Weekly Weather November 27, 2006
The week ahead delivers a good news/bad news message. The good news is you figure something important out. The bad news is now that you have figured it out, you have to DO something about it! And, of course, the bad news means you have to Do Your Saturn yet again! The bad news means that fixed t-square of ours is getting activated again and sounding the song of change through our earth and the heavens!
As I was preparing to write my column, I heard an interview with Harry Belafonte about Robert F. Kennedy and the new documentary about Kennedy’s life. Mr. Belafonte was saying that Martin Luther King suggested that the activists in the Civil Rights Movement seek out the moral center in Robert Kennedy and try to work with it. Bono, who had apparently heard that story a while back, has done profound work in our world because he seeks the individual moral center in every person in power that he approaches for help, guidance or assistance.
We each have a moral center. Our moral center reflects what is important to our soul! Our moral center describes our soul’s conscious intent when we chose the chart we incarnated into this lifetime. What is your moral center? What do you believe to be true? What is true for you ~ not true for the other guy ~ but true for YOU? How has what you believed to be true changed over the past year? What have you realized? What have you released?
After the wonderful year of growth when your fixed moral center was questioned, challenged, pushed and prodded by the transiting fixed t-square you’ve become more aware of what your moral center is! Hopefully, your moral center has a clearer and stronger voice. You know what you want. You are clear about things. You may not know exactly where you are going or how you are going to get there but you know how to read your compass. Heck, you might have even found out you have a compass! You get it. You are on the road again, following your compass and using your moral center as a guide.
Keep on doing your Saturn. As you do, Saturn, your moral compass and the definer of your karmic path, will clear out the path ahead. Let Saturn guide you. Just keep on doing your Saturn!
Monday, Mercury links up with Saturn by declination as the Sun has a relationship of brilliance to Neptune and works with Chiron. One of the apparent truths of our human existence is how our wounds become the source of our brilliance, our center, our compass and our path. We receive our psychological wounds from Saturn in an earthly format ~ the fear, reluctance, scared or shamed parts of our being based in our childhood experiences. We receive our soul wounds from our Chiron placement ~ that never healing ouch spot which defines our spiritual journey on earth. Today, and actually the rest of the week, we’ll be working to figure out how our wounds are actually tied to our purpose in the world. From inside our wounds comes our depth! From our wounds grows our wisdom. From our wounds, we find our purpose in this world, lifetime and incarnation. A long void moon today offers you a chance to mull on your hopes, dreams and place in the world.
Tuesday, Mercury squares Neptune as Mars squares Saturn. These two planets set off our t-square one more time in incredibly profound ways! Remember to breathe today. Notice what happens. Reread Monday. Today, somehow, “it” clicks into place. The purpose of the whole last year, the reason for 1982/83, July 1989, and May 2000 are revealed in yet another form. What you are here to do. Who you are. What your purpose is. You can’t do anything for anyone else. You can only do it for yourself. You can support the other doing it for themselves but they have to be brave and make their own changes. They are not going to change, unless, of course, they WANT to change. We ARE only able to change ourselves. Changing ourselves and our choices are the extent of our “power” in any situation. Heck, we have to be brave to make OUR OWN changes. Do your Saturn. The moon in Pisces wakes up Uranus as it joins with him and occults the Uranian energy signaling profound emotional surprises! On some level you’ve always known it. On another level, it is a surprise or a confirmation. Believe the surprise. Don’t take it personally ~ just believe it.
Wednesday, we are still recovering from whatever happened on Monday and Tuesday! A couch day is completely acceptable. Besides, the moon is void for a very long time so no one will miss you or be paying much attention to you any way!
Thursday, we get back on track. Mercury wakes up Neptune asking you to understand the deeper meaning of the vision or situation before you. Mars has a bit of a spat with Pluto suggesting you might be feeling a bit blindsided by the earlier events of the week or today’s reaction to them. Venus has a working aspect to Neptune pointing out how we can justify our vision from our own perspective. We aren’t wrong. However, the other guy is entitled to THEIR version and vision of reality too. They aren’t wrong either. Seek the moral compass of both sides to help heal the situation. Jupiter in Sagittarius says find the common ground. As Mars and Pluto are in a 12th house aspect, make sure you don’t undo yourself or do something that is self destructive! In the meantime, watch others in the world, who DON‘T study the heavens, do all sorts of self destructive things! Going to be a fun day on Planet Earth!
Friday offers us another long void moon day. Perhaps a home day is in order? A bit of decorating? A movie? A visit to a spa or the gym? You will have a bundle of energy as the moon’s trine to Saturn and Pluto sets off a grand trine in fire. So plan on working on stuff that needs to be finished up. You’ll be amazed how much you accomplish today! Don‘t start NEW things, finish up OLD projects.
Saturday, Mercury is quite active suggesting he’s figuring out all sorts of cool things. Mercury’s coming back over the points he passed during the earlier parts of his recent retrograde. Get back in contact with the October situation that seemed to drift away right before your very eyes. Now that Mercury’s back at late Scorpio, that situation might very well move forward or at least be under consideration so you can have an impact on it. So take a moment or two to reach out and ask about it, offer your thoughts or connect.
Sunday, Sun squares Uranus bringing changes to your vision in an unexpected and illuminating manner. Mercury’s aspect to Chiron points out how the situation in your life so brilliantly creates the exact stew you needed to linger over or wanted to learn from! Venus has a painful aspect to Chiron, suggesting freedom is hard won, but part of the essential component of choice. Free will ~ what a concept. Those wounds of yours are what got you into the situation you find yourself in. While your wounds will NEVER go away, they can become less responsive, sensitive and learn to act almost as a warning bell for another opportunity for your soul, heart and mind to grow deeper, wiser and more connected to your part, path and role on earth. Forward we go into the season of lights as Advent begins! Expect illumination, candles and sparkly lights for the next few weeks!
Mundane: O.J. Simpson (July 9, 1947, 8:08 am, San Francisco, CA) was back in the news with his $3.5 million book deal and TV special about how he WOULD have killed his wife IF he DID kill his wife (and Ron Goldman). That officially marks the last part of Pluto’s journey through Sagittarius as the beginnings are echoed at the endings of a planet’s journey through a sign. Expect similar echoes, ghosts and repetitions in your life as Jupiter wanders through the Sagittarian degrees. Jupiter’s movement will integrate and teach you about the lessons of Pluto‘s journey through the fiery and visionary sign of righteousness, justice and truth since 1995. We’ll come to
understand Pluto in Sagitta
rius as Jupiter weaves his lessons with Pluto’s, explaining, illuminating and illustrating them into our very beings, cultures and our world.
Correspondingly, we’ve received a foretaste of Pluto’s upcoming journey through Capricorn! We’ll call this the Bad new part of Pluto in Capricorn. The former KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko (August 30, 1962), was poisoned with JUST enough radioactive polonium-210 to make him SUFFER a long and painful death before it killed him. Not too much to kill him immediately and more than could ever be cured. The slow, painful poisoning sends a crystal clear, Saturn/Pluto kind of message to all critics of the abuse of power, authority, structures, earth, corporations and governments. These are the very areas we are going to be learning about and working with as Pluto travels through Capricorn.
In his death bed statement, Litvinenko accused Vladimir Putin (October 7, 1952), the leader of Russia, “… as I lie here I can distinctly hear the beating of wings of the angel of death. I may be able to give him the slip but I have to say my legs do not run as fast as I would like. I think, therefore, that this may be the time to say one or two things to the person responsible for my present condition. You may succeed in silencing me but that silence comes at a price. You have shown yourself to be as barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed. You have shown yourself to have no respect for life, liberty or any civilized value. You have shown yourself to be unworthy of your office, to be unworthy of the trust of civilized men and women. You may succeed in silencing one man but the howl of protest from around the world will reverberate, Mr. Putin, in your ears for the rest of your life. May God forgive you for what you have done, not only to me but to beloved Russia and its people.” Compare OJ and Nicole Simpson’s charts, synastry and planetary relationships with Putin’s and Litvinenko’s. Gotta love astrology!
The GOOD news part of Pluto in Capricorn is Pluto will leave a clear, physical, earthy trail (in this case, a radioactive isotope) for all to see as well as a death bed statement, IF we choose to look! Off we go!
