Weekly Weather March 21, 2011
Our world continues to move in wild and unpredictable ways as Sun enters Aries and joins with Uranus. The power of ego centered, “I AM!” Cardinal, action taking Fire passions joined with the crazy, wild and unpredictable energy of Uranus rolling around in the same energy offers us a week of taking action to get things moving in our lives.
Certainly, we have a few more endings coming over the next two weeks. This week we’ll start to see where we are actually heading. We’ll have the sense of shaking off our sadness and moving towards new beginnings. The fire and desire to fight, take action or DO something will rise through our veins like sap rises in the trees heralding a new season of life beginning. The Sun crossed the equator, heading north, marking a season change. Time to begin anew. There is hope again. There is the chance to build our future and follow our dream.
Cupido stations and goes retrograde this week offering us an opportunity to reassess our groups, tribes and families of choice or origin. What is our vision of what we want to create with the people we “hang out” with? How do we like how we are spending the precious time that is our life? Are we supported by the people in our world? Are we disparaged or disappointed by them? What do we want our relationships to be like? I keep hearing people talking about their changing relationships with people who have been in their lives for 12, 14, 19, 29, and even 40 or 50 years ~ all those time spans are reflected in the changing planets dancing above our heads. We are each being asked to choose and to change.
So take a deep breath and vision what you want for your future. Choose. Change. Speak your truth ~ to the people in your life or to your inner being that is waiting quietly for you to decide what to do. If you listen to your soul, you will hear the answer.
Mercury is in his shadow approaching his retrograde next week. Words spoken now, particularly harsh, argumentative, discordant, or difficult words will come back to haunt you. So proceed with caution. Speak to the vision of what you want to move TOWARD. Do not dwell on all the problems that are dancing around. Come up with an action plan of who, what, where, when, why and how and communicate THAT instead of rehashing the past.
Someone I know recently had a falling out with a friend of 14 years. In the email exchange, not ONE word was written that spoke of their future. It was all attack, attack, attack and shifts of the responsibility from one side to the other. All the written complaints were a rehash of every perceived, real or imagined slight ~ including events that were supposedly long ago apologized, forgiven and resolved.
If you find yourself or some else in the mood to “throw the kitchen sink” into an argument, MAKE YOUR SELF STOP. Instead of a rehash of the old stuff, YET AGAIN, take a new approach and head towards the conversation with gratitude. What did you learn from them? What did they learn from you? No anger. Just clarity.
Aries energy can de-evolve and dip into fight, fight, fight. OR Aries energy can be the master planner, initiator and strategic thinker plotting the path for the rest to follow.
Take that Aries energy and direct it towards initiating something, planning your big picture or getting something to start and go forward. What is the vision? Aries loves to have a plan! What is the plan?
Saturn retrograde has a sesquiquadrate to both Neptune and Ceres at the last degrees of Aquarius this week. The power or authority part of each of us is going to want to boss around the other guy’s dream or plan to create the life they want to create. It is THEIR plan. It is not about your plan for their life. They have a perfect right to have their own plan for their own life. So be quiet already. Listen to their plan. Ask good and helpful questions to clarify what they are actually trying to do. And offer no criticisms or suggestions that could derail their plan.
Aries needs to have a plan. Make a plan rather than fighting about silly stuff.
And NO, they don’t get to tell you THEIR plan for YOU. YOU say your plan for yourself. THEY say their plan for THEMSELVES. Then, some where in the middle of the TWO sets of plans, there are places where you join up with them and they join up with you.
Venus in Aquarius asks us to detach and not take things personally. When the other guy starts telling you what to do, thank them and ask them what their plan is for themselves. Don’t argue with them that you don’t want their plan for you. Ignore that part of the conversation. Focus on what the plan is that YOU want to do. Get them talking about their plan they have for themselves. No bossing you around about their plan for you!
Next week is a very, very difficult week. This week we have the opportunity to come up with a healing vision or plan that we can hold onto over the next couple of weeks when all hell breaks loose. So make sure to envision the vision.
When the World Trade Center blew up, my friend Pam was in the second tower. She woke up out of the shock she was in watching the fire burn and people jump to leave and evacuate when they said over the public address system “The building is safe. Don’t leave!” She left! She got out in time. The tower collapsed behind her, covering her with toxic concrete dust. All the long, long, long walk home, over 10 miles to 87th Street and First Avenue, Pam kept thinking about “Walnut Creek” ~ a house she had seen for sale on the internet the day before. That internet ad helped her get home. And now Walnut Creek is her home.
We all need a vision of what can happen in our future. Work on creating your vision this week. Venus joins with Neptune asking us for our vision. She’s the gal in charge of getting us what our heart desires. So give Venus a list of your desires this week and let her get to work on them.
And yes, you read that right. All hell breaks loose over the next few weeks as Mars comes to join Uranus on the world axis and Neptune enters Pisces. So get your vision ~ at least a bit of crystal clear THIS WEEK so you can hold on to your vision over the next few weeks.
Monday, the Moon’s day, March 21, Moon in Libra ends with a lovely trine to Venus ~ helping our dreams come true for actions begun Saturday and Sunday at 2:35 pm EDT, goes void and enter Scorpio at 3:17 pm. Cupido stations to go retrograde asking us to revise our vision and how we function in our chosen or inherited groups, tribes and family between now and the end of August. Saturn says we are not able to “FORCE” someone to care for what we used to care for ~ no matter HOW much we want to. Use that feeling of stress with the ability to take action to offering nurturing to something or someone that actually needs it. And be clear about the KIND of nurturing you or they need. If you ask, they will help. Sun joins with Uranus today illuminating the recently shifted Uranus about the ego needs we have been working so hard to get clear on over the past year. Or perhaps instead of ego which can have negative connotations, substitute the word “individuate”. What do you need to individuate? What do you need to move toward your authentic dream for yourself? Ceres enters Pisces asking each of us to deeply nurture that which truly NEEDS nurturing. First take care of your needs. Second, focus on what you can do to help the others in your world. Mercury asks us to adjust our vision of partnerships so we each can expand our energetic circle of influence. Mars joins with Hades to make us understand we each create our own hell on earth when we are not clear about what or where we are. Mars Day Tuesday March 22 Moon in Scorpio is VERY intense. Today is an intense and emotional day. Go with the flow. Focus on what you can accomplish. Release whatever you can’t accomplish. People are crabby too. So just keep your own thoughts to yourself. Mercury wants to connect with the bigger vision of what it can be or do so encourage him to reach out. You can also reconnect with people you’ve lost touch with today. Partnerships can be fraught with real or imagined stress. Take a deep breath. Again focus on moving toward your plan, not away from it.
Mercury’s day, Wednesday March 23 Moon continues in Scorpio today adding more passion to the mix of energy. It is a busy day as Moon squares the late planets in Aquarius asking you to make non-emotional decisions about emotional matters. Vesta wants to clear out her house of old, unwanted, broken or battered items. Let them go. Put sticker dots on them to mark them for the weekend run to the thrift store. No packing up today ~ use the energy for passion and planning. If you don’t love it, dump it, using Venus’ square to the end of matters Admetos in Taurus. HOW LONG has that been hanging in your closet getting absolutely NO use, just taking up space. My friend Julie orders a dumpster once a year to clear out her excess stuff accumulated via her busy life. While you might not be up for a dumpster, there is definitely some stuff that can find a new home. The evening is rocking as the Moon enters Sagittarius at 4:45 pm EDT and trines Sun and Uranus. Give yourself an adventure tonight. You have energy to burn so put it to good use. Venus joins with Neptune to talk to you and your heart about a new dream. It isn’t that you have to discard your old dream but you are where you are now so what is your dream for now? So often we waste our lives by “when I lose weight”, “when I graduate”, “when the stars align”, “when I get over my fear” or “when I get this or that change done THEN I will…” In the meantime, you could be swept away by a wave in an instant. What ARE you waiting for? This is your life! You have to live it. Not wait for it to start someday down the line in the future. Today is a bad day for road rage so watch out when driving.
Thursday, Jupiter’s day March 24 Moon in Sagittarius is productive in the late afternoon early evening making those times excellent for connecting meetings with others or planning your future. Moon works with Saturn and Jupiter to get them to cooperate with the bigger picture of where you are going. Think back to June 2000 when this idea came into being in the first place. Now make the needed tweaks to it. Mercury joins with Eris the goddess of discord so folks can be mighty cranky. Redirect that angry energy towards accomplishing something rather than fighting with it. No fighting ~ plan, envision and drive toward your dream. Today is a bad day for road rage so watch out when driving. Saturn perfects his stressful aspect with Neptune so a dream can feel like it is dying today. The dream isn’t actually dying but you are seeing the reality behind the dream. Back in 1989 you started this dream. Now you see it for what it is ~ both good and bad. When we start moving toward our dreams often we don’t realize what we will experience when we get there. I am paraphrasing what Rosie O’Donnell said it in an interview: “I dreamed I would be famous. I just didn’t realize what that dream meant. Or what it would entail.” Today you realize what your dream meant and what it entails. And the problems inherent in your dream. And the gifts you have received from your dream. Venus works with the Nodes of Destiny in a positive manner so pay attention to who you meet and who you love today.
Venus’ day Friday March 25 Moon in Sagittarius is fast moving and frisky today but able to get a great deal accomplished today as she aspects all the late planets before going void at 9:25 pm. EDT. She’s working hard with positive aspects for the most part. You might find yourself in the mood to fight with someone around 11 am but resist the temptation. Mercury joins with Saturn offering guidance from your authority figures as well as your dreams. Venus is active and looking for love as she moves closer to Neptune and gets energized. You are able to organize things magnificently this afternoon ~ clear patterns for things in piles or how to approach projects. Go for it. There is energy to burn today so use it to accomplish stuff dawdling on your to-do list. Release old things you no longer need and send them off to new homes or the recycle pile. Again, you have energy to burn today so let it rip. Or better yet, catch on fire.
Saturn’s day March 26 “There is in life’s complexities a simple moment that unfolds and holds all others. It invites us to walk and be on the journey that leads to our authentic life.” Daniel Reilly Today as Venus joins with Neptune, take time to reflect on the journey that is your life. Take time to find the authentic image or vision that unfolds your life. Moon in Capricorn wants us to ground in reality and to pick a path we can follow with an open heart. Moon joins with Pluto mid-day suggesting an emotional truth that might be difficult surfaces. Hold on to your dream or vision of what your authentic life wants to be. Moon has a sextile to Mars so things begun today are able to be acted upon and accomplished. Venus in late Aquarius also talks to Jupiter asking him for a bit of advice. Take advice given to you today. It is good. Notice your dreams, particularly around partnerships and families upon awakening. Patterns are changing as old routines and rituals are falling away like dead leaves off of a tree. Create new patterns that support the vision of your life that is coming in. Build structures under your dreams today.
Sun’s day March 27 Moon in Capricorn continues to push us to work with the many changes we’ve had or are contemplating in a productive manner. Notice who you meet yesterday and today as they may be part of your journey forward. Take those addresses! Sun joins with Nodes of Destiny so you are moving forward to your next place or meeting people who will take you there. Clear up your home or place of work. A cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind. Venus enters Pisces, the sign of her exaltation so people are able to connect emotionally and sensitively again. Moon makes a t-square to Jupiter and Saturn so you can feel caught between two extremes that are not getting along too well. Hygeia stations offering us an opportunity to address an old health issue in a new way. The evening can be a bit emotionally sticky as the new sensitivity of Venus brushes up against the argumentativeness of Uranus. Don’t go giving the principle of love and beauty a hard time. Life is too short.
Mundane: The nuclear power reactors continue to leak radiation. Next week we have exceptionally difficult aspects that seem to indicate another major earth quake or nuclear meltdown or nuclear accident.
The Spring Ingress chart cast for Washington, DC (March 20, 2011, 7:21 pm EDT), San Francisco (March 20, 2011, 4:21 pm PDT) and Memphis, TN (March 20, 2011, 6:21 pm CDT seems to indicate an earthquake will be visiting our country’s shores in the year ahead.
The New Madrid fault line, running down the Mississippi river and had a series of major earthquakes in 1811 to 1812, with December 16, 1811 at 2:15 am as the starting quake and the most strong one February 7 1812 at 4:45 am. The first recorded earthquake was December 25, 1699, 1 pm near Memphis, TN. Comparing those three charts to the Spring Equinox finds a preponderance of planetary activity in the early Capricorn degrees, in the fourth house and late Aquarian activity for all the earthquakes.
San Francisco’s 1906 earthquake, April 18, 1906 at 5:12 am PST, has similar correspondences to the Spring Equinox chart cast for San Francisco. The Aries Planets, Sun, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury are all residing in the 8th house for the Spring Equinox chart, while Uranus from the 1906 chart rests on current Pluto.
The following was posted on Real News Reporter on March 12, 2011. The astrology part is accurate.
A new report released today in the Kremlin prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Institute of Physics of the Earth, in Moscow, is warning that the America’s are in danger of suffering a mega-quake of catastrophic proportions during the next fortnight (14 days) with a specific emphasis being placed on the United States, Mexico, Central America and South American west coast regions along with the New Madrid Fault Zone region.
This report further warns that catastrophic earthquakes in Asia and the sub-continent are, also, “more than likely to occur” with the 7.3 magnitude quake in Japan today being “one of at least 4 of this intensity” to occur during this same time period.
Raising the concerns of a mega-quake occurring, this report says, are the increasing subtle electromagnetic signals that are being detected in the Earth’s upper atmosphere over many regions of the World, with the most intense being over the US Western coastal and Midwest regions.
Important to note are that Russian and British scientists are at the forefront of predicting earthquakes based on these subtle electromagnetic signals and have joined in an effort to put satellites in space to detect more of them.
More ominously in this report are Russian scientists confirming the independent analysis of New Zealand mathematician and long-range weather forecaster, Ken Ring, who predicted the deadly Christchurch quake and this week issued another warning of a quake to hit on or about March 20th.
Ring explains his methodology for predicting earthquakes as follows: “The planets very much affect the earth, indirectly, by having an effect on the Sun. Some planets are very large. If the Sun was a basketball the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn would be the size of grapefruits, and the Earth would be, on that scale, the size of a peppercorn. Jupiter and Saturn cause extra tides on the Sun when they get on either side of the Sun (as with Moon – Earth-Sun when the moon is full) and when these gas giants get on the same side as the Sun, (as with Earth -Moon – Sun when the moon is new). These greater solar tides become sunspot activity and solar flares and can be understood as akin to the increase in tides caused by the Moon when it too gets alongside Earth or opposite Earth.
At the moment we have Jupiter and Saturn on either side of the Sun and creating a tug of war with Earth in the middle. That started last September and will continue until about May. In September the Earth was right in line with Jupiter, Saturn and the Sun too.
That’s why there were several 7+ earthquakes around, it wasn’t just us. For instance there was one in Pakistan on the same day as Christchurch. This Jupiter/Saturn alignment continues until about May, and the Earth comes back into line as well in March. It is why there may be an extreme event, perhaps a large earthquake, around 20 March, which is when the Moon may be again in a trigger position.”
(Anne comments: I am thinking it is more likely when Saturn and Jupiter oppose each other over the next two weeks when Mars triggers the nodes, enters Aries and joins Uranus on the World axis; the New Moon in Aries triggers the eclipses, and Neptune leaves Aquarius. Those are “triggering planets” for the setup forming in the heavens.)
According to this report, however, where Ring is correct in assessing blame for our Earth’s earthquakes on the Sun and Planets, his substituting of Perigean Spring Tides (also known as King Tides) for the low pressure systems associated with them may be incorrect. (Anne comments: that is the super full moon we had last week end)
The mention in this report of massive low pressure systems being associated with catastrophic earthquakes is especially dire to the United States Midwestern region, which even today is continuing to be pounded by horrific rainfall amounts, and most especially impacting the New Madrid Fault Zone State of Arkansas which has suffered over 800 earthquakes in the past 6 months alone.
Equally in danger, this report continues, is the South American Nation of Bolivia which has, likewise, suffered catastrophic low pressure system storms that in the past week have killed over 52 people.
Most ominous in this report, though, is its warning that the fault-riddled State of California may be about to suffer its most catastrophic earthquake in decades as new reports for this region show the mass death of millions of fish [photo bottom left] is now occurring, and just like the mass stranding of whales on New Zealand beaches days prior to the February 22nd destruction of Christchurch.
Making the situation for our Planet even grimmer are the reports that our Sun is continuing to spew forth massive solar flares, the latest warned to hit our Earth today or tomorrow thus prompting the Hermanus Space Weather Warning Centre (SWWC) to issue a Solar Flare warning for the Southern Hemisphere.
Interesting to note in all of these events is the United States Army announcing this week that it is holding a rare training event involving the US Military, the CIA, Canadian officers, US Treasury and State departments, the US Agency for International Development, the Defense Threat Readiness Agency and the International Red Cross between March 21-25 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and which should the worst happen they will certainly be prepared for it.
As this report concludes, that as of yet, “no firmly reliable” method for predicting earthquakes has been scientifically recognized, it is well worth noting the too many to be ignored anomalous coincidences leading up to catastrophic mega-quakes are breaking out all over the World and should only be ignored at ones peril.
