Happy Solstice! And a Capricorn New Moon Eclipse

Dear friends,

The Capricorn New Moon Eclipse will take place in the wee hours of Boxing Day, December 26, 2019 at 12:13 AM Eastern US time. This New Moon is the first of our winter eclipses, and it’s the FIRST major Capricorn event since Jupiter entered that sign on December 2nd.

As you can see in the image below, this makes for an ENORMOUS stellium in Capricorn: with the Moon, Sun, Jupiter, South Node, Ceres, Saturn, and Pluto all nestled together at the bottom of the chart cast for Washington, DC . . . and Mercury will join them there just a few days later.

These Cap planets are asking us all to take responsibility for our individual and our collective well-being, as we close one chapter and open another.

With the South Node of Fate in the middle of the stellium, endings are permanent and prominent. This is a moment of Big Structural Change, which will start to settle down only once we get to the Saturn-Pluto conjunction on January 12, 2020.

In times like these, many people find themselves reflecting on what they have “amounted to.” Ending cycles make us nostalgic, while Capricorn is a sign that COUNTS. If you’re feeling depressed about the past, remember that the days are getting longer. For now, settle down and make a practical plan for your life. Know that there is just a bit of existential angst in the air; these are transits and they will pass.

Rilke wrote in Letters to a Young Poet: “[B]e patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”

Whether you are happy or unhappy with what you have accomplished so far, this New Moon is the perfect launch-pad for your next chapter. We have 36-year, 29-year, 20-year, 19-year, 13-year, and 12-year planetary cycles all ending — and BEGINNING — within the next few weeks.

If you’d like to learn more about the energy of the Capricorn New Moon Eclipse, I invite you to join me for my next New Moon Manifestation Circle webinar, this Sunday, December 22nd at 7:30 PM Eastern Time. [Recordings and slides available for purchase here!]

We’re also in the process of getting the New Year 2020 webinar set up: it’s scheduled for Sunday, January 5th. [Here’s the link to purchase the recordings!] Last year it sold out, so I encourage you to sign up soon if you want to join us!

And finally, I’m once again making the *last* year-ahead webinar available to download for free. If you’d like to listen to it, as you reflect on 2019 and prepare for 2020, you can access it here.

With warmest holiday wishes from me to you,
