Weekly Weather August 7, 2006

Oodles of Energy shifts in the week ahead. Big, warm, fuzzy shifts (for the most part) once the week is finished ~ you made it! Keep doing your Saturn as the configuration of Whoosh is still in place. And take deep, slow breaths of fresh planetary air as Sun and Saturn finish their annual cycle to start a new year, a glorious Aquarius Full moon takes place, Juno enters Virgo, Mercury enters Leo, Sun opposes Neptune, Venus enters Leo, and Mars opposes Uranus. Plus, Mars in Virgo is going to set off the unstable emotional eclipse energy from March of 2006. Now, while most of the changes in the week ahead are positive, action oriented and MUCH more upbeat than the past month or two, when a planet is in the last degrees of any sign (and three are), the energy of the planet kicks up to shout out its essence LOUDLY right before it exits the room. As you know the signs, the planets were in over the past few weeks were not overly pleasant, although they were transformative! As the planets get ready to leave their signs, they will kick up in one more tantrum or burst of energy.

Mercury in Cancer is WHINY, whiny, whiny and emotionally needy (on a bad day). People are going to be whining like crazy until Thursday. Tell folks to do their Saturn, stop whining, stand up straight, think happy thought and suck it up. Venus in Cancer is emotional, completely security based and not feeling particularly loved unless she‘s held, kissed and adored 24/7 (on a bad day). Just about next to NOTHING makes Venus feel the love right now. HER desires are NOT being met by the behavior of others until Saturday. Tell folks to do their Saturn, stop looking for emotional reassurances that are NOT coming, tuck in their stomachs, put on red lipstick, and suck it up. We are all two year olds, over stimulated, loaded with sugar and WAY overdue for our nap. A nap will help immensely! Of course, with so much planetary activity, your chances of a helpful nap are next to nil. Therefore, temper tantrums will take place to discharge the energy. Imagine a world chock full of two year olds, having over tired, over stimulated, and over sugared temper tantrums and emotional explosions, all over the place. It is going to be fun!

So why do I think it is going to be a “good” week if we are going to have temper tantrums and emotional explosions all over the place?

Well, you know how delicious toddlers are right AFTER they collapse in tears of complete frustration? That fresh smell of exhausted energy as they snuggle into your neck and hug you, sobs finished, teary eyed, wet faced and JUST DONE. Suck on their thumb. Look up at you, snuffling to kind of smile as they realize the world is not such a bad place after all? Their eyelids lower and they duck their head back on your neck to nestle in. That happens this week too ~ it takes place towards the end of the week!

We get it. Our inner two year old gets it. WE FINALLY GET IT! After a VERY, VERY, VERY long year full of stress, difficulty, being over stimulated, over sugared and certainly over tired by ALL the crap we’ve had to deal with, we get it. We get it! Nothing is going to ever take away the level of consciousness that arrives to your heart and soul this week! Your inner two year old knows you are going to take care of yourself. All is right in the world. Finally, you understand and hear your inner two year old! Your inner two year old feels the love. Pat your back! Blow your nose. Blow! Blow hard!

Back to Saturn. He finishes a major journey with the Sun on Monday. So we are back where we were August 2005. Everything is the same yet everything is completely different. You have a year’s worth of knowledge under your belt. It is a cosmic do-over. What ever you learned last year will never leave you. Now make the best and wisest use of last year’s experiences as you go forward. Be aware and conscious.

Saturn is fear. The other thing to remember about the WHOOSH energy that we’ve been experiencing in our world is that it triggers the fear side of our Saturn‘s nature. When the Whoosh flows out of Neptune’s and Jupiter’s expansive energy, it can blow your fears, anxieties and shame, normally keep under some sort of grown up wrap, into giant angry elephants rampaging through your psyche. That energy from the t-square has to go some place! When your fear takes off, please know the whoosh of Jupiter and Neptune are sending it extra energy! To ground your fear, do some version of your Saturn. Do not be afraid to do your Saturn ~ just face those fears of yours and talk to them. Talk your fears down. Work it out by doing other versions of your Saturn. Ground your fear. Your fears can expand into huge and unbelievable proportions right now due to Neptune and Jupiter. The fear you feel is actually an illusion! You will find that out, very quickly, IF you just DO YOUR SATURN. Do your Saturn.

Another feature to watch is the full moon on Tuesday, which lights up the looming Saturn and Neptune opposition. Moon is siding with Neptune ~ adding her emotional energy to Neptune’s boundary free waves of submerging us, capsizing us, and sinking our ship. Talk about a WHOOSH! The emotional temper tantrums taking place all over the world get extra lunar fuel from the full moon. Saturn is hanging with the Sun and finding his light is blocked, his ability to shine darkened and his sense of optimism and sense of self saddled with fear. I would much rather the full moon be reversed: Moon with Saturn and Sun with Neptune ~ but it is not to be! Our collective and our individual realities will have an exceptionally emotional and probably rather over the top experience. As a collective, we will be witness to events ~ remember Aquarius is the sign of the audience for Leo’s performance ~ AND with the March eclipse points being triggered ~ and Saturn is darkening the Sun’s light, we can expect an event or three that makes us gasp even as we awaken to a new and very profound understanding of the fragility and precious nature of life as we know it.

Finally yet importantly, there are NO void moons during USA working hours this week so EVERYTHING COUNTS! Moon is full, very, very fast, and in Saturn’s signs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Use all the things you have learned over the past year on these days. Think of it as a cosmic final exam. Ace the baby by being wise, smart and Saturnian!

I hope that while the world is transforming via temper tantrums and explosions around you, you will be able to find LOTS and LOTS of Saturn to occupy your time and ground the whoosh energy of change! Build those Saturn muscles of yours! Teach everyone you know about doing their Saturn ~ especially if they have a temper tantrum or collapse in fear during the week! Remember know that Kipling poem about keeping your head if all around you are losing theirs…. We are growing up this week.

Monday, Sun joins with Saturn marking the conclusion of a major formative chapter in your life. You are off on your path! Yay! The energy of the full moon today through tomorrow is going to pulse through the world, dissolving existing structures as it sets off Neptune’s and Saturn‘s opposition to each other. The midpoint of Neptune and Saturn is the weakest point of any entity. Between Mars squaring the eclipse Mars and opposing Uranus in the heavens, there can be collapses of existing structures as Mars and Uranus find themselves in mutable signs. Think the Tower card in a Tarot deck. As the emotions and light of the full moon light up the weak spots in EVERY structure, your job is to note the weakness, thank the universe and get busy fixing and patching it before the end of October. However, it is JUST as likely the weakest spot will collapse into a puddle of heaving emotions or pile of dust, shards and dirt in front of you. The structural issues must be addressed before you can go forward. Take it as a message from the gods of change! Change! It might be costly to make the chan
ges but you have to do it. O
therwise, the entire structure will collapse like a house of cards in front of you.

Tuesday the Full Moon energy builds and builds. Mars in Virgo sextiles the over the top Jupiter in Scorpio sending an extra amount of Whoosh energy into the world. I cannot emphasize enough how much what goes around comes around in this configuration! People are NOT going to be operating from their best instincts or higher purposes. DO NOT DO ANYTHING but work your Saturn! Avoid those Jupiter and Neptune crazy, crazed energies. Aquarius moon is cold, detached and observant. Just watch please! Temper tantrum time. Rather than getting into a pushing, pulling, slapping fight, screaming over some silly cosmic toy, conduct yourself in a professional, kind, thoughtful and cogent manner.

Wednesday is the Full Moon. Please read the full moon column on this site for extra information about the energy. Sun opposes Pluto by declination suggesting stock market declines as well as explosions and power struggles around us. Sun forms another Fist of God as he sesquisquares Pallas ~ I do not care HOW righteous you feel about your cause, let caution and Athena deliver the justice deserved. No petty, bitchy behavior. The people involved will sink their own ship if you let them. No acting from a place of whining, neediness or securing your security. Do your Saturn.

Thursday, Mercury aspects Uranus so verbal jabs come home to roost. I hope you kept your mouth shut earlier in the week. I hope that you have been conducting yourself in an above board, Saturn like, professional manner. Sun opposes Neptune by declination, reactivating yesterday’s full moon. Moreover, Mercury enters Leo and Juno enters Virgo sending ripples of old and new energy out through the world. Jupiter forms his part of the Fist of God with the North Node. It is the moment of transformation. After this day, nothing will be the same in your world.

Friday Sun opposes Neptune as Mercury has a biquintile aspect to Pluto. You get it today or tomorrow. You finally understand what this whole year was for and about. Now, Mars in Virgo is making a square to the eclipse from last March. While you cannot SEE the eclipse in the sky any more, its energy exists like a giant stacked bon fire, simply waiting to be ignited. Venus today makes a sesquiquadrate to Uranus. Venus is at 28 Cancer. Uranus is at 13 Pisces ~ same as the March eclipse Mars and current Mars. Now, just put that old finger of God from 1982/83 into the sky and notice the Hammer of Thor pounding away on Saturn and Pluto at 28 of Libra and the fears, anxieties and blocks formed in your psyche back then. Must let go of that old fear. It so holds you back. Go live your life. Evolve.

Saturday Venus leaves Cancer and enters Leo! Yay! As she does, she finds a gift of transformation and beauty from Pluto, kind of like Cinderella and her fairy godmother. Put on your dancing shoes and kick up your heels on the dance floor. Party time. Or nap time if you are too exhausted from the temper tantrums of the week! Lots of exciting energy in the air!

Sunday Mars argues with Uranus so you might be a bit hung over from the party last night. A bit of the hair of the dog that bit you? Mars opposes Uranus by declination ~ technically ending the temper tantrum week. Drive carefully. Venus makes interesting aspects to Juno and Pallas today. Be conscious of what or whom you collaborate with. Or perhaps is just knowingness as Venus leaves Cancer and rolls over the station point of Mercury, Saturn and the moon from last August? Hard to explain but the energy is a culminating one. Like that lovely sleep after an emotionally difficult period is finished. Or the collapse of energy as you fall into your bed of cool, fresh sheets, after a warm shower washes away all the worries of the world. You get the idea. The energy has peaked, finished and resolved. The tantrum subsided. The shift happened.

Mundane: I am anticipating a 9-11 trigger for a similar type or kind of event this week. It will be similar to the Presidential Daily Briefing of August 8, 2001, saying Osama Bin Laden planning to attack the USA or that the hurricanes are coming and the levees will not hold! I hope I am wrong! However, George is back on vacation again! Darn it! We had 9-11 and Katrina on his earlier vacations so what now ~ tactical nukes? Air strikes on Iran? Military revolt? The bird flu? Watch for what you hear in the week ahead. Note your calendar for the future investigative commission that says we were warned this week. Warned about something VERY ugly.

I had a friend traveling through Pakistan in 2001 as 9-11 took place. Bill sat in a bar at a border town between Pakistan and India, watching the Twin Tower disaster footage roll by in a foreign language. He listened to MANY Pakistani bar patrons say to him, “The United States and Israel planned and executed the attack on the Twin Towers!” He replied, “No, don’t be ridiculous! Of course, they didn’t do that!” The men in the bar got exceptionally silent. They all stared at him. He left the bar.

Unfortunately, perceptions shape and form reality. We were given an opportunity to change our behavior as a country for a while now. As the opinion of the world coalesces and shifts, against us, based on our very bad behavior in the world, many Americans remain blissfully unaware of what is taking place right under their noses. The Hammer of Thor shifts and bangs away at the structures we‘ve grown accustomed to and come to believe in. Of course, our corporate media does not cover ANY thing real so Americans would have to surf the internet to see what the rest of the world sees. And our education regarding “history”, as in “repeats itself”, is woefully poor, badly done and inadequate so most of us could not find any of the countries involved on a map much less begin to understand the reasons, religions, wars and tribal realities that go back centuries and shape the evolving conflict. Add in leaders, afraid of dying, deferring or avoiding military service, yet so willing to shed the blood of other people and profit from death, agony and destruction. Arghh! The USA moon in know it all Aquarius in the third house can be so frigging arrogant! Don’t you just hate astrology sometimes?
