Dear friends,
There’s a New Moon in Libra this weekend and a New Moon Manifestation Circle webinar on Friday night.
The Sun and Moon will meet up at 17 degrees, 21 minutes Libra at 11:46 AM Eastern on Saturday morning, October 10, 2026. (See chart below!) They’re answering to a moody, passionate Venus in Scorpio — who is currently exploring the dark side of her nature through a 40-day retrograde journey in the sign of her fall. Venus, in her turn, is answering to Mars in Leo, who is answering to the Sun in Libra.
Venus at 7 Scorpio is forming a tight, tense square to her lover Mars at 7 Leo, and she’s in orb of another square to out-of-bounds Pluto at 3 Aquarius. Pluto, for his part is moving even more slowly than usual, as he’s getting ready to station direct on October 15th. Together, the three of them form a fixed-sign T-square across the sky, poking impatiently on the early-Taurus section of your chart. Something’s gotta give — these big, dramatic standoffs are not sustainable — but everybody’s feeling very stubborn.
Once you succeed in breaking free of this holding-pattern, however, you can get a great deal accomplished. In the New Moon chart, the Sun and Moon are in orb of a lovely sextile to Jupiter in Leo — and the sextile to Jupiter will be the Libra Moon’s closing aspect on Saturday evening. It’s a very inspired, creative, generative energy: so be sure to do your New Moon manifestation ritual!
And if you’d like to learn more about the Libra New Moon and how it lands in YOUR natal chart, please consider joining me on Friday!
Big hugs,
Anne
