3:20 Aries Moon/ Libra Sun

The Full Moon is also a Harvest Moon. It will be especially luminous as it rises above the horizon of earth. The Full Moon is in Aries is always a sign of heightened, flaring emotions as our emotional and security desires feel the pulse and push of Cardinal’s initiating Fire sign. The moon will bring up echoes of the events from eclipsed new moon of March 29, 2006 and December 27, 2006 for the opening quarter test. The full moon will act as culmination for the emotions begun under the powerful eclipse at 18 Virgo earlier in the month.

The Sun in Libra is ruled by Venus in Leo. Venus is approaching her closing, harvesting trine to Pluto in Sagittarius. Venus is talking to two important midpoints involving Saturn. So often we have “dreams” or “desires” that float, ungrounded, in our mind’s eye of what will make us feel nurtured and safe. We wish that our dreams would come true! Saturn is HOW our dreams come true. Saturn is involved with Venus right now. Saturn says to each of us under this full moon, that if you WORK for and toward your dreams, they will come true. If you sit around dreaming and talking about those dreams of yours, without taking any action, you’ll get NADA, nothing, bupkus. Unfortunately, our dreams aren’t like a lottery ticket. You can’t pay a dollar to buy your dream. You have to put your Saturn to work to get your dreams to come true.

Our full moon speaks to those dreams of yours. Venus is in charge of working with your Sun to help Sun articulate what his dream is. Think back to March 2006 and December 2006 to see what you verbalized as your dreams. Now, look at where you are. Where does Saturn need to go and do to get that dream of yours turned into a reality?

Mars in Gemini is the ruler of the Moon in Aries. Mars in Gemini can be a bit indecisive or want to take two paths at the same time. Let Mars do that. The Moon in Aries normally likes a clear, straight trajectory to what it wants. Not now. Mars is in Gemini ~ requiring dual approaches. That means there are at least a few ways to make your dream happen and come true. But you have to be strategic and communicate clearly. No short cuts. No deceptions. No deceit. Gemini Mars sometimes does those things when he is feeling a bit stressed. Gemini is the sign of the trickster after all. The recent transit of Saturn through Leo pointed out what you desire and love. Now that you are clear on THAT, it is time to create a bit of what you desire and love in your every day life. Time to weave what you love into your daily routines. Time to work toward what you and Saturn determined you desired and love, just a little Virgo in Saturn bit, each and every day.

The Full moon has planets all over the place so there is not a single focus for the energy, except the desire to do something, (actually two things) immediately! Mars finished the first of THREE oppositions to Pluto last week. The Mars cycle is important as it rules the Full Moon in Aries’ emotional direction and thus is reflected back in the illumination by the Sun. Mars started his current cycle with Pluto on January 13, 2007.

Now, the story of this full moon will actually have three parts, or chapters. Mars, who is in charge of the Moon, has a total of three oppositions to Pluto, on September 21, 2007, January 2, 2008 and March 7, 2008. That means the story that got you all fired up last week when Mars opposed Pluto lead right into this full moon of illumination. That means that story doesn’t reach a final and concise conclusion until March 2008. Not to despair, just to know you can’t “DO” anything or consider the story completely wrapped up, over, finished or done, until we pass through ALL three parts of Mars opposite to Pluto.

Additionally, Mars and Pluto will both be in NEW signs, Cancer and Capricorn respectively, for the final opposition on March 7th. And both Mars and Pluto will be on the world axis and shouting out the results of their duel or face off in the heavens to the world. I am putting my money on Pluto to win. However, Mars does have many ideas and tricks up his sleeve so let’s see how the story unfolds. If Mars attempts to pull tricks out or be deceitful, Pluto is going to stomp on him. Be warned. Mars has to play it straight. Pluto is in the sign of righteousness. Pluto doesn’t care. And Pluto does it because he can do it. Pluto has HAD it with Mars! Speed, light, tricks, delays, distractions and fancy dancy words only get you so far. Time to put up or shut up, says Pluto to Mars. No cons, no more. You will get caught. And I’ll tell your friends too. It is NOT a time to try to pull tricks or take short cuts. Just deal with plain old Saturn in Virgo. Get to work to fine tune the details and get the job done.

Sun and Venus are in Mutual Reception with each other. That means you can swap their places ~ so it actually is a Moon in Aries opposite Venus in Libra lunation. When Venus and the Moon are in opposition, we have trouble balancing our desire nature with our needs for emotional nurturing. Except that sort of conflict or face off to be part of the energy of the full moon. A face off between what makes you feel safe and what you’d like to do if you were brave and bold enough. Don’t act on it, just note it. It is a fast passing energy that exists to point out your anxiety about whatever the situation is that is lit up by the reflection of the Sun. If we swap the Sun into Venus’ spot, Sun just finished burning off the illusion of Neptune’s fog. Sun sees something clearly under this full moon. Sun is approaching a clear seeing and very powerful trine to Pluto and having a let‘s get to work aspect with Saturn to make his dreams come true if he sits in Venus‘s spot in the lunation. Sun in Leo acts with honor and integrity. That is most important for you to do under the full moon, act with honor and integrity.

Saturn and Mercury are also in Mutual Reception, so we can swap their places in the lunation too. Mercury is in Libra, the sign of Saturn’s exaltation. As we’ve approached the lunation, Mercury and Pluto have been talking about Mars in Gemini and his behavior. Mars in Gemini probably hasn’t been being the most truthful or forthright. Mars in Gemini tends to prevaricate when under stress. Mars has been under stress. Now, prevaricate is a fancy, dancy word for LIE. Much nicer sounding word though, don’t you think ~ prevaricate versus LIE? Or maybe Mars in Gemini left out some very important details?

Mercury has probably been helping Mars get his act together in his face off with Pluto. But remember, Mercury is siding with Saturn, the Lord of Karma. Mercury is working with Pluto about whatever the situation is that is on the table. Mercury is saying, “Hey, Mars, remember what goes around comes around! What you sow you reap! No prevaricating” Mercury doesn’t want to call Mars a liar.

However, Mercury knows that Saturn is approaching that South Node of Loss and Karmic action where we reach a point of no return. Once Saturn drops into that South Node, it is done with. Act with complete and total integrity in the manner at hand. Mercury, if we swap him into Saturn’s spot, is approaching the South node of Loss and Karmic action. There is a final, it is done, and inevitable result about decisions made under this lunation as Saturn approaches the South Node. Make wise decisions for the greater good of your soul. Act with integrity so when you encounter that South Node down the road a piece, you can say, “Hey, South Node, I did it with honor and to the best of my abilities at this time and place in my life.”

Now, a final and very important point arises via the aspect that Saturn and the full Moon in Aries have to each other. Or Mercury and the full moon in Aries have, if you want to swap Mercury into
Saturn’s spot. Moon a
nd Saturn (or mutual reception Mercury) have an inconjunct aspect to each other. It is a SCORPIO type of inconjunct, bringing all sorts of Scorpio issues and anxieties to the matter at hand. Debt, death, destruction, transformation, taxes, annihilation, sex, money owed, mergers, and unions ~ you get the idea.

Scorpio issues are the things we don’t much like talk about. However, in this case, the secrecy of the situation can be quite dangerous. The solution to the Scorpio issue lies in the mutual reception with Mercury. You are supposed to talk about it! If you lined up 10 people WHO KNOW YOU and 10 people who don’t know you, and told them the entire story, what would they say? And we are talking that they get to hear all the various sides of the story, not just your side and your spin. The other guy involved gets to talk too. He gets to say whatever he wants to say about you.

Keep in mind that the situation is going to end up on the world axis ~ in March. Proceed forward with that understanding in mind. The whole world is going to know what happened. Or at least your whole world will know what happened. Or be talking about it. So proceed with that in mind too. Move forward with your best and boldest dreams in hand and heart. It is time to get to work to make your dreams come true in yet a new form.

The Sabian image for the 4 Libra Sun interpreted by Lynda Hill is A GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE SIT IN SPIRITUAL COMMUNION AROUND A CAMPFIRE

Commentary: A ‘Group of Young People Sit in Spiritual Communion Around a Campfire’ symbolizes the need for connecting with and being with others who have similar feelings and shared beliefs. The ‘Group of Young People’ are connected not only through their sense of generation, they ‘Sit in Spiritual Communion’ and are linked through their interests, beliefs and stories. Something that they believe in has drawn them together and this can bring a sense of ‘Spiritual Communion’ to each of them. They can each have a common focus that opens them up to creative and receptive responses.

Oracle: In the situation facing you, there is bound to be a central issue-the ‘Campfire’-that can bring many people, possibly everyone, together. There may be a feeling of being “out there”, in the “wilderness”, but remember that you are not alone. Whether physically, spiritually, mentally or emotionally, others are with you in some sense. Look to the “center”, the ‘Campfire’ that draws you together, to see who or what this is. It can be a belief, a religion, or a reunion of some kind. It can indeed be something as obvious as a ‘Fire’, or it can be something technological, such as the Internet, anything that can bring people together in “a circle”, with a central focus. Loneliness and isolation can be overcome with a little concentrated attention, through joining with others in some kind of ‘Communion’. Lighting a fire, even lighting a candle, can bring joy, pleasure and a sense of ‘Spiritual Communion’. Rekindling energy can lead to a deep sense of bonding and understanding. However, there can be a concern, or fear, that if one’s friends and fellows were to leave the “campsite” (whatever it is that brought you together), one could feel lost, alone and abandoned to life and the elements. The ‘Fire’ can almost become addictive, though, and can lure you away from other things in your life. This can lead to a sense of dependency and sometimes codependency on others. Be sure to recognize your individuality in the situation, and claim your power as an independent, but integral, part of the group.

Keywords: Material concerns left behind. Pioneering with like-minded others. Sweat lodges. Walks in the woods. Scouts and Girl Guides. Men’s groups, women’s groups. ESP. Kindred spirits. Soul mates. Unity. Fellowship. Campfires. Camping. Friends and companions. Spiritual circles.

The Caution: Being dependent on others. Feeling left out. Having to fend for one’s self. Being lost in the wilderness. Obsession with objectives.

In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. Albert Schweitzer

After endless days of commuting on the freeway to an antiseptic, sealed-window office, there is a great urge to backpack in the woods and build a fire. Charles Krauthammer

Even in a time of elephantine vanity and greed, one never has to look far to see the campfires of gentle people. Garrison Keillor

Civilization no longer needs to open up wilderness; it needs wilderness to open up the still largely unexplored human mind. David Rains Wallace

The Sabian symbol for 4 Aries Moon interpreted by Lynda Hill is TWO LOVERS ARE STROLLING THROUGH A SECLUDED WALK

Commentary: ‘Two Lovers’ are shown ‘Strolling Through a Secluded Walk’. This image shows that there’s sometimes a need to escape the realities of the world and touch the deeper feelings of one’s heart. The ‘Secluded Walk’ that the ‘Lovers’ are taking pictures the need for time, solitude or quiet romance. An actual ‘Secluded Walk’ may not be necessary – what is important is the ability to exclude outside energies that interfere with the sharing of intimate time.

Oracle: This Symbol shows that some time should be taken away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday world, even if only for a short while. Sometimes a detour must be taken and the materialistic world put aside in order to share special moments with someone close to you. You may desire, or even need to exclude others or outside energies from your life at the moment. These things may be interfering with what needs to be done in order to solve relationship difficulties and to move forward in life. If you are by yourself in this situation, the solution may lie in taking time off and just being alone and rediscovering yourself. This can open the door to sharing more intimate dimensions of yourself with another person when you feel you’re ready for it. This is especially true if your life has been hectic or confused recently. Sending out an invitation to someone special to share moments of your life may bring more rewards than are immediately apparent. Can you schedule things so that you can afford some time out?

Keywords: Walking love’s path. Secret love affairs. Seeking shelter from others’ eyes. Wanting or needing to be undisturbed. The young at heart. Being by one’s self and wondering where the ‘’other’’ is. Romance. Quiet moments. Seclusion and peace. Intimacy and sharing. Desired destinations. Walking and strolling together.

The Caution: Being ‘selfish’ by keeping one’s partner or friend to oneself. Jealousy when others are around. Feeling ‘left out’ and uninvited. Narrow-minded responses to people or things. Loneliness and/or the desire to be left alone. Denial of self and needs. Not wanting contact. Rejecting those who don’t measure up.

Let there be spaces in your togetherness. Kahlil Gibran

Whether joy or sorrowful, the heart needs a double, because a joy shared is doubled and a pain that is shared is divided. Ruckett

Constant togetherness is fine – but only for Siamese twins. Victoria Billings
