Dear friends,
Can you feel it? There is definitely something in the air. Not only spring (here in the Northern Hemisphere) but a new sense of freedom, direction, hope, and opportunity.
The Goddess of Love graduates TODAY. Later this evening (Thursday, April 24th) she will meet up with the Karmic Teacher, Saturn, at 27 degrees, 14 minutes Pisces . . . and THEN she’ll begin to move past him, off into the wild blue yonder. It’s the third of three tests: the others were on January 18th and April 7th. Now Venus has fully grasped all the material and in fact made it her own. She knows the rules so she can break them; she is ready to create her own new forms, structures, and containers.
Mars and Pluto, meanwhile, have recently engaged the third of three major confrontations — the others were on November 3rd and January 3rd. After all this, they still don’t agree but at least they know where they stand. Stop trying to bend the other person to your will. Do what YOU feel called to do instead.
All the personal planets are direct now for the first time since November, so this is full steam ahead into your future. When Mercury, Venus, and Mars were retrograde, we’re invited to reflect — to pause and think about our life RELATIVE to others, to the world, and to human history. These last several months, when all three have been retrograde, have been provoking us to clarify our values and set our priorities. Now we get to move forward in a way that is truly consistent with them.
On top of all this, there’s a beautiful New Moon ahead! The New Moon will take place at 7 degrees, 46 minutes Taurus on Sunday, April 27th at 3:30 PM here on the East Coast of the United States.
In the New Moon chart, Venus in Pisces rules the Sun and Moon Taurus, which means that both Venus and the Moon are in their respective signs of exaltation. (Venus is ALSO in a good mood because she’s passed Saturn and the North Node.) This New Moon is the most fertile New Moon of the year! Plant the seeds that you wish to see growing in your garden.
