The Eclipses are gone! This summer’s intense 8-week Eclipse season concluded officially last night at 11:26 PM Eastern US time with the appearance of the New Moon in Virgo. Because I’ve just returned from traveling, I’m holding my monthly New Moon Manifestation Circle webinar tonight — Friday, September 11th at 7:30 PM Eastern. (You’ll still have plenty of time to complete your New Moon ritual, before the opening square next week.)
As I have been discussing in my daily Cup Full of Stars recordings, we’ve got a number of significant astronomical events going on right now. Jupiter is conjunct the World Point at 15 degrees Leo, making this a week of big news that captures everyone’s attention. The South Node of Releasing is still on Regulus, the king star, bringing losses of leaders and authority figures. (We’ll have to muddle through on our own now.)
In the New Moon chart cast for Washington, DC, the Nodes of Fate are angular in the Tenth and Fourth Houses, bringing us to major choice-points around home and career. What are your key values and priorities right now? Ask yourself, and the answer might surprise you. Uranus, the God of Change, is stationing in the New Moon chart. He’s headed backwards till next year, joining all the other outer planets (Pluto, Saturn, Neptune) in moving retrograde. Revise and revisit. Progress isn’t actually linear most of the time. There may be a side-quest that you need to take care of between now and the second week of December, when both Saturn and Neptune turn direct.
This Virgo New Moon chart also features THREE fateful Fingers of God among its configurations: divine interventions that direct our steps down a new and different path. Stay receptive; keep on listening to your intuition. Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron, and the Nodes are all actively in reminding us of what we had forgotten we said we wanted, or pointing out new dreams and desires we hadn’t even noticed before. Follow the little breadcrumbs!
