Dear friends,
There was a New Moon in Scorpio this week, perfecting in the wee hours of Thursday. I didn’t manage to schedule the webinar in advance of the actual event — I recently flew south for the winter, and I’ve had a good friend staying with me in Florida — but I do hope that you will be able to join me TONIGHT for a deep-dive into the current cosmic trends. (You’ll want to do your New Moon ritual tonight or tomorrow anyway, as the Sadge and Capricorn Moons this weekend have better closing aspects!)
Please click here to register and join me for the Scorpio New Moon Manifestation Circle webinar tonight: Friday, November 21 st at at 7:30 PM Eastern US time!
The New Moon chart, which is active for the 30 days ahead, in addition to seeding new two-and-a-half-year cycles in our lives, has what we call a Locomotive configuration. Fast-moving, powerful, assertive — with complex configurationes especially in the chart cast for Washington, DC. (See image below!)
The Sun and Moon at 28 degrees, 11 minutes Scorpio, are both tightly conjunct a retrograde Mercury at 28 degrees, 27 minutes Scorpio. This is a prime time for intense investigation, leading to the revelation of secrets. What you heard before isn’t the whole story, and maybe what you’re hearing right now isn’t the whole story either, but nevertheless it’s an improvement on what we knew before. We are heading in the direction of truth, equity, and transparency.
Mercury is opposite Uranus in the New Moon chart (the second of three passes, with both planets currently retrograde): look out for shocking revelations, which will continue to unfold over the next month, as Mercury goes direct and crosses through his shadow into chatty, open-minded Sagittarius.
What you learn (or learned) this week should move you . . . and it will. Scorpio may be a fixed sign, but this chart as a whole is all about MOVEMENT. One of Scorpio’s keywords is transformation: let the news you hear transform your internal point of view, in addition to prompting action in the short term.
It’s interesting, given the current political upheaval here in the USA, to note that the New Moon chart is especially active when cast for Washington, DC. If you count the Ascendant of the DC chart as one of the points, you can read this New Moon chart as containing a Star of David or Grand Sextile — two interlocking trines in (or in the case of Pluto in Aquarius, closely conjunct) the last degrees of Earth and Water. Everyone is talking to everyone. The flow of information can no longer be controlled.
So we’ll obviously be discussing the Epstein files tonight and what their (partial) release might mean for this country as we continue to work our way through the long, difficult Pluto return that has ruled us for the last few years.
We will also be talking about YOUR chart, and how you can make use of the tool that is astrology, to help you become more effective, purposeful, and centered in your own life.
Please click here to register and join me. Hope to see you there!
Big hugs, Anne
