One of our favorite astrologers and tarot readers, the blind bonsai gardener Geoff Allison passed into the light on July 3, 2014. He was found dead at his home after he failed to attend a Fourth of July brunch with a friend. According to the medical examiner, Geoff died of a sudden massive heart attack. Dead before he hit the ground, he didn’t suffer. His death transits are quite lovely! The current Sun Pluto opposition in the sky set off his natal Sun Pluto opposition and stimulated his Uranus in Cancer with Solar Arc Jupiter on it in the 8th house of dead. That configuration promises a sudden (Uranus), massive (Jupiter) event (heart attack) that kills (8th house, Pluto opposite his Sun) at home (Cancer). Geoff was a regular attending member of the Access Astrology community. He was a brilliant, funny, larger than life personality as befits his Sagittarius Rising and Moon. We are sure he’s already at work setting up an irrigation system in heaven to improve the bonsai gardens there. We’ve heard there will be a memorial service in September. We’ll let you know the arrangements when we know them.
Okay we are coming into the final pass of what do you want to do with your life? You have the next two weeks and then WHOOSH everything starts to move forward at supersonic speed. It is that whole crossroads of your life ~ which way to go? what to choose?
The changes they are a coming! The changes they are a coming! As befits all the dual energy in the heavens we face and are asked to make choices because the personal planets Mercury, Venus and Mars in double signs of “Do you want this or that?” Some folks are rocking along and loving rolling around in this turbulent energy. They are Skipping Right Through Life ~ last week’s theme continued into this week and next. They are the “shoppers” among us ~ chose one of these, one of those, one of the other thing over there. No worries, just choosing and then implementing. Keep on picking your choices if that is how this energy is working for you…
On the other hand, some other folks are not having as much fun. Similar to Monty Hall’s Let’s Make a Deal ~ these folks are feeling frozen ~ trying to decide between keeping what they have or choosing what is unknown, hiding behind Door Number 1. I always hated that show! Monty, joined by the lovely Carol Merrill, urging you to pick already, pick, pick, pick. Then Monty would sweeten the deal with $500and the contestant would have anxiety. Then he’d add $100s to it… such stress! It was the 60s and $500 was a lot of money! I always felt sorry for the contestants ~ they looked so nervous! And when they picked a bad deal and got the donkey, it was hard to watch.
Remember, this is YOUR LIFE…. Not an episode of Let’s Make a Deal. No Monty Hall to add $500 to the pot… just you looking at your choices and trying to figure out what to do next. Not so much fun at times like this. However, in the moment of choice, the eye of the hurricane, the silent space in our soul, we face a limitless array of possibilities if we can widen our eyes to see expanse, listen with our ears to hear the offers and open our hearts to welcome them new options in.
On the other side, it IS YOUR LIFE!! You have to make the choices. You get to do what you want to do with your life….

Sun goes from 14:21 to 20:04 Cancer. Sun sets off the eclipse energy from April as he squares Uranus on Tuesday. He forms a lovely, emotional and healing grand trine with Chiron and Saturn over the course of the week. It actually is a kite ~ with Pallas in Virgo ~ the pattern seer ~ at the apex of the kite. Be gentle with yourself and others. You are where you are. You can change where you are if you don’t like it. Allow for the possibility of growth and expansion. Gentle, gentle, gentle.
Mercury stations and turns direct this week, on July 1 at 8:49 am EDT. He travels from 25:24 Gemini to 0:0 Cancer. Mercury works with Pluto, Uranus and Jupiter this week offering them important information around choices. He gets on the action oriented world axis over the weekend making your choices public and well known. Expect to be confounded!
Venus goes from 15:29 to 22:40 Gemini. Moving rapidly, our Gal Pal rolls through and forms a Focused Finger of God in the Heavens with Saturn, Uranus and Pallas. She is pretty irritated at the beginning of the week. She is NOT in the mood to commit early in the week ~ she feels she has too many choices. She is arguing with everybody – in a pleasant, delightful, flirty, and flirtatious way. At the end of the week, she gets down to business and actually CHOOSES what she wants (kind of ~ she is in Gemini after all) Her July 13 aspects to the Nodes of Fate promise relationship or financial action of a significant sort over the weekend.
Mars is active this week. He moves from 20:38 to 23:18 Libra. He aspects the Nodes twice ~ July 11 and July 13 ~ making your choices fated. His aspects mean you are operating with a bit of a bag over your head. No it is not clear and yes you do have to choose. So choose toward the best option and go for it. No regrets! You start a new creative project on July 12! Maybe even a relationship?
Jupiter ends a situation in his life on July 10. He moves from 27:48 to 29:08 Cancer.

Pluto is exerting enormous pressure on partnerships as he asks you to adjust via his inconjunct to Juno on July 8. He’s going from 12:14 to 12:05 Capricorn. He’s back at the degrees of the Eclipses from April, inviting you to use all the information you’ve received since last November and figure out how you want to transform and change your life. Because he’s in a structural sign, this may involve physical moving of house, office, or environment, to accommodate a new chapter in life.
Chiron is in a Grand Water Trine this week inviting deep emotional healing! Chiron opposes Pallas helping you see the patterns and behaviors you do that are wounding to your self!
Pallas is using Eris to point out patterns on July 9 and 12. Pay attention to what you see and notice. Don’t take it as criticism. Take it as helpful observations.
Ceres gets into a fight with Eris ~ watch for envy or jealousy to flare up July 11 and 13. The nurturing and caretaking principle is irritated. If you’ve been taking care of them so they will take care of you ~ you are not going to be appreciated this week. Feel the envy and own it ~ it is a useful emotion if used properly as an impetus to go for what you want.
Vesta gets into a fight with Eris ~ watch for envy or jealousy to flare up July 10 and 11. She makes an important choice about home and hearth on July 13.
Juno is quiet about relationships this week after her argument with Pluto at the beginning of the week…watch for triangle energy that affects your choices. Of course the REST of the heavens are gobsmacked…

The Capricorn Cancer Full Moon answers back to the opening New Moon on January 11, 2013 and the First Quarter on October 11, 2013 at the same degrees of Capricorn. We see the story clearly now. Think back to January 2013, last Winter and the area you wanted to grow and change in your life regarding commitment, relationships (include your parent’s relationships as we watch them as our guides ~ for good or bad instructions). Think back to last October 2013 and the decisions you made about relationships, commitments and connections. Now, as the Full Moon opens and brightens up our heavens this week during the nights, we see the results of our choices or actions from those lunations. Capricorn Moon always echoes the issues of Saturn in our lives…Saturn was at age 10 and 3 months in the January Moon, 11 and 3 months in the October Moon . Now Saturn is at 16 and 9 months. Think back on those ages and what was going on in your life and your family of origin. Apply that memory of time to now and you can work productively with the Full Moon energy.
The Full Moon has a preponderance of cardinal planets encouraging us to take action and get moving. Additionally, there is a Cardinal cross involving 12 of the planets in the sky ~ action, action, action! Moon, Uranus, South Node, Midheaven (chart cast for Washington, DC), Eris, Sun, Jupiter, Mars, Vesta, Ceres and North Node…. These planets are all about what your ego (Sun) wants to create to serve its evolution….Just hop on and have a great ride!
The Grand Trine in Water between Sun, Saturn and Chiron offers us an opportunity for emotional healing OR extreme emotional reactions to situations in our life. There are Four Fingers of God suggesting we need to make fated choices in our life under this Full Moon. The Fingers involve what we partner with (Juno), our life patterns (Pallas), our need for chaos, change and excitement(Uranus), our need for structure, karma and commitment (Saturn) and our need for evolution, power and triangles (Pluto). So a Finger of God involving 3 of the big planets ~ Saturn, Uranus and Pluto ~ combined with our patterns and our relationships promises a rocking, socking and wild Full Moon! Because the Finger of God is so concentrated, it actually forms kind of a cosmic pinball machine in the heavens ~ called a Double Yod Key ~ which opens our life to being ejected (or having the door opened) to the next chapter.
There are two kites which gently fly us to where we are going ~ both have the Grand Trine in Water as their base. One has Pallas Athena as the head of the kite ~ see the patterns that result in your emotional responses (as well as how you can work with them) as she is in Productive Virgo… ready to fix, organize and do if you tell her what you want. The other head of the Kite is the Capricorn Moon ~ taking us back through the past year of how we’ve worked with our emotions to change situations and evolve.

Commentary: ‘A Relay Race’ is an image of people working together as a team. They are endeavoring to finish a ‘Race’ and to win a victory, often for some higher cause other than their own personal glory. This can be for their school, nation or ideals. As this is a ‘Relay Race’, they take turns running and pass the baton to another when the moment is right.
Oracle: You may sense that the end is in sight and victory achievable, but you’ll probably realize that you are only one member of a team, with your own special task to perform. It is a wide, wide world. We often forget that there are other options and only focus on what is right in front of our nose. Expand your options, consider your choices. Nodes work with Sedna bringing up deep feelings from the emotionally abandoned place inside of you. Allow yourself to express that feeling space. Pallas and Eris actually help each other out ~ watch for envy or jealousy and head right toward it… name it and defang it. A magical time to shift energy into a productive format. Think about how you would LIKE to write your story rather than what was written or how you hold onto those limiting beliefs. Today there is an overdoing energy that is delicious if wild and over the top. Jupiter at the last degrees of Cancer excited the Sagittarius Moon to take you on an emotional journey about your life. Dreams wake you up with a start and help you solve a problem that’s been nagging at the edges of your consciousness. The Overdoing aspect forms a Kite that will carry us forward into the next chapter of our life. Lots of energy today as Capricorn Moon sets off the Cardinal cross one more time ~ in a somber way. Dreams are very vibrant. Expect arguments midday as Moon squares Mars ~ you might have to walk away or change the plan. Keep pushing for the dream BELOW the plan.
