Weekly Weather December 6, 2010
Our week ahead holds a number of changes as Venus continues to trace back over the path she’s traveled twice already. Approaching aspects with Pluto and Mercury, she’s communicating clearly what she’s figured out since September.
Venus in Scorpio is a bit jealous and doesn’t miss much. She pays attention to what is said as well as what is NOT said. Last week, as Mercury joined with Pluto on the North Node of Destiny, you heard or learned something which changed how you think about a situation in your life. Now that you have that information or knowledge, you can proceed, with relative confidence, towards a new way of being or behaving. Some examples from people I spoke with included profound business offers, legal settlements, job offers, relationship revelations or disclosures or affairs, unexpected information about upcoming losses of jobs, lives, illness and relationships. In my world, I learned of two previously secret unwed pregnancies that made previously weird family dynamics make a WHOLE lot of sense.
So what secret news or offer or idea was revealed to YOU last week that you didn’t know about before? What was the “WikiLeak” in your life? What did you find out about? Was it perhaps something embarrassing, or previously not talked about? Secrets emerge from that swamp Pluff mud when Venus is in Scorpio!
We can expect more secrets to appear this week. More stuff will rise out of the Pluff mud in the swamp as Mercury slows to station and turns to go retrograde in Capricorn on Friday.
There is another interesting heavenly story going on with Venus and Mercury’s dance. In September, Mercury was retrograde as Venus entered her shadow for her long 100 day dance in Scorpio along the Path of Fire. Now as Mercury stations to go retrograde again, Venus is at the degree she was at, 3 Scorpio, when Mercury stationed to go direct in September. AND Mercury is trine to his prior station degree of 5 Virgo when he stations at 5 Capricorn this week.
That means that Venus and Mercury, always buddies, are REALLY in cahoots right now. The information you hear or learn will cause major changes in your life and way of looking at things. Let it in. Don’t judge it. Just note it. Don’t take it personally ~ it is for your wisdom and growth. Take a memo. Record it. Attempt to figure out WHY you are learning that particular piece of information NOW. And, IF it is possible, act IN A POSITIVE MANNER on the information you hear. If it knocks your socks off, well sit down and put your shoes back on. Take a breathe. And be still.
In essence the universe is telling us to pay very close attention to what we learn and hear this week and under the upcoming Mercury retrograde. Earth based Mercury retrogrades do tend to be harsh on our mechanical communication and transportation devices because they are physical and earth based changes. So back up the data in your computer, get the noise in your car checked out, turn off the stereo, download your cell phone numbers and prepare for appliance issues.
And in your own life, take the information that you hear under the Mercury retrograde and PAY ATTENTION to it! It is there for you to ACT on and take advantage of. We’ve moved from changeable and indecisive earth in September into Action Taking, kick butt, conquer the world earth now.
And Venus’ sextile to both earth Mercury’s at virtually the same degree forms a Minor Grand Trine across time and space. All that work you did while rolling around in the swamp of Scorpio’s mud will pay off as you climb the cliffs of Capricorn to the next chapter of your life. Think about how much CLEARER you are about the situations that you desire or want in your life. It should feel like blinders are dropping from your eyes. And, in fact, blinders ARE dropping from your eyes.
Some things folks I know figured out and said: “Yes, he does have mother issues.” “Looks like there is a drug or alcohol problem.” “Is it possible my mother was envious of me?” “Seems to be a gay cabal ~ a boys club with no girls allowed in!” “It looks like the father is abusing his son.” “She likes to suffer and complain. I‘ve given up trying to fix it!” “No, there is not a thing you can do to change it.” “Mom, you KNOW I prefer things small and cozy.” “Perhaps it IS a conspiracy!” “They are WAY out of control.” “My sister is a mean and nasty drunk person who I don’t like very much.” “There was a dead baby?” “Well I created the problem by babying him for the past 18 years.” “He keeps denying it but I KNOW.”
You don’t have to DO anything right now. You just have to see it for what it is. Stand in the knowledge. The revelation is only the first part. You don’t have to do more right now. As Jupiter and Uranus go into Aries over the next few months and the t-square from August starts to fulfill its promise, you will be asked to act on what you’ve figured out this fall. Enough for right now that you’ve figured it out, seen it, stated it, or heard it. The universe is gentle with us when the changes are this profound.
Additionally, this week, Mars enters Capricorn, the sign of his exaltation and starts to take concrete, direct action. He will have difficult aspects building all week to culminate NEXT week so clear the air as best you can THIS week. Clarify what you heard before you go storming off in a huff.
Mars is on the world axis so expect decisive actions to take care of situations that have been brewing or festering for a while. Mars enters Capricorn and moves towards the Node of Destiny, Pluto and stationing Mercury in early Capricorn.
Words are incredibly important and strong this week. So be especially cautious with loved ones and all folks you interact with as words can be misunderstood very easily. Listen carefully and double check, triple, or even quadruple check what you hear or read. Same for the information you learned last week.
Moon’s day December 6 Moon in Sagittarius and Capricorn both have strong closing aspects permitting work begun today to have positive outcomes. Moon occults Mars so tempers can flare out of nowhere. Pay attention to what irritates you today. Sun sends you on powerful dreams so note them upon awakening. Patterns are being challenged and asked to change as Jupiter in boundary free Pisces runs up against Pallas in visionary Sagittarius ~ You need to revisit or revise that vision to meet the current conditions. Adjust for spaciousness in your life. Add to the vision you have and don’t be afraid to say that it isn’t working for you in the form that it currently takes. Change time is here. Vision and ego combine to create a vision of what can be created. Write your ideas down! There is a group gathering that you simply love ~ give yourself time and space to enjoy the people in your chosen tribe.
Mars’ day, Tuesday December 7 Moon in Capricorn is practical and focused. Mars is at his last degree of Sagittarius and thus a bit wild and out of control, quickly de-evolving into a hellish condition. Mars is also on the world axis so fights become public and visible rapidly. Arguments can flair wildly our of control today. Sun has a sextile to Saturn offering a somberness or depression to the energy around doing the right thing. Again, look for what you hear or learn that you didn’t know before. Mercury is dishing the secrets. Mars enters the sign of his exaltation tonight and amps up the action taking energy of his desires and actions.
Mercury’s day, Wednesday December 8 Moon in Capricorn continues to push us forward. Expect unexpected or good creative news tonight as Moon sextiles both Jupiter and Uranus. A project that you’ve been working on culminates or completes in a positive fashion. Mars on the world axis offers us an opportunity to grow and see things we’ve never seen before, to take actions we’ve only dreamed of, to move forward with confidence and clarity. Venus sextiles Pluto culminating her emotional journey and waking up the story from early August when she squared him. Expect to hear news from loved ones that is good and happy or life changing.
Thursday, Jupiter’s day, December 9 Moon in Aquarius gets a bit colder and detached. A health matter comes to a conclusion. People with health issues can have infections that are difficult or hard to manage. Deal with any health issue that surfaces today very promptly. It is a great day to take a long overview of what you want from partner and how you intend to go about working in partnerships in the future. You might not get what you want but ask for it anyway. Mercury is stopped in the sky so news heard today is important.
Venus’ day, Friday December 10 Moon in Aquarius offers continued detachment and 20,000 foot views of things going on and heard. Mercury stations today opposite Kronos so you can separate from things that are no longer working for you. You can also hear news of an ending, death or loss. It is ok. All things end with time. Today is a day for endings, deaths, departures, severances and leave taking. Mars wants to help the ending be peaceful and permanent. Family is defined as the folks you love as well as the folks you are born to. Today you may very well find a new family or establish a new way of dealing with your family. There can be a sense of exhaustion with this energy. Patterns can change permanently today. It is a fabulous day for ending things or habits that you want to release such as overeating, smoking or drinking ~ lovely supporting aspects for not picking up again. Mercury and Venus have a conversation so give yourself permission to express, even if it is only to your bathroom mirror, what you deeply, truly want. Venus is cooperating with the principle of family and connection that work past time and space so if you get a message from the universe delivered to your doorstep, make sure to open the door!
Saturn’s day December 11, Void moon in the Morning makes it a bad day for holiday shopping. Moon enters Pisces in the afternoon at 1:40 pm EST with lovely and creative closing aspects. Expect your patterns to swell and change with a vigor that you might find startling~ suddenly in addition to going on a diet, you take up exercise. In addition to quitting smoking, you decide to stop drinking too. You pitch stuff you’ve been holding on to forever ~ clearing out a whole closet of spaciousness. You get the idea ~ Mars is coming to join with the Node of Destiny so you can get a jump start of energy that moves you forward to where you are going in your future. You can fight with your mother or the principle of too much nurturing today ~ suck it up. No whining. Go for it. Listen to the dream in your heart. If it is in your heart, it is in your chart.
Sun’s Day, December 12 Moon in Pisces continues to ooze juicy emotions and connections while you sleep so expect supportive and interesting dreams to guide your being at night. Once you awaken, you’ll find you have lots of energy to push yourself forward into the new. Uranus squares Pallas so you break habits and routines forever. Good riddance. It is a lovely release and let go energy as Mars comes to join Pluto and Mercury shifting your focus for the next two years in a new direction that builds on the good parts of your past and allows you to move forward. The imagery I keep getting is a dog shaking off the water, with glee, after emerging from the ocean ~ a shaking and shimmering bundle of energy with a wiggle of the tail. Or perhaps, after emerging from the Pluff mud. Remember you don’t have to DO anything with what you learned this week or last week. You just have to listen to it. And acknowledge it. That is all that is required. That may be the best thing you can ever do for yourself.
