Weekly Weather September 30, 2013
It will be a powerful and deeply emotional week. We continue to adjust our underpants but add in a realization of how our underpants GOT that way. We come to an understanding that everything, EVERY SINGLE THING in our life, has a lifespan. Everything eventually disintegrates, dies or needs to be thrown away or adjusted, even our favorite underpants.
This week the underpants adjusting energy perfects and completes. For those of you who wondered about the aspect ~ it is Saturn in Scorpio inconjunct Uranus in Aries ~ Scorpio rules those private parts and the structures underneath (underpants). Inconjuncts are adjusting aspects. Uranus in Aries is frisky things moving around and about independent of your body’s preference. We stop adjusting our underpants on Monday by parallel and Saturday by aspect. Adjust your underlying structures to support your life.
We also meet up with Nemesis. There is a new Moon in Libra which aspects Nemesis so we see her clearly. Nemesis was the Greek goddess of retributive justice. She inflicts vengeance and is often seen as a formidable and usually victorious rival or opponent who punishes hubris. Castigator and chastiser, her job is to be vigilant and swoop in on her wings with her apple branch, lash or sword in hand to dispense what is due.
From the internet: NEMESIS was the goddess of indignation against, and retribution for, evil deeds and undeserved good fortune. She was a personification of the resentment aroused in men by those who committed crimes with apparent impunity, or who had inordinate good fortune. Nemesis directed human affairs in such a way as to maintain equilibrium. Her name means she who distributes or deals out. Happiness and unhappiness were measured out by her, care being taken that happiness was not too frequent or too excessive. If this happened, Nemesis could bring about losses and suffering.
The word Nemesis originally meant the distributor of fortune, neither good nor bad, simply in due proportion to each according to what was deserved; then, nemesis came to suggest the resentment caused by any disturbance of this right proportion, the sense of justice which could not allow it to pass unpunished.
Recently, in New York City, we had a Mayoral primary. The New York Times did a short video documentary on Christine Quinn titled “Hers to Lose”. Christine was the clear front runner for months. She would be the first Female and (out) Gay Mayor. Four years ago, she went against the twice expressed will of New York voters on term limits. She voted to change the term limit law. That change gave both Mayor Bloomberg and herself four more years in office. She voted to make an exception to the term limit law, which apparently averted problems with the short tempered billionaire Mayor, preserved his support and extended her own job. See Hubris. She lost, decisively, in the primary election, receiving only 9% of the vote. Repeatedly, in the New York Times documentary, people walk up to her to say they were NOT voting for her because of the Term Limit Shenanigans. She lost MY vote because of it. Watching the video, you could tell Ms Quinn didn’t understand WHY the voters were still so very angry about term limits. Nemesis visited Christine Quinn. The sense of justice of Nemesis could not allow the term limit changes to pass unpunished.

The Goddess Nemesis will be very active this week and next. Watch for her to balance the hubris in the world Watch the ongoing craziness in Congress over the budget involving the laying off of Federal employees to stop the health care legislation. Nemesis will be there! Watch for Nemesis to surface in your life if areas need to be balanced or are not in right relationship to what is deserved or earned.
If YOU get balanced or adjusted by Nemesis, thank her for her wisdom. Understand your role in the situation so it doesn’t have to happen again. If you know someone who is balanced or adjusted by Nemesis, encourage them to understand what needed to be shifted to be in right relationship, to be restored to equilibrium and balance.
The Week’s Planetary Highlights
The Grand Trine in emotional water breaks up, ending the Star of David. We still have the earth Grand Trine with Pluto, the South Node, Ceres and Vesta asking us to make changes in our homes, bodies, diet and environment to support our new direction.
Mercury enters his retrograde shadow in Scorpio on October 1, 2013. Pay attention to the communication, car, connections, paper or sibling stories appearing in the next three weeks. These will be your retrograde journey between October 21 and November 11, resolving on November 27. We have a powerful Mercury retrograde in Scorpio ahead which will quiz us about we’ve learned with Saturn since last October!
The Grand Trine in Earth and the Mystic Rectangle encourage each of us to put down firm and clear boundaries, state our ideas with authority and move towards, using solid actions, the vision of the life we want.
Saturn is building to an inconjunct with Uranus which perfects by declination on October 2 and by degree on Saturday October 5, 2013 … Adjust. Adjust. Adjust those underpants as well as the underlying structures of your life that need a good tweak or twerk or two..
Sun aspects and forms a Cardinal Cross with two outer planets in the powerful Cardinal T-Square exposing your ego to illumination, breakthroughs and power struggles. When Sun squares Pluto and opposes Uranus, expect him to acquire more consciousness. Jupiter is next week.

Saturn is fast approaching the degree of his station early in the year. Back on February 19th, Saturn stationed at 11:32 Scorpio. Imagine Saturn turning to you over the next few weeks to ask you what you’ve learned. Saturn looks you square in the eye like Sella does below. What have you learned about relationships? New Moon at 11:56 Libra
The New Moon Sabian Image is Miners emerging from a Deep Coal Mine. You’ve been mucking about in the deep, dark spaces of your being since last October. What have you learned from your excavations into and around your psyche? What treasure are you carrying to the surface of your consciousness.

Commentary: ‘Miners Are Emerging From a Deep Coal Mine’. They’ve been working hard, and the now siren has sounded and their shift is finished. Coming back to the surface, they can take a deep breath and feel themselves infused with fresh energy. Even if the Sun is going down at the end of the day, it and fresh air can bring a new awareness and wonder at being alive. The ‘Miners’ are free for now and finished with the day’s work.
Oracle: It may feel as though you’ve been operating in the dark, or in some kind of underworld. When we’ve been submerged in work, deep issues or spaces for a long time, we often end up feeling suppressed and worn-out. Thoughts and emotions can be clouded with doubt and fear making them difficult to plumb or discover. You may feel like you have been in some kind of hell, perhaps you’ve had to go into the depths in the search for something. A feeling of breathlessness can erupt from not being able to understand what’s happening. Take a deep breath and learn to relax! Delving deeply can bring messages from the subconscious that reveal some surprising things. However, it is often not enough to merely find the message; there’s also a need to bring any realizations into the clear light of day so that you, and others, can benefit from this passage and learn to breathe more freely. Imagine coming back to the surface, taking a deep breath and feeling yourself infused with the energy of fresh air and the sun. Look carefully at situations, for it may take time for your eyes to adjust to the new light. Even if you need to go back within, into the ‘Deep Coal Mine’ in the near future, having faith and acceptance of being able to operate and see in “the dark” will assist you with any problems you may encounter. If you are ‘Emerging’ with others, this can lead to a ‘Deep’ sense of camaraderie, as people realize that they’ve been through the same straights and have come out okay.

Moon Day Monday September 30, 2013 Moon is in Leo and goes void with a square to Venus emphasizing creativity and a new approach to things even as fights over money and value take place. Venus is quite active today so money and relationships are at the forefront of discussions. Venus is parallel Pluto so try not to have power plays around money as later in the week they will be problematic. Seek compromise and understanding about and around how old patterns and approaches aren’t working for you anymore. Take a new approach. Dreams are a bit troubled or stress filled. Notice what you encounter in conversations today to help clarify what needs to be said to others in your life. The universe is echoing and inspiring ideas. Chiron points out how old patterns seem to repeat, repeat, repeat themselves. Allow for adjustments to take place. You don’t have to do this anymore. And if someone goes ballistic on you, back yourself up and walk away. Early in the morning there is a strong relationship energy that can be put to good use. Uranus trines Pallas towards the end of the day and pushes us over the edge into new ideas we hadn’t thought of before. It is a brilliant thing. Venus is VERY irritated by the end of the day as she argues with Eris about power dynamics that are overused and unnecessary. Sun has adjusting aspects to the Nodes of Fate, bringing about a fated moment or choice. Choose wisely as Nemesis is paying attention. Avoid Hubris!

Mercury connects with the Nodes of Fate, encouraging connections. Watch the contents of your dreams for guidance. Mercury enters his shadow for the upcoming Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. Saturn is contraparallel Ceres indicating an end to nurturing or finality to a family matter. The end is here. Sun squares Kronos so you approach the matter with delicacy but a deep understanding that things are shifting. Irritation can arise out of virtually any encounter today. Mercury trine’s Neptune so you can see or understand a situation that you were not clear about before. In fact, you can be quite inspired by it. Sun is in the mood to argue with just about anyone or anything. Libra Sun is often compassionate and seeks balance in relationship. Today it is about creativity that calls and inspires as Sun looks across the equator at Uranus. Seek the creative, inspired and approachable ways to make things work. Moon trines Pluto and sextiles Saturn so yesterday dramas seem much more workable today. Virgo Moon approaches situations with the intention of serving process and improving procedures. Allow for a shift in how you do things to take place inside. Dreams are particularly active tonight. Mercury and Venus are in intense negotiations. Communicate what you want and are looking for. It is a good day for meeting someone who will be in your life for a while, making a positive impact. There is an opportunity for healing words to help resolve a situation that has been festering for a while now. Mercury’s mid-day square to Juno suggests you can find a better partner or situation that makes you happy. Allow the current situation to walk out of your life if they are threatening. Right before bed you get a huge burst of energy to take action or have an argument. Mercury wants to get it right and so do you. Would you rather be right or be happy?

After a shocking breakthrough this morning, you clarify what is going on and get a great deal accomplished. Don’t be startled by the news you hear. On some level, you knew it was coming. On another level, now that you know, you can do something about it and be proactive instead of reactive or passively waiting. Sun is super busy today seeking to express his position on many topics. Quite a few topics, Sun is going to disagree about. On the important ones, he is Very, VERY clear. Stand in your truth. Don’t back down. Hades stations today and encourages each of us to clean up our own little version of hell.
Venus’s day, Friday October 4, 2013, Moon is in Libra and goes void sextile to Mars. We have a New Moon that invokes the Goddess Nemesis for balancing and retribution if needed. Mars is quite active and a bit irritated with the whole power play business. Yes, it is fine to know your position. Today Libra Moon joins the Sun to form a cross in the heavens. Moon traces Sun’s steps and passes him. All week long you’ve been bouncing back and forth between knowing what to do and wanting to bail on the whole deal. You can’t bail out now. Salvage what you can. Adjust your direction. Take the lessons of history and move yourself forward. Your history and the history of the people around you is prominent today. We all are composed of our stories ~ the ones we tell each other and ourselves over and over. Today, try giving that story a different ending. Change the story you tell yourself and others.
Saturn’s day Saturday October 5, 2013 Moon goes void sextile to Mars at 06:28:54 pm EDT. Earlier in the day, Moon in Libra has pleasant and productive working aspects. Saturn’s inconjunct to Uranus last night could have produced restless dreams. Saturn perfects the adjusting energy to finish the last tweak of the underpants. You are clear. You know what you want to do. Now it is a matter of doing it. Numerous health aspects today make it a great day to do a cleanse, start a health regime or take a new approach to fitness and diet. Mercury connects with the Nodes of Fate so you can meet an important someone today. Make sure to take notes and gather data. Lots of energy around shifting directions. Mars has a stressful aspect to Pluto in the morning so things feel a bit out of control and angry. There can be too much of a good thing in the later afternoon ~ watch for overspending or overdoing or over something. Hedonism. Nemesis is paying attention. Fairly dramatic health issues can appear towards the end of the day. Don’t fool around. Go to the doctor or hospital immediately.
Sun’s day Sunday October 6, 2013 Moon enters Scorpio at 04:33:44 am EDT. Moon’s closing aspect is a square to Mars inspiring emotional actions that are fairly active and far reaching in their impact. Subservience is NOT on the agenda today. People are not in the mood to put up with being told what they have to do. Venus is particularly aggressive and active today, with numerous aspects. It is about what is possible for her to accomplish. Moon in Scorpio sets off the Grand Trine in water as it moves through the early degrees. There is much emotional about today~ feelings, ideas, impressions. All viewed and deeply felt, the emotions help clarify where you are. Sun encourages you to see and change your patterns to support what your heart wants to create. No subservience. Clarity of purpose. Sovereignty. What do you want? How can you move toward it? Venus is very soft right now so allow her to whisper her dreams in your ear. At the end of the day, she gets a bit more stern ~ but she needs to be. Mercury’s sextile to Pluto at the end of the day is firm speech about a problem area. Mercury’s had enough of the drama so he’s going to run a different story line the next time he and you meet up. Change your story, change your life. Or at least modify your interpretation of your story to change your life.
