We are still in the incredibly unstable and separating period until March 11th. The week ahead will be an exceptionally unstable period in your life, particularly in your Aquarian and Pisces houses. Uranus squares the nodes of destiny later this week at the world axis. The week will offer you a choice of how you want to proceed with the rest of your life.
A few of you expressed fear that the energy of change in your world would appear in a negative manner in your life. It might. It might not. Truthfully, we don’t actually know. It is URANUS we are talking about. We never know what he is going to do until he does it. We do know he is amazingly unstable, chaotic and like a lightening bolt of energy.
We‘ve NEVER had this energy running through our bodies before (unless you are over 84). All of us are in the position of starting a brand new cycle of amazing discovery in a bit over a week from now. And, over the next 12 days, we say so long, farewell, au revoir, adios, auf wiedersehen, good bye, adieu, adieu, adieu to you and you and you. We say adieu to a part of our life that we’ve enjoyed up until now. We say goodbye to a part of our life that is no longer useful or part of our path. We can have very fond memories of it. Indeed we probably DO have fond memories. However, we have to move along to our next chapter, whatever IT will be. Au revoir until we meet up again. Farewell to our past. So long to the part of our life that is ripe and falling from the vines, into the dirt and leaving the mother plant, departing from us. A path separates into two parts, two paths, ahead. We’ll be asked take our choice. We’ll make our choice. We’ll move down one path, leaving the other choice(s) behind us forever. Or for a very long while at any rate.
I happen to love my Uranus transits as they always bring interesting events or situations into my life. I have friends who completely HATE their Uranus changes. Either way, Uranus is not a planet people are neutral about. He’s about changes and impacts on groups as well as how you feel about the collective. Television as the muse of the collective often reflects the planets by sign. When Uranus was in Aquarius ~ we had shows like “Friends” and “Seinfeld” ~ about groups of people and their adventures. When Uranus was in Pisces, we watched “Lost” where a tribe lives on an island and is “orphaned”, part of Pisces imagery, “reality” television shows and “American Idol” where your hidden dreams can come true as you are plucked from obscurity and made into a star.
Often your reactions to Uranus depends on how you feel about lightening striking some place in your life. And whether you are throwing the lightening bolt or if it is getting thrown at you, Uranus energy DOES come in as a bolt out of the proverbial blue! Notoriously difficult to predict “what” will happen under Uranus‘ influence, astrologers rely on those trusty key words: change, chaos, quirky, weird, anxiety provoking, unexpected, severing, divorce, upheaval, separating, unique, exciting, different, unusual and unanticipated.

So forward we go into even MORE exciting energy. It is just going to build and build and build over the next few weeks.
Instability will be reflected in various people and their behaviors in the world around us as well as in every one’s Aquarian and Pisces houses. People will be breaking up and separating. Leaving. Ending relationships. Divorcing. Having lightening strikes of wisdom into our being. Having lightening strikes of illumination around us. We each have a lightening bolts striking in our Pisces house this week.
Uranus is at the most unstable degree of the zodiac, 29 Pisces. The most explosive and out of control planet, Uranus at the most unstable, final, finishing and releasing degree of the heavens. The single most unstable degree of 360 degrees. For the next 12 days Uranus continues to roll through the last degree of Pisces. Boom. Boom. Boom. People will be blowing up their lives and their relationships all over the place. Because they HAVE TO!
The other way this energy appears is via projection~ we or the other person sees something in US that is actually THEIR issue. We each will have riots and earthquakes in our lives this week in our Pisces house. Riots and earthquakes are GOOD things as they make us see the world in a whole new way.
The heavens want us to be paying attention! In the week ahead, the Nodes of Destiny move backwards across the world axis and into new signs. They enter Sagittarius and Gemini, the signs of their exaltation. The Nodes of Destiny finish up an 18 month journey through Capricorn and Cancer this week. We’ve had to leave our childhood fantasies behind since August 2009. We’ve moved toward becoming an adult over the past year and a half. We’ve grown up. Now we get to expand our understanding, for the next 18 months, of what being grown up actually MEANS! And we get to expand in it and enjoy it.
Uranus in his highly unstable state squares the Nodes of Destiny in THEIR highly unstable state on Friday so we will be faced with a very important choice. In fact, it will be a life altering choice ~ evolving towards freedom and a new vision of life or devolving, slip sliding, back into the petty stuff that drives us crazy. Are you choosing towards a higher vision of how things can be or dragging yourself back into he said/she said/ drama/ gossipy stuff. The choice you face at the end of the week will, in hindsight, be one of the most important choices you ever make. Honor your soul and choose for your higher good, greater vision and towards the deepest wish in your heart.
And Venus enters Aquarius on Tuesday, offering all of us a unique ability to see our patterns and to work for the greater good. The good part is our love and desire nature is detached and able to see the patterns clearly. The bad part is our love and desire nature is SO frigging NERVOUS. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus ~ you know the fellow in the VERY unstable degree of the very unstable sign. Well now he’s in charge of our love nature. The good news is you only are a nervous wreak through March 11!
Moon’s Day, February 28 Moon in Capricorn offers us a productive day where we can move through piles of stuff and get things out the door and off into the world. The Moon has lovely closing aspects of a sextile to Uranus so push the energy to release, release, release. Health aspects appear so fight off the impending cold with vitamin C and extra warm tea. It is lingering and trying to get a foothold in your body. Early to bed tonight! Work on your own stuff today, don’t try to reach a compromise on things that you disagree on. Find the connecting place. Mercury offers a brilliant connection aspect to the Nodes on the World axis so pay attention to who you meet or hear from today as you will be working together to create something terrific. It is a profound connection day. It almost feels like there is TOO much energy pulsing through your body. Attempt to ground it with healthy activities and food. Emotions are profound and deep right now. You can get into squabbles about stupid stuff that other people want you to give them if you are not careful ~ avoid the squabble and focus on what you can accomplish and the places you can agree on. Remember you know how to navigate this tricky energy a bit better because you study the heavens. Vesta the planet of home and heath joins with the creative impulse to clear out and nurture yourself. See if you can sneak out for a facial or mani-pedi. Or make sure to do things to nurture yourself when you get home ~ flowers, candles, a long, hot bath, massage, delicious food. Take care of yourself. And watch that cold that is trying to come in. You can receive very bad news today about a situation that is ending soon. Help the other person strategize how to deal with it. There might be tears at the end of the day.
Mars’ Day, Tuesday, March 1, Moon in Aquarius has lovely aspect for accomplishing a great deal. It is another productive day even if you feel like you are about to jump out of your skin. Today, readdress the issues that were unresolved from yesterday. People are more flexible. Go for the greater good and community consensus. Mercury inspires you with a great idea while you are sleeping so make sure to make the adjustment when you first sit down to talk the matter over. Venus is at the last degree of Capricorn and moves into Aquarius so she’s being VERY practical and down to earth. Talk values, quality and cost to her to get her to cooperate with you. Once she sees what is in it for her, she’s on your side. In fact she comes up with VERY innovative ideas as she works with Uranus. You can reach consensus on issues that are unresolved from last week too. People actually are able to hear things where they weren’t able to hear you last week. So re-approach and try again. Keep vitamin Cing that cold. And another early to bed night for you! Partnerships are very productive today. So take action to get things done that serve the greater collective and wider good. Venus enters Aquarius at 9:38 pm for 27 days of inspired ideas. Just write them all down in your journal. You are not going to get them all done at once but it is a store house of information swirling around your head!
Mercury’s Day, Wednesday, March 2 Moon in Aquarius and Venus in Aquarius both answer to Uranus at the most unstable degree of the Zodiac. As my friend Molly says “Wowsa! That is a pile of energy flying around!” Venus argues with the Nodes of Destiny ~ it is an ugly choice but someone has to make it. And you probably will have to make it. Mercury is in NO mood to be told what he’s done wrong. He is way too sensitive right now. So keep your mouth closed. No, I told you so. No, see I was right. They finally realize their mistake. And now that the cards are on the table, you all know where this situation is going. Mercury is super, super sensitive to criticism. Adjust. Focus on what is right between you. Find the connection space. Clear out your space to make room for the new. They can see their pattern in this mess too. There is an aspect of brilliance with the nodes of destiny and your ego’s evolution. Pay attention to information from men today. A relationship may well end. Watch out for violence.
Jupiter’s day, Thursday March 3 Moon goes void at 9:37 eastern and enters Pisces at 11:47 am. Mars is in a very productive aspect with Pluto so part one of your dream is coming true. You’ve worked hard for this so take a moment to be proud of yourself. Again, vitamin C for that cold that is tugging at your nose and an early to bed. There is a sense that you don’t see how your detached words can hurt the other person. Or how their detached words hurt you. It is a day when kindness is important. Feelings are heightened and extra sensitive. The Nodes of Destiny change signs and enter Sagittarius/ Gemini. They will be moving backwards for the next year and a half through the signs of thinking, writing, communications and learning. Often when they shift, they bring up a major issue to be resolved. Pay attention today to the shift from being a parent/ adult to learning how to communicate in a new way. Words can would today so be careful what you say. Very sensitive energies abound. And unstable. Words can flare into deep feelings that are unspoken but profoundly shaken and unsettling. Remember 84 years are ending. Coming to an end. A once in a lifetime shift. Happening right before your very eyes. If you look for the deeper meaning in the energy, it will be there. Seek it out. It is there to guide you. Friday, Venus’ day, March 4 Uranus squares the Nodes of Destiny later today, reawakening the eclipse from December 21 and asking each of us to move forward. There is a moment of a very important choice before us. This is it! This is what we’ve been waiting for! It is our signal from the universe to proceed. Uranus’ square to the higher or lower form of energy. Are you going to go towards your souls’ deep, profound and philosophical beliefs, desires and a clear inspired vision of what can be? Or are you going to descend into petty bickering, gossipy and he said/ she said back and forths? Choose wisely. You haven’t worked so hard to get conscious to blow it all now with a bad choice! Moon in Pisces has aspects of awakening and understanding your soul’s purpose for taking you to where you find yourself right now. Pisces Moon’s closing aspect is a union with Uranus to start a brand new story of change in your life. The whole purpose of each of our lives is to evolve and become more conscious. And in a sense, they are. But IF you can live with the incompatibility, do. So much is shuffling and moving, they might move too. Keep silent if you don’t know what you want to do. Listen to the quiet voice in your heart. Be brave. Take the risk. Make the choice that takes you to the place your soul wants. You might find yourself rejecting the “conventional wisdom” when you make that choice. Make it any way. Health matters can surface today. Take extra vitamin C and get to bed at a reasonable hour. Saturn’s Day, March 5 Moon in Pisces meditates and wants to encourage you to continue to choose towards the higher vision of good. YOu might have had troubled dreams last night but they hold the clue to what you need to do going forward. It doesn’t need to be a huge declaration. It simply needs to begin. So Begin. Let go. Release. Begin. Mercury in Pisces is deeply submerged in feelings without words. Sometimes words aren’t needed. Hold tight to your vision. Don’t let other people’s words dissuade you from what you know, deep in your heart that you need to do. You’ve accomplished a great deal. Be proud of yourself. Be happy with what you’ve achieved. Shake off the criticism of “if only I did xyz…” Second guessing is useless. Partner with your deeper hopes and desires to be of service.
Sun’s Day, March 6 Moon in Aries has lovely closing aspects of a sextile to Neptune asking us to take action on our dreams. She awakens our passions and feelings as she aspects Venus and Pluto today. Expect the day to fly by in a very rapid fashion. We’ll be in the mood to kick up our heels and dance energetically. We’ll adjust some old or long held beliefs today and offer a more balanced way to look at them. Mars watches as Jupiter speaks to you of deeper truths. Listen to what is said today as it has guidance held out to you in its hands. Sun says no more sacrificing and rewounding yourself over and over and over again. It is time for healing or for letting go. Again, see how you partner with the story before you. People are transits in YOUR chart~ the situations and people in your life are there because they are part of your path. Learn the lesson and let it go. No beating yourself up over it. Saturn and the Sun have a dance of adjusting today asking each of us to understand how and why we are making the choices we make. Some of the choices, of course, we are “stuck” with. Libya’s independence chart is Dec 24, 1951, midnight, Tripoli, Libya. The current regime took over in a coup on September 3, 1969 at 4:30 am and broadcast its success at 6:30 am according to Nicholas Campion‘s book of World Horoscopes. There are oodles of aspects that draw this astrologer’s eye but the impact of Saturn in the second house on Mars/Saturn point, the Jupiter return in Aries and the various Nodes of Destiny shaking the Natal, Solar Arc and Progressed Suns. We can expect the new government to be very conservative and probably religious as the two Progressed Suns just entered Pisces for the next 30 years and Progressed Moon is in Capricorn for the next 30 months.
