A quiet, productive, and stable week awaits us. Most of our heavenly guides, Mars, Sun, Mercury, Pluto, Juno and Venus, find themselves in Saturn ruled Capricorn or Aquarius. Saturn is asking us to transform our life and steer it in the direction we want to head. Saturn is talking productively with Pluto, in a closing sextile, finishing the story of when they joined up in November 1982. Saturn and Pluto are harvesting the wisdom from back then to move you forward to their next chapter. The results of your life choices are showing up in your life now. Don’t like them? Well that means it is time to change your behaviors to get different results. Like what is going on in your life? Forward, then, to create MORE of it!
Saturn and Pluto are discussing how and where you need change the structures of your life to evolve. It is time to consolidate and integrate the last 30 years of your life. Or better said, Pluto, in Saturn’s sign of Capricorn, is asking his heavenly father, Saturn in Scorpio, for guidance on how to evolve and change. Yes, even planets have fathers ~ at least in mythology. They are working together, hanging out together, chatting, drinking a beer, and watching the clouds move.
So we are having a father/son talk with ourselves. A conference so to speak. A dialogue between our little person and our big person. We are consulting about how to proceed with the wisdom of the ages. However, we are our OWN father/son at the same time. We are taking, remembering, and processing what we learned at our authoritative parent’s knee. It is an internal dialogue of extreme importance this week.
We are figuring out what changes we want to make in our lives, based on that earlier input and ideas we learned. We are in charge of our own life ~ we get to do what we want to create our life the way we want to create it. However, often, we have not so good “programming” which we got from our parents, our culture or our society. Now, we have the opportunity to erase that memory or programming if it no longer serves our essence of what or who we want to become in our next chapter of life. And how we have to change things to have a different outcome:

Venus in serious, somber, consequences, and expensive Capricorn rolls through the Finger of God this week between Monday and Thursday, setting off things from Pluto and the Capricorn leg of the Finger. She stimulated Saturn on November 26, when we were still in eclipse season. Now, Venus stimulating the Finger of God is going to talk to you about HOW to proceed with the transformation process from a Pluto point of view. Generally, this union of Venus and Pluto is a passionate, driven energy, and not particularly troublesome, even if it involves a triangle. However, IF you are having a secret, hidden affair ~ romantic or other kinds ~ this is a set up for being exposed. Tell the truth if it happens and you get caught. They have the goods on you any way so you might as well confess and own up to the story. Eclipse degrees are being triggered. Jupiter at the Apex of the Finger of God gets set off by Venus so cell phone numbers, sextext messages, dinner/hotel receipts, mislaid or bad communications, mail problems, fanny, pocket or purse dialing happens that exposes the affair. You get the idea. Jupiter in Gemini retrograde ~ slowing to a station ~ well, Jupiter, he’s going to rat you out.
As the Finger of God continues to pulse through the heavens, the Sun and Mercury meet up this week on Friday. Mercury combust the Sun makes us crystal clear about what we need to do, what we believe, and what we are moving toward. The Sun and Mercury are clearly and firmly answering to Saturn’s call to transform your life. You’ll have your clear vision. Both Mercury and Sun leave Capricorn to enter Aquarius on Saturday, starting a new 17 and 30 day of experience respectively. Mercury in Aquarius is simply brilliant ~ but more about Mercury next week.
We are going to be living with the Finger of God until the end of March. It DOES get easier as we get used to it. It is all about living in the moment. April wrote a helpful interpretation of the Finger of God and how she works with it:
Finger of God: Lawd Jesus it’s been a rocking time. When you were referring to internet dating and giving a 15 minute slot for a yes or no ~ that was key for me. I suspect one of the things we’re learning to do is “TRUST,” in a way. How that relates to me is, I now “know” in my gut, in my heart of hearts, what’s going to serve my higher purpose, or reflect my ego desires. So, the 15 minutes is right on par with a “yep” or “nope,” around an experience or relationship that creates expansion or causes me to shrink. That being said, I also have noticed when I am in an expansive experience, I don’t have to think, it just flows. Authentic self-expression comes to pass and I find I communicate better and see more clearly what there is to do, or say. A bit like a meditation.
When I am in the “ego” state or it’s running the show, I am not able to let go of what’s next, how’s this going to happen, and subsequently and immediately insecurities kick in. Meaning, when I am being authentic, I don’t have to know anything! Aha moment of giving up that knowing solves or creates anything! Fantastic state I hope to cultivate over the course of the next few months.
Yes, April, we are ALL going to be cultivating living in that flow state for the next three months. And when we crash to the ground with a thump or a bump, the insecurities kick in. Trust the process and stand in your authentic heart place.
A good way to use and harness the energy of the week is to focus your intentions and thoughts around a positive moment or dedicated intention in the morning upon arising. Establish it as a ritual to help you work with the Finger of God. After all if God is talking to YOU, YOU can talk right back! Create a dialogue with the Finger! And in honor of Mercury joining up with the Nodes of Destiny and inspiring your Thoughts to Soar to GREAT HEIGHTS as befits the Capricorn energy, below are some suggestions.
I like to say the Prayer of St. Francis about making me an Instrument of Peace.

It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children.
It doesn’t interest me who you are, how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

Monday Moon day January 14 finds Moon in gentle, kind, deeply emotional Pisces with a lovely closing aspect of an opening sextile to the Capricorn Sun. We have the ability to work, very productively, with the energy of the New Moon at 21 Capricorn last week. Things begun under this Moon roll forward with grace and beauty. Dreams can waken you as the Nodes and Venus argue about how to proceed. Trust the process and live in the moment. Venus has a working, and productive sextile to Chiron, encouraging her to move past her old wounds to embrace love, passion, desire and what she deeply wants. Venus sets off the Jupiter in the Apex of the Finger of God stimulating the evolutionary energy and the triangle in your chart. Pluto and Juno join up around 5:30 pm, releasing secrets and information you would rather not have heard about. Mars trine to Zeus offers an option to take action to move situations forward productively.
Tuesday Mars Day January 15 Moon in Pisces continues to gently nurture and create…Not a lot of aspects makes it a relatively quiet day. Dreams are full of chasing. Health matters can swell out of nowhere. Mercury connects with the Nodes of Fate in an easy flowing manner. Say yes to the offers you receive. They are going to be fun! Watch for who arrives in your life. Or for messages you receive. Pay attention to them. Mars and Hades have a bit of a tussle ~ more over security issues than anything particularly difficult. But do pay attention to what is going on. Mars and Neptune are both trying to get you to see patterns, ~patterns in YOUR behavior as well as patterns in the OTHER person. Mercury’s union with Venus by declination suggests you might be kind of anxious about the matter before you ~ deal with it directly. No avoidance. Vesta has an adjusting aspect to Juno suggesting you can shift how you feel about partnerships or relationships. Pack up the stuff and get it OUT OF YOUR SPACE.
Wednesday Mercury’s Day January 16 finds Moon void in the Morning and entering Aries around 11 am. Moon in Aries has a closing aspect of an opening square to Mercury. You are not going to like what you hear, read or the message that is delivered. That said, it IS clear. You DO have a choice. Venus’ aspects with the Nodes are troubling but get the matter cleared up and taken care of. Sun’s trine to Admetos marks an ending of some sort that is expected and not unwelcome. You are moving on. Sun contraparallel Jupiter offers an ability to over do or over be….it’s about excess but in a way that you can see it. Stand in your truth or if you are not clear, state your uncertainty and receive clarity. Health matters swell today so we can expect the flue to expand. This will be a wicked strong flue season. Venus joins with Pluto setting off the Pluto leg of the Finger of God and offering you a choice of how to proceed, especially in triangular relationships. Her union with Pluto also offers the opportunity for exposure and getting caught in triangles that are secret or don’t want to stay secret. Saturn’s sextile to Juno encourages you to take a forthright approach to relationships and to fess up if you get caught out or called out. Time for you to make decisions about the situation(s). And perhaps, on some level, you kind of wanted to get caught? Stand in your truth and go to the high version of what it can be.
Thursday Jupiter’s day January 17 finds Moon in Aries with a square closing aspect so information received continues to be difficult. Venus is moving through the Finger of God and sets off Saturn today. Remember to live in the moment and flow with the energy toward whatever the higher good can be. No stressing. Fingers of Gods are like mama cats carrying YOU the kitten, to a new, safer or better place. On the journey, you might run into a dog or something else mama cat doesn’t like. Relax and let the Finger of God mama cat whisk you away! Lots of clearing out or cleaning up of your space or papers today. Venus wants to form a new kind of partnership, a serious relationship, a redefinition of what love is and how to partner with it. Let Venus speak about her dreams of what she wants. Deep feelings emerge out of a very hidden space so pay attention to them. This is the voice of your deepest being. Don’t be afraid of it. Turn to get to know it. Health matters start to clear up a bit.
Friday Venus’ day January 18 finds Moon still in Aries and rolling through tasks and responsibilities at a very fast pace. You may find it seems particularly speedy energetically and emotionally today as the energy forms a fiery opening quarter moon with Capricorn Sun ~ cardinal signs just zip, zip, zip, through stuff. Things just fly by today. Sun joins with Mercury, a situation called Combust, so folks don’t think their opinions are wrong or incorrect. You don’t either. Find a place where you DO agree and start from that point. Arguing is useless right now. Venus is in a stressful ending aspect to a situation she needs to change or let go of. There is a desire to catch up with people and form connections. Pick up the phone or write that long overdue letter. Moon enters Taurus at the end of the day making it a good time to go out on a date or meet up with friends for delicious food.
Saturday Saturn’s day January 19 finds Moon in Taurus with a harsh closing aspect of an action taking opening square to Mars. Moon in Taurus is normally placid, kind and loving. Now the Moon or emotional nature feels a bit more aggressive and angry ~because it IS more aggressive and angry. It ends up in a fight with Mars. Or maybe hot sex but more probably a fight. Aquarius Mars is too in his head for sex ~ preferring intellectual sparing and Taurus moon just wants to be loved and have his or her neck rubbed. Harness the Taurus moon appropriately ~cuddle, create, nurture and get your neck rubbed. Mercury enters Aquarius for 24 days of brilliant ideas and at extreme height creativity. Mercury in Aquarius just flies through projects and sees the big picture and how it should be done. Health matters start to improve. Sun’s square to Apollon offers a sense of overarching relationship and connection. Sun enters Aquarius for 30 days of detached, group, collective or community work as well as a reconsideration of your hopes and dreams, your greater purpose in the world and how you do or don’t want to collaborate or connect with others who are different than you are. See the big picture and step back from things that make you go “No, not that way!” Find where you can witness and participate. Old partnerships are strained. You want to shift away from the way you’ve been doing things into something new. Emotionally, you are clear that structures need to be changed. And, you are ready. With Sun starting a new cycle through your chart, you can initiate higher minded ideas and spread them around for others to find, hear and agree to. Mercury’s inconjunct to Hades suggests you determine how you want to wrap things up and end on a graceful note.
Sunday Sun’s day January 20 find Moon void most of the afternoon and evening as she goes void at 1:16 pm EST. Moon exits Taurus with a square to Mars so it is quite productive and active energy even if a bit annoyed or irritated. Dreams are troubled with much tossing and turning. Your unconscious wants to talk with you! Mars semisquare to Uranus in Aries suggest unexpected arguments or discussions about things ~ fire and air feed each other so things and tempers can flare. Be careful with open flames, fires and candles. Take time this evening to plan your week ahead and your approach to it. It will be mighty busy! You will face some endings that wrap up a story that needs to leave your life. No worries ~ for everything that LEAVES, something new comes in.
