Accept all invitations and offers! Say YES, (exuberantly!) to the universe over the next four weeks! You might be surprised at what happens! Or what you learn! Or where you go! I try to take my own advice so last week I said YES!
As a result of YES!, on Saturday, I spent four hours roaming around the Pentagon with my friend. She asked if I wanted to tour the Pentagon. I said YES! It was an amazing experience.
The ground breaking ceremony for the Pentagon was September 11, 1941~ which helps explain why it was attacked in 2001! If we look at the numerology, 9, 11 2001, amounts to the number “5” (i.e., 14 = 4 +1 = 5), the number of sides of a Pentagon. The Pentagon was dedicated on January 15, 1943. The Pentagon sits on 34 acres of land including a lovely five acre center garden court. Large enough to accommodate five Capitol buildings, the largest office building in the world, the Pentagon has 6,500,000 gross square feet of space, 7,754 windows, and 17 1/2 miles of corridor. If you walk around the outer ring, it is close to a mile. However, because of its unique design as a pentagram, it takes only seven minutes to walk between any two points of the building.
No mistake in choosing that shape either! It is the shape that Venus traces in the heavens, a five pointed pentacle ensuring Venusian desire, financial and physical support. The fives sides of the Pentagon signify, for all sorts of occultists and freemasons, the fifth “emanation” of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The Fifth Emanation of the Absolute corresponds to Strength and the Sephira of Mars, the God of War.

The Pentagon’s dedication chart includes both an Out of Bounds Mars and Pluto… fitting for a building housing the military of the United States. Regulus and Arcturus, stars active in the layout of the Federal Triangle in Washington, D.C. are aspecting Chiron and Saturn respectively. Mercury is stationing, stopped dead in the sky, in brilliant Aquarius, joined to Venus, ruler of the day and parallel to Sirius, the guardian star in the 11th house of groups. The Arabic Parts find Uranus joined to Danger or Peril and Pluto on Catastrophe, while Pallas and Chiron both aspect Passion. The Nodes of Fate are on the 8th house cusp ~ the house of death, sex and taxes. Exalted Jupiter in Cancer in the fourth house rules Mars in Sagittarius in the 9th house of Wars fought overseas and the Aries Ascendant, giving the chart a firm belief system that what it does is right and righteous. Moon is exalted in Taurus and rules Jupiter in Cancer. It is a lovely chart for a building dedicated to service of the greater good and patriotism through the difficult passage and process of war. A lovely Moon Sun trine between Taurus and Capricorn speak to the earth dedication and grounding. The preponderance of Fire and Air planets describe the fire based energy of war as well as talking or planning to avert casualties and achieve goals.
We walked all around the Pentagon for close to 4 hours. In addition to being the headquarters of our military, it is a giant museum! It has all sorts of exhibits, photographs and memorials to the many brave men and women in the five branches of the armed services that guard, defend and serve our nation. A magnificent section included poster sized photographs from current military personnel of their visions as they serve our country around the world. A young girl of perhaps 6, who lost her entire family in the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004, gazed at the camera with the calm ocean behind her. Her eyes were haunted but hope filled. I wanted to hug her. Another wall contained a tribute to the longest living veterans ~ many over 100 years old with VERY BIG SATURN fingers symbolizing their longevity as well as their birth and death dates. Every major military expedition was presented. Every major humanitarian mission was documented. The Act of Military Surrender signed at 2:41 pm on May 7, 1945 in Reims, France which ended World War 2 was on exhibit. A TIMED surrender document!
We sat in the beautiful garden courtyard in the middle of the pentagon and enjoyed the breezes. In the very middle of the courtyard was a hot dog stand. Throughout the Pentagon, there were marble pentacles in the floor at every crossing point. Each of the Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff had full body portrait oil paintings ~ with their choice of backgrounds ~ photographs of their families, their plane that crashed after it caught fire, or the ship they commanded. The military chapel with its approach that we are each three legged stools needing to balance our legs: spiritual, intellectual and physical. I could have spent days reading and seeing all there was to see.
The ? mark points to the HOT DOG STAND in the middle of the courtyard. Apparently the Russians thought it might be a missile silo…. Nope. Just a concession stand to feed the 23,000 people who work at the Pentagon.
In addition to experiencing the various components of the Fifth Emanation of the Absolute at the Pentagon, we toured the city. Washington’s Federal Triangle ~ the Washington Monument, the Capital and the White House ~ are laid out and aligned with the three main stars of the Virgo constellation: Arcturus, Regulus and Spica. On August 10, 1791, the three lovely fixed stars rose at sunset, forming a celestial triangle which mirrors the city’s Federal Triangle. Jupiter was ascending in Virgo when the city’s first marker stone was laid on April 15, 1791. On October 13, 1792, the Marker stone for the White House was laid with Moon ascending in Virgo ~ no kings for America ~ working servants! The Capitol was founded with Mercury conjunct the Sun in Virgo on September 18, 1793 (they can be kind of picky and fussy) while the cornerstone for the Washington Monument was laid when the Moon was in Virgo. It is a Monument, instead of a memorial, because George Washington was still alive at the time. Of course, the city IS named after George and Columbus.
Of particular interest to me was the American Indian Museum at the Smithsonian. It has no corners because the corners are where dark energies can hide and to reflect the reality that there are no naturally occurring corners in nature. The Museum is set on the Cardinal Directions, with stones from the far reaches of the hemisphere linked to the Circle of Sandstone in the heart of the Museum and the center point of the Capital Dome.
David Ovason, in his book “The Secret Architecture of Our Nation’s Capital”, concludes that two centuries ago, designers George Washington, L’Enfant and Ellicot sought to align the city, and therefore the nation, with the stars, knowing that the power of the combination of the celestial and earthly would affect its destiny. He writes, “A city that is laid out in such a way that it is in harmony with the heavens is a city in perpetual prayer. It is a city built on the recognition that every human activity is in need of the sanctification of the spiritual world, of which the symbol is the light of the living stars.”
We are each in harmony with the heavens in a perpetual prayer. Unfortunately, UNLIKE a building, we can get off course. Our charts tell us how we get off course as well as how we can reconnect with our sanctity and deep union with the living stars.
Our week ahead will mirror for us how we’ve constructed our lives the same way those fixed stars mirror the Federal Triangle in Washington, the same way the Pentagon’s shape reflects its Mars mission and purpose as does the American Indian Museum’s desire to live in close proximity to nature with a dome opening to the sky.
You will be asked to focus, dedicate and stay connected or reconnect to your inner dreams of what you want your life to become.
You will be asked to look in the mirror of your life. Accept what you see. Welcome it. No criticism. No giving yourself a hard time. Accept. Look. Listen to what people are saying to you. If someone says you are “controlling”, acknowledge it as THEIR reality…. For THEM you might be controlling. But for YOU, are you controlling? Or do you like things the way you like them? Look in the mirror. What is so bad about being controlling anyway? Why do you fight that definition?
Mars sets off a Finger of God/Goddess all Week between Saturn and Pluto. IT is time to TAKE ACTION with Mars in Gemini at the Apex of the Finger. We’ve been working with variations of this Finger since December 4, 2012. The heavens have been trying to get you to see something you haven’t seen yet. They’ve been asking you to make decisions about your life. They’ve been signifying an ending and a new beginning in your life. They’ve been asking you to heal your life.

We each have about three to four weeks to wrap up our old life and finish those chapters before our lives shift dramatically into Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn turns direct forming a huge outer planet emotional, evocative and progressive grand water trine with Neptune. We start NOW, this week as Saturn forms a his second trine to Neptune. We can keep clearing things and focus on our summer ahead promises amazing connections, creation energy and the planting of brand new gardens in each of our lives.
Saturn and Neptune perfect their Trine starting our story of building a foundation under our dream. This is pass two of three…. You know how you stand at the edge of the pool and the coach counts to get you ready to go: “One, Two….” And on THREE you have to JUMP in the water? THREE comes July 19th. However, this is YOUR life so you can jump in now and start swimming for your future. We get a fore shadowing of the lovely grand trine in water story of the upcoming summer.
The four planets out of bounds means folks will not be in the mood to follow the rules until Friday when Mercury and Vesta come back in bounds! Mercury, Venus, Vesta and Ceres are out of Bounds. Out of bounds planets have qualities that the regular planets don’t have because they don’t follow the Sun’s path. Out of bounds planets can be arbitrary, capricious, brilliant and gifted. They want to break expectations and go their own way. Stretching your limits. Venus comes back in bounds next week. So ASK FOR WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE THIS WEEK!! Mercury is in the position to leap tall buildings for you!
Chiron stations to go Retrograde so we deal with a “stopped” Chiron in Pisces. Chiron stations bring up old wounds for healing. Invite the healing energy in. When Chiron stops, we have the scabs pulled off our wounds. OR we see how to move toward healing ourselves. A kind of cosmic riptide of healing! A dear friend recently wrote: “ I have thought and thought about this ever since my last trip to Florida. I guess I knew then but I just didn’t want to give up on him. I have decided to let him go mostly for my sake not his. He is a very, very selfish person who also delights in hurting my feelings any time he can. I have kept my mouth shut so we wouldn’t fight but I can’t stand the hurt any more. I don’t want to give up what I have worked so hard for 35 years to create and go live with a drunk, woman chaser. I am glad the universe gave me a second chance at this. I see clearly now. You always said you are where you are supposed to be. I see things now that have always been there. I just didn’t see them or didn’t want to. Thank God I woke up.”
The tide is shifting…. Get ready! It is a profound shift of the direction of the energetic currents of your life. Stations of Chiron in Pisces can feel a bit like a riptide or a whirlpool you are captured in but they are designed to heal you. This one is bigger than most as when Chiron stations as there will be a trine with Saturn as well as Mercury and Venus in Cancer. Chiron’s going to be healing a lot of wounds this week!
Juno stations to go Retrograde so we deal with a “stopped” Juno in Aquarius. Juno stations ask us to look at our partnerships ~ romantic and otherwise ~ to see where we need to make adjustments or changes. Flying at 20,000 feet, Aquarius Juno MISSES NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING. Every relationship has problems ~ we all have baggage that can be unattractive or difficult to load in the luggage rack. You are looking for baggage that goes with yours. Or a partner that can support you in the difficult passages in the world. Juno asks what we want for or from our partners… romantic or otherwise.
Moon day Monday June 10, 2013 finds Moon in Cancer with nice closing aspects of a union with Mercury. Moon sets off Pluto and Uranus so unexpected events can take place today that are deeply emotional and unsettling. People quit. Walk away. Walk out. Break down. A fun one indeed. It is a good day to launch things or change things that are exciting to you too~ just do it after 12:40 pm EDT and before 5:15 pm EDT! Throat matters are trying to heal so speak your truth. Mercury trines Chiron so you can hear difficult words. They ARE words that will help you heal even if they are not what you want to hear. Or perhaps they are helpful, healing words… embrace them and go for it! Home and personal partnerships want to be adjusted tonight. Sun has a stressed out aspect with Saturn… you have to step up and speak your truth. Gotta say it. Or at least see it and own it as yours. No fear. This is all about evolution. You can do it.
Mars day Tuesday June 11, 2013 find Moon void all day in Cancer, making it a quiet and deeply emotional day. Mars has fight seemingly out of nowhere with Eris the Goddess of Discord. Did you ever think they were doing that on purpose to provoke you? And what is your role in this? How do you buy into the provocation and use it as a justification for YOUR behavior. See the patterns that are older than the hills. Do you really want to be doing this in another seven years? Time to change it up…. Push for your new dream. Venus opposes Pluto ~ sometimes we stay in relationships because they serve some un-named or un-owned shadow side of us. Today you can see it. Venus opposite Pluto makes the triangles, triangulation and manipulation that takes place around it very, very, VERY clear. Saturn’s second trine to Neptune perfects today. Again ~ the situation exists because you let it happen. No penalty for that. You just don’t have to do it anymore. Freedom beckons. Mercury’s day Wednesday June 12, 2013 finds Moon in Leo with a supportive closing aspect to Jupiter. Things undertaken today and Thursday have a positive outcome. Sun links up with Jupiter encouraging expansion and new ideas. Dreams are quite encouraging. You face a difficult emotional situation ~ focus on the love not the fear. Health matters shift again ~ you need a two pronged approach to the matter at hand. Sun’s opposition to Cupido says you might feel you need to leave a group you love for the future you want. Mercury makes a fated choice this afternoon to move toward his dream and ideals. Pay attention to connections and communications today ~ they point and guide you toward your future. Venus squares Uranus bringing excitement to the relationship front. You can feel it is not salvageable but in fact, with a minor adjustment or two, you can go there. Remember folks use the defenses that worked for them in their childhoods in their adult lives. Honor the defenses by respecting them. Then gently suggest other options. Moon’s sextile to Mars suggest people might be open to hearing new approaches to old problems or difficult situations. They might actually hear you. Mercury links up with Vesta to help transform the home and hearth spaces.
Jupiter’s day Thursday June 13, 2013 Moon in Leo is productive and perky with supportive aspects to Uranus and the Sun. Venus’ harsh aspect to Admetos offers an ending to a situation that has gone on for a long time. Sun’s sextile to Eris suggests you take any irritation and use it to power through what you need to accomplish. Lots of energy flows through this day. Sun joins to Mercury so everyone, including you, thinks they are right. Allow the possibilities to flow ~ open your mind to other options. Mercury enters his shadow for his upcoming Mercury retrograde ~ the story of your upcoming Mercury retrograde journey appears today in your Cancer house at 13 degrees.
Venus’ day Friday June 14, 2013 finds Moon void in the morning and entering Virgo around noon thirty EDT. Mercury and Vesta both return to normal operating proceedures as they return in bounds from their out of bound journeys. Like astronauts returning to earth, they calm down and regain their focus, gravity and purpose. Wild dreams last night, reverberate in your being during the day. Talk about them with friends if they are not clear. Venus trines Chiron offering a healing opportunity that is particularly delicious and way overdue. People can respond in extremely emotional manners to situations. Stand back and let them have their experience. It probably isn’t about you and there certainly isn’t anything you can do to change it. They have to have their awakening. You are watching them hatch.
Saturn’s day Saturday June 15, 2013 finds Moon in Virgo with a closing aspect of overdoing when she squares Jupiter. Or of doing twice, maybe three times… Juno stations so partnerships today are reevaluated and perhaps a bit stressed ~ but in a good way. Relationships can be negotiated. Mars finishes his Finger of God/Goddess to Pluto. The evolutionary moment is completed. Take action in the manner which calls your heart the deepest. Now we get to build on it. Mercury argues with Juno about partnership and relationship oriented questions. Can you agree to disagree? Sun’s union with Vesta encourages needed and welcome changes around the home.
Sun’s day Sunday June 16, 2013 finds Moon in Virgo most of the day and entering Libra a bit after 9 pm on Sunday night. Moon argues with Sun offering a bit of space between what you need and want versus what will happen. Allow the space. Sometimes we don’t actually know what is best. Venus has aspects with the Nodes of Fate… so pay attention to who you met yesterday and today. Dreams are disturbing about endings… or taking action to end things… it is about setting yourself free. Patterns are clearer and dissolving. Chiron stations to go retrograde so the five days before and after today offer a deep opportunity for healing and wounding. Chiron pushes each of us to delve deeper into our purpose. Mercury and Mars link up so words can be particularly sharp or wounding. You need to set things straight with a situation. Now is the time to do it. It is only going to get busier or be harder going forward.

If you didn’t sign it yet, please consider joining your voice and adding your signature to the chorus of people asking for a change in the law.
Among other things, it removes the criminal penalty for prostitution for young women between ages of 16 and 18. It offers them treatment and support systems. Instead of being arrested and turned back over to their pimps, they are classified as trafficking victims coerced into sexual acts.
For the past few years, I’ve been having Pluto transit my natal Mars in my 11th house of other people’s children. As a result, I’ve been meeting quite a few people who work to prevent Sex and Child trafficking ~ a very Pluto/ Mars kind of business ~ as well as a number of people, both men and women, who were trafficked as children, teenagers or adults.
New York State has 300,000 children trafficked through it every year. We have international borders and are a major point of entry into the United States.
