New Moon November 20, 2006

New Moon November 20, 2006

28:27 Scorpio

2:18 pm PST

After a year of important, illuminating and profound lunations, the new moon on November 20, 2006 is the biggest and brightest of the year! The new moon falls in the last degrees of the fixed signs and sets off the fixed t-square in the heavens. Uranus stationed to go direct earlier in the day, starting up the movie that seemed to stop in June, when the film broke. You‘ll rewatch March, April and May in quick order before moving forward in the movie. Mercury stationed to go direct three days ago so the conversations that seemed to stop Mid-October are back in the air again.

Every planet in the sky is moving FORWARD, full speed ahead. For the next few weeks, until Saturn stations at 25:04 to go retrograde on December 6th, the Universe is going to ask you where do you want to go? I encourage you to plant numerous seeds, start (at least the title page) your book, open a savings account for the down payment on your dream house, call the broker to list your old house, call for information on your research project, fill out that application for further education, pick out the color for the nursery walls, figure out where you’d like the wedding to be or write the business plan for your new business. You get the idea.

The point of the entire last year was to get you to where you are now. Think of last year at this time and what was going on in your life. Where were you? What was frustrating you? Do you see how very far you’ve come? Do you see how much you’ve learned about your fears, frustrations and anxieties? If you’ve been facing and working with the planets traveling through your fixed houses, working with that t-square and doing your Saturn, you’ve found the Universe delivering to you over the past few weeks. If you’ve been avoiding working with your fixed houses and not doing your Saturn, the Universe should be RIGHT in your face and asking you to change and evolve and go towards the new you. No fear. Just move towards the new you and the next chapter of your life.

So, what DO you want to come into your life over the next 6 years? Say it, write it or dream it today and tomorrow. Say it, write it or dream it out loud to the clouds, heavens and your soul. Say it, write it or dream it with love. Say it, write it or dream it with hope. Say it, write it or dream it with laughter. Say it, write it or dream it with a full heart. Say it, write it or dream it and trust the universe is listening. Please be COMPLETELY POSITIVE in your phrasing as you say it, write it or dream it today and tomorrow!.

Jupiter is in mutual reception with Pluto in Sagittarius. Jupiter and Pluto combined bring VERY big things ~ they are huge wealth and abundance indicators. They are having a very interesting conversation about what to bring you. So it is either a whole lot of good or a whole lot of not so good! Jupiter’s at the very last degree of Scorpio, joined to the new moon, amping up the energy of the lunation. All the Scorpio planets are ruled by that lovely Mars in Scorpio so they are functioning at maximum, transformational, evolutionary capacity. The universe wants you to change. Venus has moved into early Sagittarius where she is much more light hearted, mirthful, playful, perky and happy. Abundance. Abundance. Abundance. Abundance of what? Abundance of good or bad stuff? Do you like what you are getting? Is it a field of weeds or a garden of vegetables and flowers? If you don’t like what is growing in your life, between now and when Saturn stations, plant stuff for what you DO want! Time’s a wasting!

All the planets in the heavens are moving forward! All the planets are separating from the fixed t-square and moving into their new positions. Yes, Saturn is going to station and go back to readjust the STRUCTUREs in your life through February and June of next year. However, Saturn’s pretty clear about what you want to create in your life. Last chance to give Saturn instructions before he starts moving stuff around in your life as he opposes Neptune! Mercury is moving direct over the Scorpio planets and that fixed T-square. Mars is moving direct through the T-square. Mars and Mercury are how we move things and think things. First, Mercury is moving in trine aspect to Uranus saying shift. Use that magic of Neptune in Aquarius and create! Create! Create! What do you want to create?

I’ve been reading and referring clients to a book lately, “Ask and It is Given” written by the Hicks. They have lovely examples of how we create our reality by our energy and our decisions. It kind of merges the chaos theory with our thoughts as the origins of what we create. One of their examples is to imagine you and a friend are driving from New York to Chicago. You get to Pittsburgh, your friend says, “I am never going to get to Chicago!” So, then, he turns around and drives both of you back to New York. The next day, you both get in the car again and drive towards Chicago. You get to Pittsburgh. Again, your friend announces, “I am never going to get to Chicago”. He starts to turn the car around and to drive back to New York again.

So what would you say to that person, that friend of yours driving the car who keeps turning back towards New York? By the way, did I mention that your friend’s name is Saturn? What will you say to Saturn?

“Wait, Saturn, you are already half way there! Just keep going! Don’t turn around and drive back towards New York! We are halfway to Chicago. Let’s keep on going towards Chicago to see what happens! We’ll get to Chicago eventually! Maybe we won’t get there today but if we keep turning around and driving back to New York, we’ll never get to Chicago!”

OR would you AGREE with Saturn that having arrived in Pittsburgh you are NEVER going to arrive in Chicago? Would you encourage Saturn to turn around and drive back to New York? And then tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, for the rest of your life, you and Saturn can both drive towards Chicago again? And get to Pittsburgh and turn around? Or maybe get to Cleveland and turn around to drive back to New York?

When phrased or positioned that way, we say “Well, of course, that is so silly! I would say to Saturn, ‘Look at the map, Saturn! We are half way to Chicago! Let’s keep on going towards Chicago!’” However, when we face that kind of situation in our own life, we agree with Saturn and turn our car around. We don’t continue to drive toward Chicago. We drive back to New York.

Over the past few months, we’ve been talking to and working with our Saturns. Your Saturn might be feeling kind of discouraged right now. Or irritated. Or cranky. Or aware of how much farther it is until we get to Chicago. Saturn needs a pep talk from you. Give him a pep talk. Even if Saturn doesn’t LOOK discouraged, give him a pep talk. You are about to see a sign for Chicago. But if you and Saturn are too discouraged, you might miss it.

So, this week when you get to Pittsburgh, look around for a sign that says you are almost to Chicago! It will be there, on the interstate, ~ high up on a Green sign with White letters. It may be a teeny tiny sign. It might be a big old huge sign. Make sure to look as the sign will be there! Point the sign out to yourself and to your Saturn. If you don’t see a sign, then get your map out. Show Saturn how far you’ve come on the map. Point out where you were in the Fall of 1982, Summer of 1989, May 2000 and what you went through all of last year. That was your trip from New York to Pittsburgh. You can map out your progress for Saturn. Show Saturn that Pittsburgh (where you are NOW) is on the way to Chicago on the map of your life! Encourage Saturn to continue to drive toward Chicago. Don’t let Saturn turn back and head towards New York. If need be, take ove
r the wheel and drive for a
while. Saturn will fall quietly asleep in the passenger seat. Before you know it, you and Saturn will be out of Pennsylvania and into Ohio! You are almost to Chicago! Don’t let Saturn turn the car around. And, if you don’t like Chicago after you get there…. well, we’ll talk about that when we get to Chicago. In the meantime, don’t turn around and drive back to New York!

Lynda Hill’s Sabian Images for the lunation echo the pep talk you need to give your Saturn if he wants to turn back and head towards New York. Gotta love astrology!

AN INDIAN WOMAN PLEADING TO THE CHIEF FOR THE LIVES OF HER CHILDREN

Commentary: ‘An Indian Woman’ is ‘Pleading to the Chief For the Lives of Her Children’. Something that the children have done, or are suspected of doing, has led to the ‘Children’ needing the ‘Woman’ to stand up for them, state their case clearly and ask for mercy or leniency. It could be that the ‘Children’ are not really children, but are something merely seen as being useless, expendable or to be sacrificed for other causes.

Oracle: You may find a need to stand up for those in your care, whether it is your ‘Children’, your ideals, creative pursuits, or other people. Even if they might somehow draw or deserve rejection, punishment or judgment, there is a need for you to act as a go-between, or an advocate. It needs to be remembered, though, that being “deserving of punishment” is often a perception of society, and quite probably prejudice, and not always something that’s grounded in reality. On the other hand, you may need someone else to do this for you and yours-to be an advocate or to translate your feelings or actions so that others may understand. The solution will probably best be found not so much in being defensive as in simply asking for leniency, or asking for attention to be paid to the matter at hand. Apologies may need to be made. When people understand what is truly going on they often relax and this serves to take a lot of the emotional “charge” out of the proceedings. As the situation is brought more into the light, and people see what’s really going on, there is usually a lot of the pain, distrust and fear taken away. People will be more forgiving or accepting if they understand the full picture.

So be kind and nice to your Saturn! He‘s had a long year. He’s tired. Saturn’s had a long journey. He’s been working hard. He’s been trying to do what he loves. Give Saturn a pep talk, a quick hug (he doesn’t much like hugs but he needs one today), a warm Cinnamon bun and a bottle of cold water. Tuck Saturn in the passenger seat. Buckle him in. Take over the steering wheel. Gas up your car. Head on down the road towards Chicago. No turning back!
