And a lovely week blooms and beckons to us! The holiday season is upon us! Lights, tinsel, presents, carols, cookies, Santa and snow. It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! With the kids jingle belling and everyone telling you "Be of good cheer". It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! It’s the hap-happiest season of all! With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings when friends come to call. It’s the hap – happiest season of all! There’ll be parties for hosting. Marshmallows for toasting and caroling out in the snow. There’ll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago. It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! And now that you’ll have THAT song playing in your head all day long (hee-hee), let’s talk about the cosmic week ahead! Uranus is moving forward, starting the movie of your life back up again. Uranus is bringing up last March for you to remember. Uranus is rustling up your feelings from back then to remind you of your dreams, especially the dreams which have been postponed, delayed or held up. Remember back to March? Remember when the Sun in Pisces and Moon in Virgo danced with Uranus and the nodes of destiny? That eclipse at 13 mutable waking all of them up? Uranus was joined to the North Node of your dreams, path and future direction as the Sun lit the way forward in a flash of brilliance. Back then your path or way might not have been as clear as your vision is now ~ you‘ve been working hard since then. Or perhaps your vision WAS more clear then? And since Uranus has been moving backwards starting in June, well, your vision has faded and become less clear, a bit more cloudy, or perhaps further from your reach? Think back to March. Compare it to now. What has changed? Where are you? Where are your dreams?
Since March, the nodes have steadily moved backwards, through Pisces, the path of our vision, soul, numinous links and profound connectedness and Virgo defining how we can actually DO what we think we want to do. Virgo asks us how the heck do we plan to get it all together and actually KEEP it together? It seems, at times, like you are trying to juggle howling cats! Last week’s full moon lit up the Virgo/ Pisces nodes again as Uranus stationed to go direct. On the full moon, the Sun was in happy, content and changeable fire while Moon in Gemini found it hard to articulate his profound feelings and get them into words.
What did you see under the full moon and over the long holiday weekend? You’ve perhaps learned that the dream of yours from last March might take a bit more work to create and form in the world? It will. It always does. It takes time to make those profound dreams of ours into realities in our lives. We don’t have that things take time perspective supported very much in our culture. It all seems “instant” and “immediate” or we don’t want to wait.
Well, you can’t have 9 women pregnant for one month to make a baby. You have to have one woman pregnant for 9 months. You are about to get pregnant! I am here to tell you that whatever you figured out isn’t going to come into form until next summer (at the bare minimum) when Saturn gets back to the degree of the lunation of this full moon.
I can almost hear you moaning. NEXT JULY!!! (Actually your due date is August 2nd but who is counting?) Yep. Saturn is about to stop in the sky. He’s going to go backwards to 1:41 Virgo. He is going back to where he was on September 16th until May 2, 2008. Saturn’s not going to get back to where he is in the heavens right now until then next July. So essentially, you have a giant, Saturn kind of cosmic do-over coming your way. A cosmic pregnancy. Nine long months. Might as well be patient. Might as well get to work on your stuff (focus on your important stuff). Have a great holiday month. Plan your next 13 years ~ you know that vision thing you’ve been feeling ~ sit down and think about what you actually would like to create in your world. You are officially about to get pregnant with your next life. It is now time to get to work integrating and settling into all the changes a coming in your life with this new part of you getting birthed.
The cycle that started in December 1994 at 28 Scorpio is finishing up over the next few weeks. A new cycle is starting, in your 28th degree of Sagittarius, as Jupiter the planet of abundance, community, and expansion merges with Pluto the planet of profound transformation, riches and evolution. The two of them, Jupiter and Pluto, are meeting on the center of the Universe, the Galactic Center. How cool is that? Yes, it is definitely a vision thing! Take time this week to focus on your vision of the next 13 years of your life. What would you like to have in your world? No, it doesn’t have to be locked in stone but an idea, a vision, an inspiration, a goal to shoot for or a quest for your soul, spirit and being to hold in your heart, hand and head. Give yourself time to dream. Maybe even write down the dreams you are already having? They are talking to you.
Monday Venus has a trine of joy, peace and dreams to Neptune. Moon in Cancer has a working aspect to Saturn suggesting you focus on the how to of how to. If you have a plan, it is easy. You know this. Dream big!
Tuesday is a RATHER large bit of squabbly, squawky, horn honking kind of energy as both Mars and Pluto have sesquiquadrate aspects to the partnership and creation asteroids. Sesquiquadrates are energetically what they sound like. If you say it slowly and clearly, you get, hear and understand all the syllables ~ ses-qui-quad-rate. If you try to say it fast, it is a jumble of sound ~sesqui&^%&^rat. It sounded like “ses-q*&^*wer rat” to me when I first heard people rolling it off their tongues rapidly ~ sewer rat with a middle name ~ what a lovely concept! And THAT is what the energy feels like too. Go too fast and it gets all bollixed up. Do it slowly and deliberately and Voila you get all sorts of stuff finished and accomplished. It is a square with stress. Or stress with a square. You can get stuff done but jeese it is a process. Nothing is easy. Mars has a very angry aspect with Chiron so expect folks who you think of as nice and kind to sort of lose it today! Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. That is the best thing to do. Adjust. And, whatever you do, please don’t take it personally. You happened to be in their way when they weren‘t feeling nice and kind.
Wednesday we are all a bit happier with Moon in Leo and the day has reasonably pleasant aspects. You can be a bit blindsided if you aren’t careful. It is one of those days where you tell the story from yesterday and the person listening to it makes a snarky comment back at you. Mercury in Scorpio you know. Mercury in Scorpio in a Ses-qui-quad-rate aspect to cranky Mars in Cancer. Laugh. Be jolly. Let that Leo Moon roar with laughter at the snarky remark. Life is too short to let the bastards get you down.
Thursday Mercury joins with Juno. We partner with an interesting level of intensity today. I like days like this as I tend to get a lot accomplished. Take a moment to clear up the clutter around you so you can get ever more done. While you are clearing or cleaning, Sun has an aspect of brilliance to Neptune. Yes! It is a FAB-U-LOUS idea!! Put it in your vision book and on your to-do list. Venus has a Ses-qui-quad-rate aspect to Saturn. Venus is on the world axis and looking to have a bit of a fight with Saturn ~ smile sweetly and move along. Stress with a square. Square with stress. Mercury is in his last degrees of Scorpio so the desire to take a cheap shot back will be enormous! What is the point? Why even play
with them? Walk away.
Friday Sun squares Saturn. Have you ever noticed when someone is irritated with you but you are laughing and having a grand old time, that it makes them even MORE irritated with you? Mercury has a 12th house aspect to Pluto as well as an aspect of brilliance with Chiron. If someone is irritated with you (or you are irritated with them) this is one of those days where it can escalate quickly. So walk away. My mother always managed to tune me out when I was being a difficult and argumentative, ses-qui-quad-rate like teenager. She’d pick up the phone and call her friend Bernie, completely ignoring me and my Scorpio mood. And the two of them would laugh, giggle and carry on like a couple of happy fools. It drove me absolutely crazy. I wanted her to fight with me! So, I suggest you do the same today. Carry your I-pod with good music on it. Or merely hum out loud. Or open your book and laugh, merrily, right out loud. It will drive them simply mad!
Saturn’s day Mercury leaves Scorpio and heads off into Sagittarius. Now Mercury doesn’t like being in Sadge as there is too much to do, learn, remember or keep track of so he loses things like his papers and keys. That said, the intensity and drama of Mercury in Scorpio officially ends today! Hip-hip-hooray. Moon in Virgo suggests you can get a great deal accomplished even if you forget your keys or lose your papers. Mercury ruled by Sagittarius has a tendency to over do too! If you have 10 parties scheduled for today, make sure to add extra travel time or carry your cell phone. You are going to be delayed, late or get stuck in traffic.
Sunday Mercury has aspects to the nodes of destiny. Watch who you meet today (or yesterday and tomorrow too) as they are important for the next part of your journey. Venus has lovely aspects with Jupiter and Ceres so seek out wise women and men for guidance, creativity and nurturing. Or be one yourself. Mars and Sun are in a bit of an argument aspect so our men folks (and our desire natures) are going to be a bit hot under the collar and need to adjust. Adjust. Adjust. The problem is the ruler of Men and action, Mars, is STILL retrograde, and STILL out of bounds and STILL in a sign he doesn‘t much like. At least Mars is not annoying the moon any more! Mars is actually in a Finger of God most of this week with the Sun and Chiron so there is an element of fatedness to the events of the week, particularly if you have things at the degrees of 11 Cancer/ Capricorn. Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. All part of the process of molding you into the next chapter of your life. Take good care of your self! Remember, it is the most wonderful time of the year!
Mundane: It occurred to me that in 1994 the internet wasn’t even a figment in most of our minds. Think of what has happened since 1994 as the digital world has exploded all around us. All the new words like website, dotcom, bloggers, cyberspace, world wide web. Amazon is about to launch a product call “kindle” which makes books portable, digital and deliverable over the networks we use with our cell phones. Newsweek compared “kindle” to the invention of the printing press by Gutenberg over 500 years ago. Books went from being hand copied to printed in mass. Now, with “kindle” libraries are in our hands.
And those big old nasty media corporations don’t want to pay our striking writers for their work distributed over the digital network? Will the big old nasty media corporations go the way of Church who didn’t want Gutenberg to print the bible as people might actually READ it? Revolution is upon us. Pluto in Capricorn beckons. Forward we go!
