Spring Begins! AND it is St. Patrick’s Day ~ the day everyone are honorary Irish men and women!
It is an emotional processing and then action taking week on earth!
Last week, the heavenly energy was about delivering good, bad, difficult or life changing news to you under the Mercury in Aquarius square to Saturn in Scorpio and the Full Moon in Virgo/Pisces. This week, the Aries Ingress is at about the same clock TIME as the Full Moon so you are going to ACT on what you learned LAST week. You will continue to emotionally process it. You will delve into the deeper meaning of what the information means TO you and means FOR you going forward.
Actually, as it is the Aries Ingress, you are probably going to be wrestling and working and mulling and chewing and pulling and tearing on the news you received last week for the rest of the Mars retrograde (May 20) until you figure out what you want to do with it. Think of it as a cosmic time span to decide what you want to do.
In my case, I got derailed mid-week with both family and friend news ~ swept away into a gamut of feelings that swirled, whirled and pulled me under. The various bits and pieces of news of rocked my world. None were 100% surprises but they definitely got my attention and made me stop short. In some cases, I finally understood what others had been complaining about for a LONG TIME. I got it! In other cases, I was left to process a completely different understanding of what was going on. While I didn’t lose it, I did retreat from the different situations to assess what I wanted to do going forward when the time came to move forward. Pisces Moons retreat. Look to YOUR Moon and your Mars to see how YOU handled the news you received. Of course, Mars IS in retreat in the heaven’s above so not moving forward is perfectly fine!
Various friends advised me to end it. Other friends advised wait it out. Of course, I know the astrology ~ it says revise, revisit, reassess, wait it out and eventually (May 20 or July 20), you’ll know what to do. Or you will know what you want to do. So we are sitting in a “Waiting Place” ~ like in the book “Oh the Places You’ll Go…” by Dr. Seuss ~ we are waiting. We are waiting in the waiting place… Waiting for clarity. Waiting for clearance. Waiting for the mystery to solve. Waiting for an understanding of what to do next, if anything. Waiting. Waiting. Processing. Processing. All towards greater consciousness. Oh the places you’ll go! Eventually….

The Week’s Planetary Highlights
Sun in Pisces emotionally dances and wraps up winter. Spring begins on March 20 at 12:57 am EDT when he enters Aries. Sun is stressed out as he aspects the Nodes of Destiny early in the week ~ you are making important choice but you’ll have to change to have them stick! Sad and VERY existentially alone at the beginning of the week, more motivated and alive at the end of the week when the Sun gets into Aries.
Mercury enters Pisces on March 17 and gets EMOTIONAL! Feelings rule! He leaves his shadow on March 20, 2014. He is in Pisces until April 7. Fluid feelings! Mercury connects with Neptune on Saturday so expect deep emotional wells of feelings to build ALL WEEK! Call the sad, depressed or suicidal folks you know ~ remind them it is just a transit which will end very soon. Swamped feelings prevail! Depression rolls through our beings. Watery feelings of deep importance. Important connections, communications and pivotal visions or dreams can take place this week as Mercury aspects the Nodes of Destiny and joins with Neptune to inspire dreams.
Venus in Aquarius is active and hopping with activity. She‘s inspired by Eris to be discordant, argumentative and crabby. She has makes adjustments to her health and habits with Jupiter. She is emotionally overwhelmed by Poseidon. She works productively with change, chaos and upsets with Uranus. She sidesteps being blindsided by power struggles and triangles with Pluto. That girl is working it! You work it too! Watch carefully ~ Venus in Aquarius doesn’t miss a THING! She picks up the cues!
Mars is moving backwards until May 20, 2014. He is quiet, retreated into the cave. Men, Scorpio and Aries planets and houses are in retreat, moving away. They should find the missing Malaysian airplane on March 20, 2014 at 09:01:40 am EDT when Sedna, the Inuit goddess of the ocean meets up with Mars by declination. Or on March 22 when Mercury clears Neptune ~ Mercury rules travel and Neptune is the sea!
Jupiter renegotiates partnerships and relationship all week and makes a decision about them on Sunday, March 23. One way or the other, things have to change!
Saturn is quiet but fuming bitterly over the partnership and relationships issues brought to his attention on Tuesday, March 18. Time for things to change!
Uranus sees but doesn’t LIKE the Patterns before him on Wednesday March 19. The ego and narcissism are a bit overwhelming!
Chiron’s aspects last week were quite nasty. You might not have healed last week but THIS WEEK you see the pattern for what it is AND you come to understand what you have to do to nurture yourself to health and wholeness!
Ceres enters Libra (going retrograde) on Saturday March 22 ~ the angry Mother Earth energy subsides and reconnects with us in a helpful manner! Whew! Tough when she’s mad!
Vesta makes important connections with the Nodes of Destiny offering you a new home or place in the world on Thursday, March 20.
Juno and Ceres argue with Vesta and Pallas ~ the feminine fights! The feminine fights back! Back and forth all week! The entire world feels like it has a bad case of PMS….Premenstrual Syndrome ~ ESPECIALLY the men as Mars is going backwards in a feminine sign and feeling picked on, detached and uncared for! Watch for jealousy and double standards! Retreat to your Man or Woman cave as needed! Sometimes it is better to be nasty and sulk by yourself than inflict it on the rest of us! Or maybe just HIDE in your Man or Woman cave where they can’t find you….
Void Moons in the Week Ahead: When the Moon is Void, it is wise to avoid making important decisions as they tend to be unrealistic, and subject to false starts, errors or unexpected hassles. Avoid being concerned with things beyond your spiritual center. It is time for subjective, spiritual and non-materialistic concerns. Kick back, let life flow and center yourself. The Spring Ingress chart above shows a lovely, exceptionally active Aries Ingress energy that is remarkable for the LACK of grounded EARTH energy in it and the VAST AMOUNT of WATER energy in it. It mirrors last week’s Full Moon chart with the Pisces Sun and Virgo Moon. Expect lots of action, drama and excitement for the next THREE months! Some people say it is for the WHOLE YEAR! Swirling emotions, high drama, hidden and explosive fights with authorities and deep pockets of creativity demanded and responded to. Expansive energy facing off with profound transformation and changes. Stirrings and changes in the very foundation of our lives. It is gonna be a fun few months! All the major planets are also sitting on dramatic fixed stars!
Monday Moon’s day March 17, 2014. Happy St. Patrick’s Day. My Irish mother always said everyone is Irish on St Paddy’s day! Top of the Morning to you! Moon is in Libra and goes void joined to Mars so we can get a great deal accomplished today and tomorrow. With the conjunction to Mars we can get people to help us or get rid of us…choose your Mars energy wisely. Mercury enters Pisces tonight making communication exceptionally fluid, watery, sentimental, unclear and emotional. It IS St Patrick’s day so there is LOTS of talking (Mercury) while under the influence of Pisces (drinking!). Dreams were troubled but deep. Chiron connects with old patterns of depression or difficult expression. People can hurt themselves today by not paying attention to how much things have changed. Venus is inconjunct to Jupiter asking us to adjust our understanding about how we love and what our value is. It is a Scorpio type of energy so deep emotional fears and concerns about our values can surface today. Sun wants to help us understand the deeper underlying emotional patterns. We become conscious through various types of revelations, ah-ha moments and relationships. Today the source of that consciousness might be difficult but it is important for you to pay attention to the message it brings. The cracked place is where the light enters to help us see and heal. The feminine energies squabble a bit as they negotiate a new outcome or solutions to the problem. There is an easy ending energy as Sun sextiles Admetos.
Tuesday Mars Day March 18, 2014 Moon in Libra goes void joined to Mars at 09:08:04 pm. Moon is void Tuesday night. Today is an action oriented day that results in surprising information. The feminine is NOT happy today as the planets argue above our heads. Try to step away from conflict. Encourage creative problem solving. Enlist allies. Venus sextiles Uranus offering a mid-day break through or transformation of creativity into money or value. Put a dollar value on it. Mercury’s trine to Ceres encourages partnerships to form that help the other move forward. Accept help. Accept suggestions. Try to see the value or gem in the ideas flying or floating by. Structured partnerships are dynamically pushed a bit today. It is all for the good. Accept the push. The feminine can be crabby. Retreat to your various safe spots. My cat likes to hide behind the green chair. My other cat takes to the closet when the large, noisy vacuum cleaner appears. You can hide in your closet tonight too. In fact, it is probably a good idea!
Wednesday Mercury’s day March 19, 2014 Moon enters Scorpio at 05:14:23 am EDT. Moon goes void joined to Saturn making today and tomorrow great days to end things! Intense, passionate and a flood of new water into an already emotional medley of Pisces and Cancer water. You face difficult choices tonight ~ in your dreams or in your life. Choose towards that evolution that is calling you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t dwell in the fear place. Adjust your heart toward Peace. My friend Llorraine gave up resistance for Lent. When we talked about it, she said “Resistance is separation from the Divine within us.” What would it be like if we gave up resistance and lived in the flow? Watch what you resist today ~ resistance is where your eddies are swirling into little whirlpools of turbulent energy. Watch where you are asked to be subservient today and how you resist ~ adjust. Watch where you are asked to adjust yourself to the world rather than have the world adjust to you… resistance! Moon’s trine to Mercury and Neptune encourage us to move forward to a new outcome ~ to flow past the resistance. The feminine energies are kind of crabby tonight as they want a new reality. Break with old patterns. You can completely do this. You KNOW you want it to be different. So change. You can’t ask THEM to change. You can change! Listen to the devil whispering in your ear ~ resist him! You can’t make another do your bidding. You are in charge of your life ~ they are in charge of their life.
Thursday Jupiter’s Day March 20, 2014 Moon is in Scorpio and goes void joined to Saturn on at 11:12:38 pm EDT. Moon actually occults Saturn bringing hidden problems or events to the surface ~ especially EMOTIONAL events. Avoid emotional or difficult conversations today if you can. It just is not an easy energy. Lots going on that is going to push folks buttons. Sun at the last degree of Pisces shifts into Aries energy at 12:57 pm EDT. Spring begins! The Sun crosses the equator and the days become a bit longer than the nights. Sun moving from Water to Fire makes things boil or steam. Lots of dreams last night around relationships and healing. Mars connects with Sedna making us ever the more emotional. Venus and Pluto are in a bit of a power struggle around relationships and money and who loves who more or are you actually valued. Today you or they are NOT feeling particularly valued or loved. Again, it is a transit but a bit of a sticky wicket. The universe is pushing at you to become more conscious. However, we can’t be “partially conscious” ~ that is NOT how it works. We can’t pick HOW we become conscious. It happens. We have to flow with where the universe is taking us. So don’t stand in your fear place. Move to the place where you feel a bit of anxiety and ground yourself as best you can. Go to the bathroom, form fists with your hands and pump them in the air to give yourself an energetic boost. You are talking about the future of your home and hearth now ~ important conversations under difficult energies can be emotional. No fighting when you get home either ~ especially as you are NOT in the mood (or the moon) for anything tense or difficult. The day ends with a bit more cosmic PMS…. Retreat to your man or woman cave and hide until you feel better. Moon occults Saturn so deep emotions burble to the surface!
Friday Venus Day March 21, 2014 Moon is void Friday morning and enters Sagittarius at 11:40:02 am EDT. Moon goes void Sextile to Mars so today, Saturday and Sunday are quite productive and action oriented. Sun contraparallels Pallas inviting you to change your patterns and presentations so all can connect with the vision of energy. The middle part of the day is quite connected and supported as Sun and Moon cooperate around 1:30 pm EDT. There can be some stressful energy from females ~ think cosmic PMS. Plow through it. Kronos stations and turns direct… we can’t do the same thing and expect a different result. People get that. There is a tendency to scapegoat today ~ push back and ask for suggestions rather just listening to criticism. Use good listening techniques to get folks to talk ~ they don’t have words for what they want. Come up with song lyrics that express your feelings. Mirror their words back. Paraphrase. Get them flowing or talking. Expect difficult news tonight that is of an emotional or disturbing nature.
Saturday Saturn’s day March 22, 2014 Moon is in Sagittarius and goes void Sextile to Mars making today quite productive and profitable! Turbulent dreams last night dissolve into an ah-ha moment on awakening. That cold which has been tugging at your nose and throat threatens to evolve into a full-fledged affair. Take time to address it with vitamin C and fluids! Partner with your health. Commitments are difficult this morning as the desire to leave and go your own way is strong as Aries Sun fights with controlling hellish Hades! Take a break and get out frolicking in the lovely energy of the freedom loving Sagittarius Moon. The mothering principle leaves Scorpio and becomes more related, connected and nice as she enters Libra (retrograde so SHE’LL BE BACK in her angry Scorpio forms soon enough!) Mercury connects up with Neptune and suddenly the fog starts to lift. Of course, it COULD get MORE EMOTIONAL. Sagittarius Moon is impulsive so check up on your sad or depressed friends. This is a good moon for a suicide ~ there actually will be quite a few deaths this week by suicide. I use “good” euphemistically. There is SO much water in the heavens that folks are awash and feel like they are drowning. Remind your sad friends (and your sad self) that these are tough transits but they ARE transits. That means transitory! They will be over soon enough. So hang in there. Do happy Neptune things ~ dance, dream, swim, sing, watch movies, doodle, draw, paint, or lie on your back and watch the clouds go by. You are inspired to try something different today that breaks you free of your existing patterns. Go for it! Mercury invites you to meet some interesting people, make important connections or figure out great stuff. If you are going on a first date tonight, it will be a great deal of fun. Just make sure they don’t do drugs or drink too much!
Sunday Sun’s Day March 23, 2014 Moon goes void Sextile to Mars at 06:41:17 am EDT and Moon enters Capricorn at 04:04:08 pm EDT. Moon is void most of Sunday. Sextile Moons are productive and get things done that are task based and repetitive even if the Moon is void ~ laundry, filing, cleaning etc. Turbulent dreams last night stimulate a bunch of new ideas that you need to pay attention to. Jupiter’s square to Juno has relationships struggling to find clear footing between connection, nurturing and independence and freedom. Juno is aggravated with the big guy ~ he’s constantly doing the big gesture and it is driving her crazy! Mercury wants a firm commitment now that he’s finished with Neptune and being so unclear. Give it a couple of days! I know he’s anxious to go forward but sometimes it is best to wait a bit to see a bit more clearly. Vesta wants you to revisit the patterns in your home and house. Allow things to change ~ do things in a different way which is more productive. The love principle is quite inspired to release things that no longer work for you! Closet cleaning perhaps? The feminine principles continue to squabble today, stressfully. If you clear it out, you’ll have space for the new to arrive. Release and trust the process! If you don’t love it, lose it! Moon squares Sun in the evening offering a fight opportunity with someone that you probably don’t want to take or get into. Retreat to your cave! Silence helps! Remember cosmic PMS!
