requiring enormous stress on relationships, desires and love. Things like unstable relationships or friendships with problems can fracture and separate permanently under this energy. It isn’t that you don’t love them, you just can’t do it. Tired, exhausted or changed, you or they are just not that into it any more. Sun’s square to Uranus offers wild and crazy dreams tonight which also help set you free and allow you to see things shifting and changing. The crazy energy carries forward into the day as Sun finishes and exits the t-square started on Monday with Sun’s opposition to Pluto. These are profound energies asking us to redo our lives, our innards and our vision of what can be for us. Neptune and Pallas encourage us to look at the situations that are not supporting our emotional or creative needs as they harshly aspect Ceres out of bounds. Where once it was fine, the situation isn’t fine any more. Pivots are possible. Can you change HOW you interact with them to preserve the positive parts of the relationship and adjust it OR do you need to communicate in a different way? Are the forces REALLY that diametrical or is some compromise possible? Mercury retrograde will attempt to negotiate new communications about old patterns ~ try and express it in a different manner. Give it a whirl. You can always change your mind later.
Friday Venus’ day July 5, 2013 find Moon in Gemini ~ checking and double checking on the f lip flops of your heart. Moon has a closing aspect of a conjunction to Mars so yesterday and today’s events activate that out of bound Mars in Gemini to DO SOMETHING! Sun finished up his Grand Trine between Chiron by trining the Nodes of Fate. Often some of our more life halting or hating choices are made out of our wounded space. We get dumped so we resolve to never love again. We are the “smart” one, not the pretty one so we don’t see our own beauty. We have a big Mars with a large drive or aggressive sexual nature and are criticized by those who have a different approach (and a smaller or different Mars) so we think there is something “wrong” with us. Today, take that Wound caused by being different or unwanted or not loved the way you wanted and look at all the positive stuff it gave you. Now, remember the person who told you that is ONE PERSON on a planet of BILLIONS. Go find your people. Find folks who appreciate you. Appreciate YOURSELF! Just because THEY don’t appreciate you, doesn’t mean you have to agree with them. There is an opportunity for an emotional healing that moves you forward toward your future. Shed tears and whatever needs to be released. Shake it loose! No more not appreciating yourself! Mercury’s aspect with Neptune offers a creative breakthrough of your thoughts (OR an emotional breakthrough). Venus wants to have fun and Pluto is being a bit of a stick in the mud so take her out dancing and leave Pluto home. No more bizarre power games either!
Saturday Saturn’s day July 6, 2013 finds Moon void most of the day in Gemini and entering Cancer in the early evening. Vesta enters Leo on July and helps clarify and create a loving home. While Vesta is in Leo until early September, you understand how your heart is reflected in your home. Look around your house to remove piles of clutter or things that no longer represent the life you want for yourself. Find or create a new home for your heart that reflects your visions of what you want your life to become! What does the art on your walls reflect about you? What do the books on your shelf say to observers about your interests? One of my clients, while working out a difficult emotional situation, took all the pictures off her walls. It helped her see her home and space in a new light. You see the patterns in your groups and family relationships that created the life you have now. Change those patterns to support the new vision you are developing for your life. Moon links up with Mars and Jupiter to accelerate the emotional and underlying changes in your life. As Mars is out of bounds and Jupiter is Cardinal you can use the energy to cause huge changes in your home and emotions. Shed and release.
Sunday Sun’s day July 7, 2013 finds Moon in sensitive and emotional Cancer with closing aspects of a conjunction to Mercury offering reversals of feelings. Sun formed a trine to Chiron on July 5 2013 and now he trines the Nodes of Fate to offer you an opportunity for emotional healing. The healing moves you forward toward your future. Shed tears and then shed whatever else needs to be released. Shake it loose! Moon rolls a pile of emotions today. First, your dreams last night were wild and crazy. Later in the day, the Moon echoes the Sun’s difficult passage earlier in the week as she opposes Pluto and squares Uranus. The energy encourages awareness even if it isn’t the most easy. Venus breaks free as she trines Uranus and an enormous weight seems to be lifted from your heart. If you take the approach that everything in your life serves a purpose, you look at the events, both difficult and easy, from the perspective of what you learn or how it serves your illumination, understanding and soul’s growth. As my friend Tania says “Bless it. Just Bless it and release it.” As Tania was right about vegetables tasting better at room temperature, she’s probably right about this too! So thank it and bless it and release it. Pallas allows you to see the patterns that contribute to the problem and how to resolve them. Bless and release. Bless and release.
