Illness (me), a death in the family (Handsome the cat), a hip replacement (my aunt) and flat out running at top speed to keep up with all the commitments in the New Year (me again ~ phew!), the Weekly Weather column will not be up this week of January 20, 2014. It will return on January 26, 2014.
Please add my 84 year old father to your prayers. He had a bad fall the day after Handsome died. He is currently bedridden in pain. His wife lost her balance and fell back on him while changing a smoke detector battery. He broke her fall as they both hit the ground.
