12:58 Scorpio Sun/12:58 Taurus Moon

November’s Full Moon at 12:58 Taurus opposite 12:58 Scorpio takes place as all the major evolutionary and human development planets involved in the fixed t-square are finally moving forward as a World Series Team. The Full Moon fills in the empty Taurus leg of the fixed t-square. Although the emotional lunation taking palce in our fixed cross is a bit wide, it will help us to complete a major evolutionary journey in our lives. Get ready!

It bears repeating that the fixed areas of every chart are the ones most resistant to change. Fixed areas of our lives like themselves just fine thank you very much. The fixed signs are the purest essences of the seasons they represent ~spring, summer, fall, and winter. Who is going to argue that glorious Leo summer is a month of sunshine, playful times, creativity and expansion as we harvest juicy red tomatos from the vine? Would you dispute that fall is full of Scorpio endings and transformation as plants die, birds migrate and leaves change colors and fall off their trees revealing the structure of branches? Each of these seasons, so evocative in our minds, are found in our charts. They represent who we are in our spring, summer, fall and winter essences ~ a very unchanging part of our beings and our charts.

And where does the growing season start? Why Spring of course! Spring is the first season. Spring acts as the beginning part and seeds the rest of the year’s results. What the Universe has been asking you, in its own kind of way, is what sort of crops, including both vegetables and flowers, do you want to plant in your life garden for the next growing season??

As I walked to my accountant to plan next year’s tax strategy, I noticed a bunch of workers planting hundreds of bulbs. Large tulip bulbs. Hundreds of tulip bulbs! Each of bulb will bloom next Spring as a dazzling display of red and gold on my block. But of course! In May of 2000, you decided to change your life and your garden. You planted stuff. What you planted might, or might not, have worked out the way you planned or envisioned. Perhaps the soil was not right. Or maybe your vision of what you could have in your garden was not broad enough. Or perhaps it was TOO broad and you found you could not keep up with all the weeding and the whole mess went back to Mother Nature. Or the deer and the bunnies came visiting in the night to eat all of your favorite plants. Or maybe you were a bit afraid of the whole idea of being in charge of your own life and your own garden because of what happened to you back in Fall of 1982 when you figured out a major purpose of your life and were rather scared of it.

Well, you are in charge of your very own life! You are in charge of your very own garden! Now, right now, you are in the position, after the last years wonderful, terrible, mixed up and interesting learning experiences to pick. The big planets traveling in the fixed signs are asking you to consciously plant what you want in your life’s garden. I want you to take a bit of time on this Full Moon to think and dream about your future. Between now and the New Moon in two weeks, dream, wish and doodle about what you want in your garden for the next growing season of your life. Plant your tulip bulbs! Start planting stuff! The stuff you plant now will lead to your next major growth spurt. The Full Moon combined with the next few weeks of our Mercury retrograde in Scorpio over all the personal planets were designed by the Universe to help you create your life. This is the time for you to envision what you want and verbalize it to the Universe. Decide what to keep in your garden. Decide what to pull out of your garden. Decide what colors and textures you want. Decide the shapes. Decide the plants, bushes and trees. Do you want to cut down a dead tree to create more sunshine? Do you want to plant a red elm in the back for shade at a future date? Did a major tree just tip over in your forest to create a clearing of sunshine in a formerly shady place? Do you want to plant a bunch of bulbs? What? What do you want your garden and your life to look like? Make a list.

Translate that doodling, designing and planning energy into your life. Do you want to move? Do you want a new job? Do you want a new relationship? Do you want a baby? Do you want to improve, modify or change the relationships you have in your life? Do you want to pluck a couple of suckers? Where do you want to direct your energy and your growing essence?

Now, an enormous word caution! This is an exceptionally magical time in the heavens! All the planets are moving forward. There is a pile of energy flying around in the fixed signs. Those very same FIXED signs that created all of the FIXED THINGS in your life are in the mood to have a earthquake (a nice earthquake) and create a bunch of new FIXED THINGS in your life! Taurus is a fixed earth sign. I want you focusing your considerable energies on POSITIVE version of what you want! Not the ‘I hate my job’ NEGATIVE version. The ‘I want a job that embraces my skills and lets me xyz’ POSITIVE version. Not the ‘No one loves me’ NEGATIVE version. The ‘I attract love to myself in proportion to the way I love myself’ POSITIVE version. Not the ‘I don’t have any money and will always be poor’ NEGATIVE version. The ‘I am increasing the amount of money flowing into my life’ POSITIVE version. Direct that earth quake energy to move a mountain in your life.

The Universe is listening to see if you figured out how you create your reality by what you decide (or do NOT decide) to plant in your life. The Universe will be checking into see if you got it. Now, what we plant in our lives are often “UNCONSCIOUS” things which are planted by our fears. The purpose of the last year or so was to get you tuned into that fear energy. The purpose of the last year or so was to get you to banish that fear energy. Or perhaps understand the purpose of the fear and use it as fuel to move you toward what you want and away from what you don’t want. You have to see your Saturn from a slightly different perspective. You‘ve gotten well acquainted with your Saturn. Saturn can be what you are afraid of. Saturn is also the thing that calls you. Saturn is what you most love to do. So go do your Saturn. He has been waiting for you.

Now for the astrology part of the Full Moon! A fixed grand cross is a very big bundle of energy flying around in the sky and sending change to earth. The full moon forms a fast moving fixed cross with the t-square in the sky. Expect major changes in our world over the next few weeks. For the last year or so Saturn, Neptune and Jupiter have been traveling in the fixed t-square, occasionally boosted into a fixed grand cross by something zipping through the Taurus house. The three big boys send their considerable energy out the empty leg into the Taurus house. Taurus is Spring, earth, manifestation in form. The Full Moon is going to be receiving the energy of the t-square. The big boys have been pulsing energy toward that Taurus house of yours, hopefully, with your conscious help and certainly via the recent events in your life. Look at the Taurus part of your chart to see what has been undergoing change and evolution due to the Fire Saturn, Air Neptune and Water Jupiter t-square sending creation and evolution energy to Earth’s Taurus. Remember, manifesting in FORM has to have Air, Fire and Water to create ANYTHING.

All three of the big boys, Saturn, Neptune and Jupiter are moving forward, together, IN unison, AND talking to each other. They are talking to Pluto too! The three big boys head forward together until Saturn stations to go retrograde on December 6, 2006 at 25:04 Leo. Each of them are paying attention and focused on doing their thing, playing their role in your life and helping you create what you’d like. Once Saturn stations,
he is going to revise a few
more structures in your life to get you what you want. RIGHT NOW, while he is going forward, is the period to completely focus your energy towards your vision of your future.

The fixed t-square has all the personal planets, Mars, Venus, Sun and Mercury, supporting and approaching the Scorpio Jupiter, or the emotional and water portion of the t-square. Those four planets will be contributing their considerable energies towards Jupiter’s part of the t-square over the next month. Emotions and feelings will be running high, fast and fluid. Turbulent emotions create things RAPIDLY! Focus your considerable creation energy toward positive emotion, versions and visions of what you want. Fire and air create the image and spark the idea. Until the fluid nature of feeling or emotions get behind fire and air, they are merely ideas in the sky, sand castles in the air, or dreams of a future. The feeling nature of water is what brings the air and water down to earth to moisten and help the earth create the physical form in your world.

Now, with that much planetary weight going toward Jupiter as it travels through Scorpio, it is especially important to do your Saturn. Do your Saturn to slow down the watery whoosh and to create the positive version of your future. No fear statements. No negative pictures of reality. No saying “That is the way my life has always been!” Yes, IT has been THAT way because you believed it needed to be THAT way. Change the belief you hold. Apply the emotional water of Jupiter and the other watery planets in Scorpio towards transforming your world. Send energy toward any areas of your life right now. All that water and emotion will create things very rapidly!

The Full Taurus Moon and Scorpio Sun are conjunct the Venus/Mars midpoint. Mars in loves to be in his rulership of Scorpio. He gets what he wants in a very determined and direct Mars manner. Venus in Scorpio, while not 100% enamored of that sign, is very clear about what she wants if a bit demanding and controlling. Mars in his Ruler is in charge of Venus in Scorpio. That makes Venus in Scorpio very clear in her ability to direct Mars to go get what she wants.

Venus and Jupiter’s midpoint falls on the retrograde Mercury in Scorpio. Venus/ Jupiter in aspect to retrograde Mercury suggest you be VERY CAREFUL and VERY CLEAR about what you say you want or wish for. That is a bundle of magical, creative, transforming energy! Mercury equal to Venus and Jupiter combined says what you say you want you’ll get. Write whatever the NEGATIVE version of what you have in your life into a new, POSITIVE version! Missing Love? No more saying “No one loves me. Everyone hates me. It is time for me to go eat worms.” You will find a big old pile of worms. Say instead, “I have enough love in my life for right now AND the love in my life is GROWING, expanding and changing towards what I want to create.” Feeling poor? No saying “I am always broke and poor. I hate my job.” Say instead, “I have enough money for now. Abundance is GROWING, expanding and changing in my life towards creating a job and work I love.” Get the idea? Take the time to teach every person you hear sending energy toward creating negative things in their lives.

Finally, Jupiter is moving, as well as all the Scorpio planets, towards a lovely closing trine to the North Node in Pisces. The North Node moves you toward your path for the next 19 years. Water trines create movement, abundance and are virtually magical in the way they link and connect things up. Pluto is square to the nodes of destiny saying pick between the Piscean vision or Virgo service. Don‘t do the sacrificial Pisces stuff or the worry Virgo stuff. Pluto’s square to the Virgo South Node says do the work, make the list, analyze the details and plan the plans. Pluto’s square to the Pisces North Node says after you do the work, let go and let it flow. Move towards your spirit’s call, not the worry part of your being. Saturn is approaching a trine to Pluto. The fire trine between Saturn and Pluto adds passion and vision to the emotional energy of Jupiter in the last degrees of Scorpio. Jupiter and Pluto are in mutual reception with each other so they have a special dialogue going on. Mars and Pluto are in mutual reception with each other so they have a special dialogue going on. Mutual receptions amp up the energy as both planets flip back and forth between the energies. Focus on doing the things you love to get what you want. Jupiter/Pluto and Mars in mutual reception to each other imply you can get very big results for very minimal effort right now.

Onto Lynda Hill’s interpretation of the Sabian Images for our full moon. The full moon at 13 Taurus evokes the image of a ‘A PORTER CARRYING A MOUNTAIN OF HEAVY BAGGAGE’

Commentary: The ‘Porter’, otherwise known as a baggage handler or bellboy, has a lot of work to do. He is performing a service for others and here he is seen having ‘a Mountain of Heavy Baggage’ to move or ‘Carry’. He needs to remain cheerful and not reveal how much this ‘Mountainous’ load is weighing him down; otherwise he may not get the approval of those he is carrying the load for. There would be no thanks and no “tips” if he were to complain, groan or grumble. ‘Porters’ do a lot of hard work but don’t often get much appreciation or attention. They are expected to just get on with the job, sometimes they become almost invisible.

Oracle: There may be a load or a heavy burden to bear. It may be your own burdens or could indeed be other people’s. Be careful that you are not doing too much for others as you may be carrying their burdens for them. You could end up just helping people to hang on to their extra ‘Baggage’ through your desire to help out, be useful and share the load. This can be a problem, weighing them down when you are not available, and of course it can weigh you down emotionally, as well as physically. It may be that others are expecting you to shoulder their responsibilities. Having so much to ‘Carry’ can lead to bad posture, bad backs or a distorted infrastructure. Are you going from one burdening experience to another? For some people, to have the service of a ‘Porter’ can be a pleasant and well-earned respite from their daily struggles. For others, there can be the expectation that someone else will always shoulder the load. That may be okay in a hotel or a train station, but how appropriate is it in everyday life? This Symbol can also be an expression of class-consciousness. Don’t let yourself be used to carry other people’s “stuff”.

Keywords: Self-reliance. Owning other people’s ‘garbage’. Shouldering baggage or weight. Being weighed-down. Feeling responsible for everything. Bad backs and posture. Carrying others. Counseling people, taking on their emotions. Bad backs, shoulders, knees, etc. Strain and wear. Bearing the family guilt.

The Caution: Being busy with other peoples’ problems. Unable to work for your own benefit. Carrying other peoples’ responsibilities. Being indispensable until the energy is all worn out. Not knowing when to say “no” to other’s demands. The burden of debts.

Everyone thinks his own burden heavy. French Proverb

The burden which is well borne becomes light. Ovid

Do not free the camel of the burden of his hump; you may be freeing him from being a camel. Gilbert K. Chesterton

No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of it to anyone else. Charles Dickens

Your body is the baggage you must carry through life. The more excess baggage, the shorter the trip. Arnold Glasow

RESPONSIBILITY, n. A detachable burden easily shifted to the shoulders of God, Fate, Fortune, Luck or one’s neighbor. In the days of astrology it was customary to unload it upon a star. Ambrose Bierce

Almost everybody walks around with a vast burden of imaginary limitations inside his head. While the burden remains, personal success is as difficult to achieve as the conquest of Everest with a sack of rocks tied to your back. J. H. Brennan

The Sun at 13 Scorpio invokes the Sabian image of ‘AN INVENTOR PERFORMS A LABORATORY EXPERIMENT’

Commentary: ‘An Inventor’ is seen ‘Performing a Laboratory Experiment’. It’s hard to know from this Symbol whether he is alone or working with others. Regardless of the circumstances, he has to take responsibility for the outcome. The ‘Inventor’ has to imagine what is possible, gather the necessary ingredients and be willing to take a risk on whether things will work out or not. His ‘Experiment’ may prove to be successful, scary or downright dangerous and risky. If the ‘Inventor’ is doing something new and untried, he must be prepared to step out into unknown territory, and be prepared for the whole thing to blow up in his face. The ‘Experiment’ may fail; he may have to start all over again with a new set of plans.

Oracle: If things are not working at the moment you probably need to ‘Experiment’, trying different combinations and possibilities. In doing so you will not only most likely find the solution to the situation, but you will also learn a lot from any errors that are made along the way. Look for creative solutions to the situation facing you. A lot of amazing discoveries can be made simply by having a go at something or creating the right mix of ingredients. As the situation unfolds, you’ll learn clues as to what should be the next thing to do, the tasks that are worth performing or the risks that you are prepared to take. Be prepared to be inventive and make things up as you go along. Sometimes we have to just “go for it” and do what we feel needs to be done without knowing what the outcome is going to be. Take a few calculated risks and along the way, you just might discover something unexpected.

Keywords: Creating one’s vision. Thinking quickly and making momentary decisions. Being prepared to risk failure. Bringing different mixes of things and/or people together. Taking calculated risks to see what will happen. Seeing if things live up to expectations. Looking for answers. The “mad professor”. Mixing chemicals. Measuring and weighing. Going by one’s gut reactions. Inventions and experiments.

The Caution: Becoming obscured by pointless goals. Making things up. Being one-eyed and focused to the exclusion of all else. Not fully understanding the consequences of actions. Always taking risks. Not taking adequate cautions. Not keeping track of what you’re doing. Ignoring warning signs. Being a “mad professor”.

Westheimer’s Discovery: A couple of months in the laboratory can frequently save a couple of hours in the library. Anon

Discovery is seeing what everyone else has seen and thinking what no one else has thought. Albert Szent-Gyorgi

Science is the tool of the Western mind and with it more doors can be opened than with bare hands. It is part and parcel of our knowledge and obscures our insight only when it holds that the understanding given by it is the only kind there is. C. G. Jung

If you shoot for the stars and hit the moon, it’s OK. But you’ve got to shoot for something. A lot of people don’t even shoot. Robert Townsend

Name the greatest of all the inventors. Accident. Mark Twain

Formula for breakthroughs in research: Take young researchers, put them together in virtual seclusion, give them an unprecedented degree of freedom and turn up the pressure by fostering competitiveness. James D. Watson

As we move forward into the robust energy of the full moon, remember to put down your burdens, cares, blocks and worries by the side of the road. The fixed grand cross will take care of them while you are busy. Focus your intention on what you want to create. Then, sit back and watch your world change right before your very eyes…..
